I bought the 30ml edition of this because I came across it on sale, and I thought the bottle was pretty. The small edition of this perfume has a clear bottle, with purple-coloured perfume inside, topped by a series of 4 pink heart-shaped petals. So the colours are the opposite way around to the larger bottle edition. It also comes with a little silver key and lock charm.
The design is very reminiscent of Marc Jacobs' Lola perfume, which I also think looks very pretty. But does not seem like a very original design from Bieber.
Things did not go so well the first time I tried to use the perfume. I did not realise how the topper worked and I tried to pull all four petals up from the bottle - but they would not budge! It turns out only the top two are supposed to come off. I eventually figured it out!
Once accessed, the perfume is easy to spray on. It has a sweet, if not very distinct, scent. To me it does not smell like much of anything. I find that I have to spray on quite a lot of this perfume to get the same level of scent that I get with just 2 - 3 sprays of other perfumes. The scent is just generically sweet and inoffensive. There nothing distinctive about it. However, the scent is appropriate for Bieber's target market.
I really like this perfume and I like super sweet scents. However this perfume will not be for everyone, as it is sickly sweet. You don't need much of it and the scent does last for a long time, it is definitely meant for young teenagers who often go for that kind of scent.
