Estee Lauder White linen Reviews
Estee Lauder White linen The crisp, refreshing fragrance to live in all year long.
White Linen captures the very essence of a perfect day early Spring breezes tinged with the fragrance of fresh flowers and endless blue sky.
It evokes the crispness of clean sheets, the coolness of white flowers and fresh greenery. Bulgarian Rose, Violet and Orris blossoms lend a kind of natural elegance that transcends the seasons.

I love Estée Lauder but I was gifted this perfume and in all honesty I found it a little dry and a little too strong for me.
It’s long lasting so if your after a long lasting perfume this could be a go to for you.
But apart from that this perfume didn’t suite me.
It’s a very strong floral scent where the rose comes across quite well. Only for me it just seemed to have this musk undertone which played havoc with my senses.
I gave the bottle to my mother in law and she loves it and it smells ok on her. I can smell when she’s wearing it and it lingers so if your after a nice long lasting perfume try this.
My kids find it a little strong also so I try and wear lighter scents around them.
It’s a nice bottle. With a variety of sizes available if your unsure perhaps try the travel set with a few other EL fragrances included so you get a variety.
I purchased a 5 pack of mini Estee Lauder perfumes and Clean Linen was one of the scents. It comes in a cute bottle which is a replica of the larger bottle.
I am a bit fussy with perfumes, I dislike anything overpowering and can get headaches quite easily. This is definitely on the stronger side, you only need a small amount and the wear time on this is awesome. It doesn't have the horrible alcohol overtones like some other perfumes do which make me want to gag. I get subtle whiffs of it all day long.
To me it smells very fresh and clean. It is really floral, especially when first sprayed but then it settles down into a light summery, airy scent. To me I think it is definitely a more grown up fragrance, something perhaps my mum would wear. However as I only had a small bottle I did use it up. I wouldn't repurchase it as I just prefer others to this.
To most modern noses this would smell a tad dated and quite strong, but it pays to keep in mind that this scent was created in a time where powerhouse scents were the norm and this was created to be fresh, uplifting and reminiscent of clean linen. It actually reminds me alot of Estee another scent from the same era. It is a very summery smell to me, not one for the cold months and is very green and crisp, I can't make out many individual notes other than rose/violet. A smell that reminds me of childhood. Not really for me however my bottle smelled alot like hairspray on my chemistry but I absolutely adored a more modern version called 'white linen breeze' which had apricot/freesia notes and was a lighter more wearable version especially in warmer weather. I appreciate this for what it is, it is elegant and refined but it's just not the scent for me.
