This to me is a run off the mill, pleasant smelling perfume. It is relatively forgettable and does not have any lasting power. For me, that alone makes this hard to review as I find the scent disappears within 5 mins of application (I have found this problem with all DKNY perfumes). I can't actually detect any particular notes

Gold By Donna Karan
According to Donna Karan, gold has always attracted her by its passion and power, and as a designer, she has always liked combinations of gold and black colour. She finally succeeded in creating a fragrance to reflect its warmth, power and attractiveness.
Gold is built of two main elements, which carry a scent of Gold lily from Casablanca and amber. Lily is intoxicating and sparkling, it attracts and seduces, while amber is warm, as a touch of gold.
This complicated and powerful, but also gentle and feminine fragrance includes the following notes lily, amber, acacia, white cloves, gold balm, golden pollen and patchouli from East Asia.
A whole team of perfumers worked on this perfume Yann Vasnier, Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Calice Becker. Gold was created in 2006.

I've had this perfume years ago, I ended up giving it to my mum as I found it to be a more mature perfume, I'm a massive fan of other DKNY perfumes from Donna Karan, but this one is not the light fruity perfume like the others. Its deep and full bodied. But the lasting power is great, it really does last all day.
While not the most stunning out there, this is a nice, solid lily fragrance. The lilies are true to life and creamy, and the amber warms everything up. It's a little more too intense for summer daytime wearing for me, but good for evenings or winter when you want something with some sillage and warmth. I find it long wearing and it's relatively inexpensive. I think it's worth trying if you love lily perfumes or are looking for warm/ambery florals.
I brought this perfume a few months back as I love her others for there sweetness and fruity smells, But this is not one of those perfumes, Its a more mature smell, very crisp, kind of reminds me of champagne. Although this isnt a personal fragrance of mine its still lovely none the less, it also has a great staying power.
If you love lillies this is the scent for you. The top notes are so true to life that they make me sneeze and cause my sinuses to play up just like real lillies do to me. Not too strong though so would be a good office scent, I also get a lime-juice like note which is quite prominent on my skin. Worth a try if you like classic modern floral type scents as this one can be picked up for quite cheap in stores.
