Clinique Happy Eau de Parfum Spray

Got this Eau de perfume from my mother as a gift a few years ago... as she knew i loved the scent of Clinique’s simply perfume... However I must have a change of taste.. i use to love these clean, fresh perfumes... but now I’m more attracted to sweeter floral scents.

Cliniques’ happy perfume has a very clean, crisp, citrusy over very slight floral scent.. I think this is a classic or simple perfume suitable for a formal occassion or office wear.. summer or spring. Not too overpowering.. nor too sweet. But can be a bit sharp for the nose when first sprayed.... Wasn’t quite my cup of tea for a daily wear, but not totally intolerable.

Perfumes can be hard to review sometimes.. especially when it smells good on others, but not on yourself...

However, I love the look of the simple yet elegant spray bottle... It gives me a ‘happy‘ feeling when i look at it... Definitely suits it’s name.

This is my favourite perfume for summer. Its fresh and fruity and lasts really well. I find that it is not really for young or old, its a fragrance that anyone can wear. Feels like summer when you spray it on. A little goes a long way. I often have people asking what fragrance I am wearing.

I think the name actually suggests it all with this fragrance. It is light and fruity but not in an overly sickly way. It's really fresh and easy to wear. I would mostly wear this during the day rather than at night time. It possibly doesn't last quite as long as other perfumes, but this may be due to the fact it's a more subtle fragrance. I really like the fruity citrus notes and it doesn't seem to give me a headache because it's over powering. A really nice go to summery fragrance which I think has smells that remind me of summer fruits and flowers.

This perfume makes you feel Happy. It is such a nice summery smell. When you think summer, people tend to think floral, in this case however it is not the floral but the smell of sun filled days that is what you get.

This is an oldie but a goodie, the fragrance is super fresh, for those how don't like the super sweet fragrances but still want a very feminine scent this would be the go to perfume.

Such a lovely fresh scent! This is exactly what i would picture happiness to smell! Nice everyday perfume. Long lasting aswell and not intense at all.
