I don't think this perfume smells that nice on my skin :-( I like the smell on my clothes and other people though. Is a floral, citrus fragrance. I was given this as a gift. 50ml EDT. I would not buy and hope my friend is not reading this who gave it to me. Sorry!

J'adore by Dior Review
The incarnation of absolute femininity in an opulent fruity-floral bouquet. J’adore takes flight with a fresh accord of bergamot, opening into a vibrant armful of roses with a delicate jasmine drydown.
The sensual, curvaceous lines of its amphora bottle make this a legendary perfume.

It smells good on her, when I nick some quickly going out the door I regret it. Yes I ask and we gladly share :) It's one of those situations where it smells good in the bottle but not on me. Infact I hated it all day. Surprised its one of her faves ,lucky its safe ! Haha
I have owned this fragrance and I liked it initially but got a bit bored of it as I didn't really like how it wore after a little while. I find it a bit too floral for me and it doesn't really hold it's scent as well as some others. It could be just how it reacts on my skin. I like it but don't love it. I would probably try something new next time. Otherwise I just keep it for day time wear.
This is a very popular fragrance as it is a good oldfashioned golden floral with more modern fruity notes, a bit bland for my tastes but it does smell nice on some people. I find it to be in similar style to Elizabeth Arden's 5th avenue and Avon's rare gold.
J'Adore is a very easy to wear, non-offensive, fragrance. It is very clean smelling and almost soapy at times.
It is a classic floral scent. There are fruit notes listed though I cannot personally detect any distinct notes. It is essentially a combination of many different flowers with no one type of flower dominating over others
The scent is in a similar vein to Givenchy's Amariage in that they both have a very expensive soap smelling quality to them
J' Adore can be described as classic, 'typical perfume'. There is nothing that really separates this from many other 90's perfumes (other than being easy to wear,as noted above)
In terms of the bottle, it is luxurious looking with the gold tone. It is very distinct and I can't think of any other perfume that has the same shape.
The lasting power is decent staying on clothes for approx 6 hours. The silliage is moderate
Tips: I have read reviews that compare the current reformulation to the older scent, where most reviewers seem to prefer the old formula. I have personally only tried the old formula so can't really comment on the reformulation other than I would try before buying to make sure I got the one that I am after
I love the smell of this perfume, its a lovely light uplifting fragrance - but, I found it fades really quickly - after 2 hours of putting it on I couldn't smell at all (could just be my skin though)
I got a small sample of this which I was happy to have. The bottle itself is elegant and something that would look nice on a dressing table but you should like the perfume before you buy it.
For me this is outside my light fruity floral perfume and not something that I am planning on buying again. I'm not really a huge jasmine fan and if it was any larger I would have handed this onto a friend to try.
It does have stay power so the price is worth it. I normally spray perfume in my hair and could still smell this 12 hours later, not as hard as when first sprayed but nicely softened over the course of the day. What stands out for me at the start, jasmine and a little fruitiness. After it dries down at the beginning it becomes more heavy on floral, it's nice as the other florals move to the front of the scent. I'm not planning on a repurchase at this time as I have an abundance of perfumes that need to be loved and this kind of reminds me of a heavily perfumed soap.
Tips: Try before you buy on this one.
A gorgeous bottle filled with a subtle, yet refreshing flowery scent. I have found it to be quite long lasting and not at all overpowering, which is great when you work around other women who each wear a different perfume. Great for anyone who likes their smell to be understated.
Tips: Duty free is the place to buy, much, much cheaper.
Stunning perfume, a lovely bottle, so sexy and sweet, such a long lasting perfume, quite heavy in the jasmine and bergamot a very thick sent I loved it, but I found it quite strong for me, love it on other people, but sadly not for me, so a 50 mill bottle in EDP lasted me a long time and I brought it myself
Tips: Try perfume several times before you buy
Was given this as a gift. Far too floral sweet for my taste. The bottle is gorgeous and adds a touch of luxury but that’s the only thing I liked. It’s just too sickly for my taste. But perfume is different on every one.
