I love lavender products and I love Badger products so was eager to try this when I saw it on iherb. The product comes if a handy tin but the lid is a bit stiff so can be hard to open at times. I like the texture, it’s quite firm but melts into the skin nicely and doesn’t leave it greasy. The scent is subtle but does last a long time. It’s definitely relaxing but not as good as some other balms I e tried. I found it was more helpful for anxiety than sleep.

While it didn't exactly work for me it is a lovely smelling aromatherapy option for children. Seems to work better for them. A warm shower , then applying is my best advice.
I have used this regularly for the past little while but don't find it helps me get to sleep at all. I usually just use pure lavender oil drops on my pillow and find this relaxes much more and aids sleep. I don't find the scent of this is strong enough and have trouble smelling it when it is on. Maybe I'm to used to the strong lavender smell.
I probably wouldn't repurchase or recommend as just plain old lavender oil works a treat for me!
Tips: I use on temples and neck.
I absolutely love these tins they are so cute, vintage type tins and fit perfectly in your handbag or in your bedside drawer.
I just rub a little under nose , temples and on my chest.
It has a sweet slight lavender smell to it, but it's not overpowering at all, it's quite pleasant The aroma really calms and relaxes you, and puts you at peace.
I have been using it every night for at least 2 weeks now and I find it helps to settle my mind, It doesn't put you too sleep but aids to relax you into the transition of sleep. I'm one of those people who goes to bed and my mind just ticks over anything and everything, since I've been using this my mind had definitely been less active. I use it on my little one aswell to help him off to the land of dreams and he just loves it.
The balm is quite moisturising aswell, A little goes a long way once emulsified in your fingers, this product will last you a very long time!
I really love this product and swear by it, for helping me unwind from a long busy day.
I will admit I purchased the Badger Sleep Balm just because the packaging was cute and it was on special, but I really love this product!
I have now used every night for the last week and I'm not sure if it has improved my sleep but it certainly relaxes me before sleepy time. Even my other half likes to use it now!
I really love the fragrance as it isn't to over powering and I have always loved the smell over lavender, it reminds me of my Nana.
Tips: Gently rub into your temples, your wrists and a little over your sinuses.
I received a full size sample of the Badger Lavender and Bergamot Sleep Balm in a Goodie Box subscription awhile back. It immediately sounded appealing to me as I love Aromatherapy products. The packaging is cute and looks a bit vintage. I struggle to fall asleep most nights as I work full time and come home to an active toddler and find it hard to wind down most nights. I applied the Badger Balm as directed. It has a really lovely Lavender and Bergamot mix scent. I also tried dabbing a bit under my nose and found it more effective. I definitely felt more relaxed so I could drift off to sleep. I use this most nights and do feel like I sleep better due to the aromatherapy oils in the product.
Tips: I recommend adding a dab below the nose as well as the temples.
I have been testing this on my temples (I didn't want to apply this all over the recommended areas straight away) and I'm so glad I didn't. Every time I use this sleep balm on my temples, the next day I wake up with little pimple like spots on both sides. I don't know what they are but for my skin to react like that each time I use the sleep balm, it's telling me it's not good for my skin. And that's actually a shame because I found the subtle scent to be rather calming but it just doesn't agree with my skin for some reason. I do still enjoy sniffing it before bed though lol. It really is a soothing scent.
I received my Badger Sleep Balm in a GoodieBox, and have reached for it over times of stress, where I struggle to get to sleep, or have a good nights sleep. Even simply reading the words 'Sleep Balm' begins the relaxation process. The tin is compact and discreet, but contains a decent amount of product. The product itself is dense and solid, but is easy to spread onto the skin. I apply it to my temples alongside a little sniff of the tin itself. I have also applied this on my wrists as I sleep with my hands by my face. The scent is pleasant and relaxing without being overpowering. Unlike many other sleep aid products, there is more than just lavender involved. My nose can be a little sensitive at time and it doesn't make me sneeze.
I'm sure there is an element of mind over matter, but this product does work. Compared to my prior state, the Badger Sleep Balm helps me to relax and calm my mind and body. It is a lovely step to add in before bed, to remind myself to switch off from the day and not worry about tomorrow. A little goes a long way and the price is very affordable. At times of heightened stress I did need to combine this with the Rescue Remedy drops and I would recommend an natural supplement over this for anyone with extreme stress, although the two products are the ultimate combination. I will continue to use the Badger Sleep Balm at times of stress. This product would also be a lovely, thoughtful gift for somebody going through a stressful time.
Tips: A small dab under the nose would have even better results.
I got this product from Mighty Ape as a swap for something else that was out of stock. It was $9.95.
I had tried another brand of balm and was keen to see how this compared.
When it arrived I was surprised the tin was very small (12ml).
The small tin it comes in is burgundy and quite cute, with the Badger logo on it. It is easy to open and access the product.
The product is waxy in appearance and consistency, and melts into your skin on application. It absorbs quickly leaving a gentle lavender fragrance on the skin. There is no spillage or waste.
As I have been doing with the similar product, I have been applying it to my temples when getting into bed and find it quite soothing and relaxing, but I can’t hand-on-heart say it helps me sleep, in fact the first night I tried it, I didn’t sleep all night.
I also put some on my wrists when I’m home during the day and inhale it every now and again because I like the smell and am finding it quite calming. I have to be honest, aside from the size of the tin, there is absolutely nothing to distinguish it from the comparable product, except the comparable product comes in a larger pot, so is better value. I guess I could argue that this smaller sized tin is more portable and easy to carry in a bag or even a pocket!
I wouldn’t buy it again knowing there is a more economical product that is almost identical on the market. If I were to recommend it I would also have to point out the comparable brand.
I have a lot of lavender scented balms and sprays to help us relax and sleep better. I’ve picked this due to the bergamot in it as I like mixing lavender with other scents sometimes, so we wouldn’t get to used to it or bored of it. I can barely smell the bergamot in this, but even the lavender scent is very faint too. The balm is too hard on room temperature, I prefer creamier balms, but this is just my personal preference. However due to it being on the harder side, it lasts ages, barely made a dent in it yet, however sides started rusting as it’s a metal container. I really won’t repurchase this, there are better ones out there.
