FCUK Friction Review

Probably one of my top 10 favourite scents, I've gone through two of these bottles!

It's a nice and simple bottle, in a nude, pink, champagne colour. The bottle looks like crystal glass, and the top is just plane with the word "Friction" engraved in it! Topped of is a simple lid that you can easily remove and put back. I do have to say however that the lid removes the paint that is around the lid and from time to time you get chunks of paint that you have to take off, it can get messy especially if you have an older bottle.

It's a perfect Summer time scent, that is perfect for both day and night. A composition of the summer fruits makes it perfect for the day, and the warm vanilla, adds a sexy touch for a night dancing in town. And let me tell you ladies, this is a scent that men love! I would also say it's good for any age, but most recommend it for people in their late teens to early twenties.

I describe the scent as edgy, flirty, spontaneous and rebellious and wild!

When I smell the perfume, I can smell warm, woody vanilla, mixed in with coconuts, apples and pineapples. It then settles into smelling like a hint of jasmine or honeysuckle! I love this because it is sweet, but also warm and spicy, which makes it a perfect combination so that it's it's not too in your face, offensive smell!

The longevity is also very good! On me it lasts a good 8 hours at least, so I am very pleased with that! I do have to warn that a little of this perfume goes a long way, and too much of it can be a little nauseating at first, before it's settled in to your skin and clothes!

This is a wonderful perfume, that is super affordable and can be found very cheaply. I always have a bottle of this in my house, and a small version for my purse, because it is a scent everyone loves. Seriously, I've never met a person who hasn't liked this! If you're looking to please people this is the scent!

Just an added precaution that this bottle leaks like crazy, so be careful with it when it is laying down horizontal. Or better yet, dont put it down horizontally. As I was writing this, it leaked on my mattress :(

Whats not to love about this scent? I fell in love with this at the start of last summer when I was asking for a juicy pineapple scent and was recommend this. The funny thing is im pretty sure pineapple is not a note in this perfume it must just a combination of the coconut and honeysuckle that makes it smell like fresh glass of Pina Colada!

I love how fun & flirty this perfume is I just think bikinis and tropical beaches, but because of this it is a purely summer scent for me although it works great either day of warm night.

The botte is very simple with a cream top and textured glass bottle though there is nothing 'wrong' with it I do prefer my bottles slightly prettier but the scent MORE than makes up for this.

Over all this is a little gem and very reasonalby priced although I wasnt able to find it at farmers so keep your eyes open for perfume sales.

i love this scent! its a light airy vanilla scent that isn't overly heavy which is great or spring to summer. there are hints of leafy scents which i can't quite place which help to make if fresh and wonderful. the perfume is very long lasting.

I had seen this in a flash parallel import sale. I got the 30 ml for about $20. I thought it was a bargain at the time. I have tried smelling the other perfumes from them, but none of them were quite like this one. I would describe the smell as a sweet vanilla coconut with a slight floral note to it. I put it on straight after a shower and it lasted me all day. I fell deeply in love with this smell. It's so hard to find nowadays too. I always try looking for it at pharmacies and chain stores but can never find it. They always sell the other lines from this brand. I definitely would buy myself another bottle at the next parallel import sale. I love going to these sales because they price them at a price range that is affordable for everyone. I love the FCUK Brand too. I've also purchased men's fragrances in this line for my partner as well. The cream coloured bottle is feminine with the slight hexagonal pattern that I like also. I would definitely get myself a 100ml bottle next time. My sister wanted it from me. But I wouldn't give it to her because it was so good. I'd definitely recommend it because it's a smell that lasts a long time.

I brought this on a whim because of the coconut scent in it, and though it was something id like. I was right, this is a lovely light scent, thats a mix of sweet and fruity. The bottle is very modern and the smell lingures nicely. I paid $12.99 new on trademe, so was very happy to give it ago. Not my go to but defintaly a nice adition.

I was given this in a box set as a gift and was super unsure about it at first - fragrances are a hard thing to get right when buying for others! However, I love this scent. It's fresh and fruity, and it reminds me of summer. I'm a sucker for coconut everything so it is definitely me. The bottle design is also beautiful and unique. My only complaint is that the sprayer got stuck.

Bought this last week just to try. It is very affordable, beauriful glass bottle and has subtle notes. lt has a light non overpowering scent, but still a present scent. It fits the everyday perfume smells, to keep the smell going you'd need to top up 2x throughout as it doesn't linger.

I bought this a couple years ago at a sale in Auckland for only $15 and thought It smelt quite nice. To me the packaging seems like its aimed to teens to 20's and the bottle is very cute and different. Its very summery (if thats even a word!) But its a fragrance I like as Its affordable and smells quite nice

I'm on the fence with this fragrance. For me it was a blind buy. The scent is young and sweet which is fine, probably not really me as I prefer muddy sandalwood smokey scents, or light punchy citrus and cinnamon scents depending on my moood.

I found the silage was very weak and it was not long lasting at all. Not sure if it's my skin chemistry that doesn't agree with it, or if it's the make up of the product, but I wouldn't buy it again.
