Dior Dune Review

I wore this fragrance for many years and then changed my signature scent. I always used to get fabulous comments about the fragrance ... now I think I need to buy some more. Thanks for reminding about DUNE!!

This scent is divine! I first was drawn to it many moons ago when an older cousin wore it as her signature scent. As I got older I couldn't help but purchase the odd bottle. It has since become my faithful & favourite! A little goes a long way. Although like most Dior products it can be a little pricey it is worth it. The fragrance lasts all day when you apply it to fresh clean skin after a shower.

I always get compliments when I wear this. Dune is a distinctive fragrance that you cannot help but fall in love with.

Clean, fresh, summery, romantic, divine, unique, distinctive, citrusy, elegant, sophisticated, long lasting, divine ... What more do I need to say? It's my ultimate favourite perfume!

I have a long love affair with Dior perfumes and Dune is no exception. I love the sophistication in the bottle shape, the heaviness of the glass bottle... the ease of application.

For an Eau De Toilette it has great staying power... lasts all day long. It has a floral spiced note at first that mellows to a soft, sweet, woody, floral scent after it settles on the skin.

I prefer this perfume in winter as it is a warmer scent type.

This is one of my all time favorite fragrances. The smell stays in your subconscious for years. The earthy tones is so me. I have had many compliments when I wore it. Great smell.

I can't recommend this fragrance Dune by Dior enough. Back in high school I tried this and I've kept on using it 24 years later. It's my 'go-to' and most favourite to have on hand. It's one of those fragrances that people always ask what I'm wearing and the minute I apply it I feel ready to start my day/night. It makes me feel womanly and alive.

I love this perfume, this is my summer perfume, have the body wash and the moisturiser! very citrusy smell, just divine, I have the 100ml edt, was given my first bottle as a gift, but liked it to so much I always use it,has an orangey/citrusy scent. it is a perfume that lasts all day.

I first tried this perfume when I was a teenager and was instantly smitten. I've had a few friends say that "it's an older women's scent" but I disagree. It's the kind of fragrance you put on and instantly feel a little more sophisticated. The smell seems to last the day on my skin and a little goes a long way. It's definitely a high end perfume and not readily available in the 30ml through the usual department stores. I have also searched through numerous duty free stores and haven't found it either so if you do find this perfume in a 30 ml it may pay to get it then and there. It is a rather strong scent and not everyone's cup of tea but I think it's one of Dior's finest and there isn't anything else on the market that smells like it (that I've found)

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried this. Knowing that virtually all Dior perfumes have gone through reformulations(sometimes, multiple times à la Miss Dior/Cherie), my assumption was that the perfume I was trying would be a "modernised" version of the original Dune (whatever that might be). Instead, I found the scent to be quite old fashioned- It wasn't the typical fruity florals you now find in virtually every scent. Rather, it is a powdery, heady scent.

I know that perfumes smell different on different people but I'm afraid this perfume was just too heavy for me. Maybe it is nice on other people but not for me.
