J'adore by Dior Review

I remeber this very vividly my twin brother presented me with it for christmas one year...was funny as this is actually what my other sister had asked for! I wasn't really into fragrances but had been considering buying one for a while and wow this was a classy one to start off what would become an addiction...

The bottle itself is simple, and classy it dispenses the product beautifull and doesn't have that 'over spray' effect. I did use it as an everyday perfume and would always be in a crowd of people and theyd take a wiff and say 'mm who smells good'. I restrained from waving my hand in the air, but I'll assume they meant me ! :)

As far as lasting ability goes, it is one of the more subtle fragrances (on my skin anyway) so i'd apply it twice throughout the day. Plus I loved the smell so much, I got a buzz from spraying it !!

Seriously though to distinguish the smell is very difficult but it can be used as an everyday perfume or give it an extra couple of sprays for the evening. Mmmm it reminds me of money and champagne...who does'nt like the smell of that?Writing this review makes me lust for j'adore again...maybe this christmas ?

I have always been such a big fan of J'adore. Its so beautiful and feminine. This fragrance is such beautiful, luxurious quality and a scent that anyone will recognise on you. This fragrance lasts ALL day/evening so a little bit goes a long way with this one. The bottle is so beautiful and iconic and will look beautiful on any dresser. For those ladies who struggle to find a luxurious fragrance ideal for evening that will last the night away.. I would give this one a go! I love this for a date night, its a very 'romantic' and feminine scent <3

I purchased the 50ml EDP from our local pharmacy for my Wedding day perfume it was about $150

This beautiful perfume holds special memory's for me every time I use it. Reminds me of the nervous and excited feelings I had walking down the isle to marry my beautiful husband, and reminds me of our first dance as husband and wife.

The perfume that I purchased myself almost 8years ago is just devine and I only use it for special occasions. I've managed to replacements once I've run out from farmers while they have a sale on. But it does last a really long time. The Scent is just so pretty! Its sweet but not so strong that is overpowering. I only need to apply the EDP once and it lasts all day.

The Bottle is just beautiful and I have kept my empty one that I purchased for my wedding day in my glory box to pass on down to my daughter one day. If you remove the cap you can still smell the perfume scent, 8years later!

The packaging was nice but didn't influence my purchase the scent sold it to me.

For the price this perfume is worth it! Totally gorgoeus and perfect for special occasions!

100% My Fave scent ever! Affordable, cute bottle and delicious smell! It lasts forever and the scent lasts all day not two seconds. I always get complimented I absolutely adore it! Give it a smell test next time your out you wont regret it! It has a summery floral scent which isn't to strong.

I own the EDT of this fragrance. It has a recognizably unique beautiful floral perfume, smells sophisticated and classy. The floral tones aren't too strong, blended perfectly to make you smell less like a walking florist. Although it's not cheap, the price is totally worth it- you only have to spritz a bit on, and it will last all night! The bottle is also unique- classy and very "Dior", it adds class to any fragrance stand.

I absolutely love this perfume and it’s one you’ll find in my small collection often.  I have bought this for myself a number of times and received it as gifts (sets or individual) since it was released and each time it never failed to take me to a wonderful place of delicious notes.  This was one of my high school perfumes; some would say it’s a waste but for me perfume is to be used. 

It's pricey yes but you really are paying for what you get and if I met a rather hasty demise tomorrow atleast I know that I didn’t waste my money.  It comes in a pristine white box with gold lettering – seriously the packaging is luxurious and nothing short of elegant.  It’s in a lovely simple round bottle (when the lid is off) with a rather tall golden top and a round clear ball with J’adore embossed inside.

One of the things I love the most about the scent is that it's quite buttery with a hint of powderiness in the notes. There is a lovely blend of very light musk, sweet citrus and florals. I find that there is a subtlety to this perfume where it's not overpowering but there is enough fragrance left behind when you walk past others.

The longevity isn’t as long as you would expect from an EDP but the subtlety of notes that lingers behind makes up for it.  For me this perfume always creates an ambiance of calm around me; I love how the scent just puts me at ease and I just feel so clean when I get a whiff of it.

Admittedly the smell of J'adore today smells different to the one I wore prancing around in the school courtyard many moons ago but I still appreciate that this fragrance is one of a kind. It's quite a popular perfume but I don't often "smell" it around. Do I get sick of the scent sometimes?  Yes but I’m spritz-happy so it’s only natural that I would however I would never say no to owning this. 

This perfume makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn.

It is somehow the perfect balance of being light and fun as well as deep and sophisticated.

Bergamot is one of the top notes I always reach for, so that is what I initially fell in love with. But wow the depth of the other floral notes is just sensational. Often perfumes will let off a bitter scent after a few hours and the fragrance evaporates, leaving behind the carrier alcohol. This his a high concentrate of fragrance, meaning not only does it last long but you don't have to worry about the 'generic stale perfume smell' coming through. Which is what you would hope for considering the price!

The first time I ever smelt J'adore, It's fair to say I fell head over heels in fragrance love. Im unsure why it stood out to me on the shelf, the bottle is nothing spectacular. Possibly just the fact is was Dior, and I was yet to try it. I'm a sucker for anything fruity, floral, and feminine and this ticked all those boxes. I wondered how I'd missed it all those times. It definitely doesnt come in cheap at $224 for the 100ml, but I didnt care, I had to have it. After much procrastinating and trying to find a cheaper alternative, nothing stood out to me like J'adore did. So now we are living happily ever after in fragrance heaven. Absolutely delightful fragrance for any female that loves to feel fresh, fun, sophisticated and sexy!!

I bought a Dior miniatures collection Duty Free on my Honeymoon mostly for another of the perfumes, but Oh my... this one became more of a favorite!

It is heavy, floral jasmine scent, feminine and soft yet I find it also a little awakening and warming. The bottle is cute as can be with slender elongated curves. Well worth the price tag

I love, love, love this perfume! J'Adore is such a light, beautiful feminine scent. I always get asked what I'm wearing when I've got this on, which is most days!

Dior make amazing perfumes, I adore most of their perfumes, but this is my absolute favourite! Dior have outdone themselves yet again with this perfume.

The glass bottle is in a delicate, curved shape with a lovely gold lid. It is totally luxury. It also looks great on my dresser, and sits pride of place.

The packaging definitely suits the fragrance, as it's so beautiful and sophisticated. I'm never without this perfume, as it would have to be my signature perfume of all time.

The fragrance is the best thing about this perfume though, it is slighty fruity yet floral and so refreshing. It is perfect for wearing during the day, as it so subtle, sophisticated and feminine. I think most ladies have heard of this perfume and love it, based on the rest of the positive reviews.

I find the quality of this perfume is fantastic, the scent just lasts and lasts. At the end of the day I can still smell this fantastic fragrance on myself.

The perfume is pricey, so I'm lucky that my fiance knows this is my favourite perfume as he got it for an anniversary present! In my opinion, although it's pricey it is definitely worth it.

A five star perfume which I will continue repurchasing for years and years to come!
