This used to be my signature scent, I would still use this fragrance, as to me this is a classic. Is quite oily so it really is great wearing throughout the day.

Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Review
ISSEY MIYAKE L'Eau d'Issey, a fragrance that is what it says, Issey Miyake chose water, an essential element and source of purity, freshness and vitalty as the inspiration for his first fragrance L'eau D'Issey.
An olfactory revolution when it was first launched in 1992, it has become one of the great classics in the world of perfumery.
The olfactory signature of L’Eau d’Issey Lotus, Rose, Lily and Precious Woods. An aquatic floral with a woody trail.

Mum got me this one year for Christmas. It isn’t really a “me” scent but it surprised me. I’ve also had it for over five years and I know I should throw it out but I still like using it. It’s not really a young scent so I feel very aged when wearing it but I find sometimes that’s the mood I want. Or I feel like I’m very wealthy. Hence the “not me” scent.
I hate the smell! It’s definitely strong, in fact over powering. It’s super expensive and a quality brand, however, I personally am not a smell of the scent. It smells like some sort of flower… maybe dandilions, which I’ve never liked anyways. Quality is amazing however
Strong spring floral. Watery rose and other florals. Lasts all day. Fresh. Easy to wear on warmer spring days, no need to top up during the day. Creates like a clean aura around you. Staple forever.
Tips: Spray onto your stomach, the scent will waft up and around you all day.
My Mum brought this for me for Christmas and it is a perfume I would have never considered, I'm more of a floral sweet kind of gal (think VS Bombshell, MOR Marshmallow), so this perfume was a complete change and surprise to my usual line of scent. At first I wasn't sure if it was suitable for me, but over time it has grown on me and I use it when needing a all day scent, it is quite strong, but pleasant and you do not need much so it's longevity is top quality. It is floral, with notes of woody scent, not on the sweet side and more sophisticated. I find it refreshing and it's definitely a perfume which I'll keep as part of my collection.
Tips: I spray twice, in between my boobs and the nape of my neck. You do not need to top up during the day as it lasts from morning until evening.
I've been using this for years and absolutely love this! This has been for ever been my go to fragrance for day time.
It always makes me feel uplifted with its fresh fragrance.
Tips: a good fragrance to wear during the day
Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey is a perfume that is really special. I love the woody scent and have to stop myself from over applying as the scent is quite strong and lasting .The initial first spray makes me think it is a really light perfume so you need to apply a lot but after this initial waft of perfume dissipates I am left with a rich woody scent which does not need a lot to achieve a luxurious scent which lasts the day or night. I find this perfume really suits me and I feel really confident and special when I use this.
Tips: Apply sparingly as stronger scent than first appears.
I blind bought this online because of the rave reviews and it was a good price. I regretted it! In fact I sold it on because I couldn't wear it. My advice is don't blind buy this. It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. Alot of people love this and when I smelt it I recognized it as a scent I had smelled before. For me, it just wasn't my thing, I was after something fresh but this just wasn't sweet or feminine enough for me . We all have different tastes though so when it comes to perfume, although reviews are helpful , you should always try it for yourself.
Tips: Make sure to smell it yourself before purchasing
They say once you find a fragrance you got back to it again and again that is what this fragrance is to me. Its my go to one on a daily bases. Every now and then I got to try another one but always come back to this one. I find it just right not too strong and not too sweet but at the same time it doesn't have a musty smell.
My most favourite of all time....up until now that is.
This is the fragrance I wore as a bride, I have short dark hair and wore very copper toned makeup so this fragrance complimented that. I feel like describing it as beautiful white gold with diamonds. Very fitting for that look.
My bottle is textured glass which you still see through but is hazy. Silver top....on a side note for this bottle, make sure the bottle remains upright, a bottle I had in the past did leak at top. I can't undo the top one the bottle I have a the moment, perhaps that issue is fixed.
Described as lotus, rose, lilly, precious woods with woody under tones. For me I wouldnt describe it as that, seems more refined with delicate tones of Japanese oriental and floral combined.
It is the most substantial, dramatic, refined, unique and long lasting fragrance out of the 4 IM fragrances I have (Floral, Absolue & Nectar).
Potentially a little risky to give as a gift, it is a either Love or Not Love smell. Saying that any recipient would be so happy to receive as a gift, it says something like - you are worth something special and it's pretty good value IMO. Get a exchange card. Ideal for anyone who likes what they like, has a great sense of style and is open to the world.
I am always going to give this one a 5/5 & don't enjoy wearing this one as much as I would like to, it's a statement fragrance and I tend to keep for evening out or whenever I am dressed up a little, bit like those great heels that come for those events that a little more special.
Suit spring, summer or autumn. I don't really wear in winter, that's more about wearing my Black Opium or Narciso Rodriguez for Her.
Tips: Spray little on hair once styled.
