Black XS L'Exces by Paco Rabanne

I only got this perfume last year, but it has quickly become one of my favorite ones. When you first spray it on you, it smells very strong and almost not nice. However, give it a couple of minutes and it develops into a wonderful warm, deep, long-lasting fragrance. It smells like warm vanilla, roses, woody and sweet all at the same time. I love love love this perfume and have already used two bottles!

I have worn black xs on and off for years, I find it an awesome go to perfume, and it's such a sweet sexy scent! I find that only a couple of sprays lasts they whole day, which when you factor in the price of it, makes it a really reasonable daily wear perfume!

This perfume is amazing, one of my favourites, although I don't reach for it every day as it is rich and spicy. I save it for the winter and for going out at night. It smells very sweet but not sickly - like spiced cookies or mulled wine.

The Product:

- I own both the EDP and EDT. Both are divine. - The bottle size I own is the 80ml 2.7 FL.OZ. I find this lasts me a really long time (A month and a half to two months of every day use). - This is my signature scent. I think it is delicious and always gets compliments. However I do occasionally wear it when wearing something slightly more dressy. -I have been wearing it every day for roughly 4 years now. Never get tired of this lovely scent. - Originally my first bottle was a Christmas present from my mother who adores perfumes and she thought it suited my personality. She couldn't have been more accurate.

The Scent:

- It is a very sweet fragrance. When initially applied you really smell the middle floral notes of the perfume, however over the course of the day it mellows into a heavenly vanilla. - It generally lasts during the day very well. Every now and again it will also catch on the wind and reminds you that you are wearing it. Super lovely. Even as it mellows during the day and goes through its various changes, you still receive compliments.

The Bottle:

-The bottle is a lovely colour (a red/crimson colour with a black lid). It also has a lovely rose flower protruding from the glass which ties into the bold lettering which also has a rose printed above it. -It looks very attractive in the cupboard.

Price:

-I very much think it is worth the price tag. Although it is an expensive purchase, I never tire of it, and it lasts such a long time.

When i first smelt this perfume i was sure i was going to buy it. It is quite a strong smell, but, it has a sexy musk smell to it which makes me fall in love with the smell. I have worn this and got compliments, but have also been told it is too strong and gave them a headache! I thought that was hilarious. Certain fragrances are not for everyone, but this strong long lasting perfume is the one for me.

I smelt this perfume around Novemeber 2013 and went "Ewww I dont like it" - As I proceeded in walking around the mall it grew on me and I had to have it, my amazing fiancé presented it to me for Christmas. It is now my favourite and I wear almost everyday & on my wish list for every Birthday and Christmas. I Can't get enough of it and get major compliments every where I go. I would love to own shares in this fragrance haha. I go out and can party quite hard on the weekends and I still come home smelling tasty.

I have the 80ml Bottle, The bottle itself is something special, its sexy and carries a stand out design. The Price is well worth it, esp if you want something to draw attention while out.

This was my first 'signature' scent.

I came across it while duty free shopping a few years ago. Being as I was at the time, a bit of a rock chick, I was initially drawn to the appearance of the bottle/packaging. My fave colour is pink, and pink always looks good against black.

I've always been a sucker for anything vanilla, so I immediately loved the mix of candy-like sweetness and musky spice. It's a very sexy fragrance to wear.

I purchased the 50ml EDT for myself then and there, and the following 2 bottles I owned after that were both gifts.

I used to wear this everyday. I found the scent goes on quite strong, but after a while I couldn't notice it so much myself. I know from the compliments and comments of others though, that it was still detectable, and every now and then I would catch a hint of it.

I've since 'grown out' of this fragrance, and prefer softer, more floral fragrances. I think this scent is suited to an edgy, confident, younger woman.

I bought this perfume when I was a teenager as the packaging attracted me and looked quite cool and rebelious.

I was pleasantly suprised by the perfume. Its sexy, spicy, musky and sweet all rolled into one. Even though I bought it as a teenager I certainly think it can be used by adults as well as its quite a mature scent. Its very bold and powerful so I think it should be worn on occasions where you want to make a statement.

This is my fave perfume! It smells so so amazing and I feel so sensual when I wear it. I also love the bottle. You only need a few sprays and it lingers for hours! This is my trusty go to :)

I first purchased Black XS a few years ago when I fell in love with the cute little bottle and the beautiful scent. The base note of Vanilla is what drew myself to purchasing this beauty, so I got it in the smallest bottle of 30ml at the time to see how it would last throughout the day, with the perfect size to go into my handbag. Now it is one that needs reapplying part way through the day for a refreshing scent, but not much is required.

Part way through the bottle, I noticed it went missing. Sadly, I thought I had misplaced it like I usually did or left it somewhere at my mum's place like I do everytime I'm visiting. To my surprise my mum took it! She loved it so much, she thought she would make it hers. Not worried at all I let her have it as she wasn't one to buy perfume for herself but re-purchased it for myself.

To this day I still love this perfume, and so does she. It's the perfect present for Mother's Day at a great price, plus now I don't have to take mine down when I go visit her.
