Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP Review

I must be the only person who doesn't like this fragrance. It's probably because it's a bit musky for me and I find it very cloying. Everytime I smell it I feel a headache coming on. One of my friends wear it and whenever we go anywhere together I have to sit at the other end of the table from her, it's that bad. I actually gave my bottle away (I was gifted it and feel very ungrateful about it) but just couldn't wear it.

I've read through the composition above and can't quite pick out what it is about this fragrance I hate.

This is definitely one of my favourites.

The hint of gold on the bottle is elegant and classy and definitely one of the nicer looking bottles sitting up on my perfume shelf.

It is pricey however, it is worth it IF you use it only for special occasions and not for everyday use, use it sparingly on nights out, or on dates to get the most out of it :)

The smell is divine! It is very hard to describe the actual fragrance, but it feels/smells warm, classy, romantic, cosy and sweet with musky undertones.

The perfume lasts well, a little goes a long way with this one, one squirt should last you the night, don't use too much as it can be overpowering!

It almost has a timeless vintage feel to it, I definitely recommend this to everyone :)

This is one of my favourite perfumes. When ever I run out I always replace this. The sent lasts for a really long time on me and I always get compliments on how nice it is. Defiantly a great every day sweet floral scent. I would have been using this for well over 5 or 6 years now and as I said above I always replace it. Over time the price has come down too which makes it a gorgeous everyday scent without breaking the bank. I started using this after I just happened to pick it up and try it in a department store one day and I haven't looked back. The bottle is simple and classy and not too bulky which is great for travelling. I highly recommend this fragrance.

I was given my first bottle as a gift and I have been in love with 'The One' ever since. It promises fruity tones which I love and delivers this and more with that lovely base of vanilla as a added bonus. I always get compliments when wearing 'The One' by young and old...which makes even the dullest day seem a whole lot more brighter!

Dolce & Gabanna's The One, is my favorite fragrance. The smell is not over powering and lasts all day. I always get compliments when I wear it. It's not cheap, but it's worth every cent.

I have been using this fragrance for the past 3 years. It is one of my favorites, therefore I always have a bottle of it among my collection. It is guaranteed to get you compliments from others, and I'm often asked what is it I'm wearing. It is a strong hit of scent when first sprayed, a mix of many scents, some floral and some More earthy, but it settles beautifully and stays on all day.

I own this fragrance and a couple of variations of it. Ive always found it so delicious, sensual and easy to wear. Whether its a Winter day or evening, this is one of those ones that is sophisticated and sexy and will suit almost anyone! Its not over powering and I think that's why sometimes its quite nice to wear over some of the other rather intense scents I tend to gravitate toward! My only gripe is this personally doesn't last that long on me, but layering it up with the lotion solves that!

I absolutely adore this fragrance! At first it seems rather strong but after just a few mins it softens down and smell heavenly! It has a warm oriental starting note with hints of floral . As it warms to your body it starts smelling a bit more of vanilla and fruits. It is perfect for everyday use but equally perfect for special occasions, something that not many fragrances can do. 'The One' lasts all day and you will be bound to get complements ! Overall this is a lovely fragrance, 5/5 from me!

This really is the one. If you have read my other reviews you will know I love the top houses and again D & G is untouchable. The offsprings of this perfume are all nice but the original trumps. Rich and regal.
