Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Review

When I think about elegance in a bottle I immediately think about Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey.

The bottle is a frosted tower. It isn't over the top with it's packaging because the perfume itself speaks volumes.

The scent reminds me of spring. I think about new beginnings, the spring morning dew, a meadow in the midst of giant mountains. I think about all that is good in the world. It's fair to say when I wear this perfume I go to my happy place.

It is a rosy scent with a very, very subtle earthy tone. Though the perfume itself isn't subtle at all. The perfume will stay on you for hours so you hardly need to touch up.

As it is pricey (and worth it) I only wear it on special occasions, so that I can prolong the life of my bottle.

They say once you find a fragrance you got back to it again and again that is what this fragrance is to me. Its my go to one on a daily bases. Every now and then I got to try another one but always come back to this one. I find it just right not too strong and not too sweet but at the same time it doesn't have a musty smell.

I received this as a gift (the format in which all oerfumes should arrive really) a few years ago when I was first getting into perfumes. Its really light and airy and a perfect daytime fragrance. Its one of those recognisable scents that you notice on other people - in a good way of course!

I LOVE this fragrance, It's light and fresh and I like to think it's my staple fragrance. It isn't so overpowering that you get sick of it quickly, but it's still enough that you can smell it on yourself for most of the day. I love that it comes in 2 sizes (handy!) so I have a duchess one & a purse one. Will rebuy everytime. It's always good to have a statement fragrance.

this is such a lovely and fresh fragrance for women.sadly it doesnt smell as good on all people.i used to love it for the fresh and charming scent but had to pass it to my mom and i love it on her.i always ask her what she is wearing,whenever she wears this scent.an absolute gorgeous and long lasting fragrance that is perfect for summer days. Sadly not for me and my chemistry.can definately smell lotus, lily,carnation,freesia and peony.

This is one of my favourite scents and am already on my third bottle. This lasts long on my body and have always received compliments, even from strangers in a lift or at a cafe. My husband absolutely loves this scent on me and can recognise the smell whenever I wear it on. :)

I ♥ this perfume! It has to be one of my favourites. I first smelt this scent on my mum and fell in love with it so she ended up getting it for me one birthday :)

Its a fresh, clean slighty floral scent and it is very distinctive like nothing similar I have smelt before. It is quite strong and lasts all day/seems to linger around clothes! My scarf still has a faint scent from 2 weeks ago! :)

You don't need much as a little goes a long way. Its great to wear in summer or winter as its such a fresh smell unlike some perfumes that are more suited to seasons.

Highly recommend to try it. I will definitely be buying again. :)

It is so light and breezy, perfect for summer. A light fragrance with a hint of sophistication, perfect for shopping or a summer wedding.Its my favourite, and my 28 yo daughter loves it too. There's simply no downside to this fragrance.

I absolutely love this scent. It is one of my favorite perfumes, it is just heavenly. It last for ages and you only need a couple sprays and your good to go, a definite must have. It has a very refreshing, light and floral feel to it. I will forever repurchase this product. It is perfect for events and outing i wouldn't use it as and every day perfume as quiet pricey, but hey if you can afford it, than by all means spray away.
