This is the fragrance for you if you are a fan of floral scents that smell very 'perfumey'.
That is to say, this scent is a very dated take on florals. It doesn't smell natural but like an old fashioned take on what flowers might smell like.
The initial spray is decent but before you know it, the chemical aspect of the scent can give you a headache.
I had a small sample sized bottle and that was enough for me to invest in a full sized bottle
I've worn Pleasures since the 90s and it is one of the only perfumes I've bought over and over, and the body products too. It really is the perfect fragrance to me. Fresh cut flowers (especially lilies), green grass but not too cool, there is some warmth there too. It suits day or night, work or weekend. Le sigh, I love Pleasures. It truly brings about a happy feeling too. Well done Estee Lauder!
Tips: Test before you buy, it can make some people sneeze because it truly is such a sparkling perfume.
I love Estée Lauder skincare and makeup. It would have to be one of my all time favourite brands. Most times I wait for a gift with purchase special, so I can try out different products. Many of my holy grail products have been discovered this way.
This fragrance is in an elegant tall glass bottle, that is just sophisticated and beautiful. I love the look of most Estée Lauder products, as they look so high end and classy.
The fragrance is very floral, the scents that come through are quite strong- it's like walking through a garden, with lilies, grass and other strong smelling flowers.
To me, this scent is too overpowering and not suited to me. It would suit someone who loves very bold and floral scents.
Although I love Estée Lauder skincare and makeup, I can't say I am a fan of any of the fragrances I have tried, such as this. In conclusion, this is not a fragrance I would repurchase. I will stick with the fragrances I love best - fruity, spicy and subtle.
I still cringe when I see this fragrance pop up. This was a gift a few years back and I recieved the Estee Lauder miniture gift set this year which reminded me of why I dislike it - not that I needed the reminder.
The textured pink peach box it comes in is such a waste! It comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a round silver top but the scent that's released is too much and made it hard for me NOT to wrinkle my nose and poke my tongue out.
The fragrance is a sickly rush of concentrated sweet florals. The lasting power is amazing and clearly a spritz or two is sufficient but even I find that too much.
I know EDPs have a higher concentration of perfume oils but my giddy aunt this EDP was excessive. I want to smell good without offending those around me and if it offends me I can only imagine the poor people I walk past. You will never find this on my wishlist.
I love this perfume and as it was one of the first ones I used, the bottle is very simple and classic looking and easy to spray. A little bit goes a long way with this floral perfume as it is very strong. i would always get compliments on it so continue to use it on special occasions as it is a bit more espensive than my other favourite ones.
Tips: Make sure you try it first as they do smell different on different people
I received this fragrance for mothers day this year. This fragrance has gorgeous floral notes. I personally do not like sweet fragrances so I love that this fragrance has fresh floral notes. Definitely a spring summer fragrance. Love using this as throughout the day and as it warms to uour skin you get hints of fragrance without it being heavy or over powering which normally puts me off. Lots of compliments in the office wearing this one.

I purchased a 5 pack of travel Estee Lauder perfumes and this was one of them. It comes in an appealing little bottle which I think is a replica of the large size.
It has a beautiful floral scent, I didn't really like this at first but after wearing it a few times it definitely grew on me. It is very feminine and I love getting wafts of it during the day.
It is quite strong so you literally only need 1-2 sprays and the scent lasts on me all day which I really like. I have had a few people ask what I am wearing. A lovely perfume which I would happily buy the full size of.
I used to find this fragrance pleasurable. As I grow older I find the flowery scent is too strong and it gives me headache. The scent seemed to be quite reactive, it smelled differently on my skin when used in different weather. Not something that I would ever repurchase again.
I used to love this perfume, I didn't overuse it but I absolutely adored it. Didn't use it for a while, then when I tried it again I couldn't stand it. That was a while ago now and I still can't stand it at all. Same thing happened to my mum - loved it at first but can't stand it now. It's almost sickening.
Another reviewer said it is an old fashioned scent and I agree. It's sweet and slightly woody. The scent does linger. Try it in the shop first and, if you do like it, I would recommend getting the small size.
Pleasures is a strange scent but in some ways it does a good job of capturing the 'essence' of life's pleasantries and the simple things that make one happy, it's cool yet warm at the same time and ultra peppery over a veil of musk and florally notes and the aroma of fresh cut grass, I feel like sneezing wearing this. It really does feel somewhat like being surrounded by natural lillies and flowers, crisp yet refined and laid back somehow, the smell of fresh laundry/ozone right before the rain when it hit's the hot concrete, the feeling of lying on a freshly mown lawn in the sunshine. Appropriate for the office as it is for a classy night out. Unfortunately the greenness and the sharpness of the lillies doesn't agree with my sinuses however and I had to give my bottle away due to the irritating peppery-ness. However this smells divine on lots of people I know and they love it.
