Lancome La Vie Est Belle Reviews

I love LOVE this one. I smelt it months ago & obsessed about it for months & months until I finally picked up a bottle as part of a gift set the other day. I feel so beautiful when I wear this. im no expert on perfume scents but I always seem to detect abit of spice along with the sweetness of this perfume when i first put it on. It then settles down to a nice powdery feel that seems to last all day on me. I wouldnt bother with the shower gel (this smelt nothing like the perfume) or the body lotion. The lotion had the same smell but my husband didn't feel it enhanced the wear at all.

This is such a beautiful scent that lingers for ages! I received a little bottle of this as part of the Lancôme GWP and of course I ripped into it straight away because It was perfume. And I almost ran back to purchase the full bottle. (If it wasn't for the impatient 16 month old I would of)

I must be getting older I thought after I had put some on and sat smelling this scent. I was a typical oriental nothing too floraly type of fragrance wearer and this is nothing like that.

I can smell patchouli with hints of pear and the man of the house said he can smell vanilla. This fragrance is very feminine and pretty I think the pink colour of the actual fragrance is very fitting being so girly and feminine.

The scent doesn't really change during the day like some fragrances do with different notes coming through. This has stayed the same from first spray and it has lasted all day. I also got a wee bit on my scarf my scarf has since gone through the wash and I can still smell it just as intense as before it went in the wash so be warned if your not overly fussed on it be mindful of clothing. I cannot wait to do the 4 hour round trip to purchase the full sized bottle of this.

For me, this perfume is a happy medium between a sweet and sophisticated scent, it is just a very pretty scent. I wear it more often as a day scent as I feel like it's a bit too sweet for a night out, however it would be perfect for a date night fragrance.

I've always found it really unappealing when people have described scents as powdery, but with this scent I understand what they mean, it is definitely a powdery scent and to me it screams vanilla and patchouli with a hint of pear and jasmine. It reminds me a lot of Flowerbomb, but I prefer this one as it has a lot more oomph.

It lasts all day, which is a must for me! I can still smell it on my clothes as if it was freshly sprayed at the end of the day. I have a little 20ml travel spray of this and have recently picked up the 30ml bottle when Kirks were having a 30% off sale. The bottle is gorgeous, so elegant and feminine, I don't have any others quite like it. Definitely one of my top fragrances of the moment!

I was walking through the mall when someone was spraying this scent on anyone who was interested in trying it, I quite liked it then smelt it on one of my good friends and that cemented it.

It comes in a beautifully simple and classy bottle. The smell is so feminine, luxurious but great for everyday wear. My usual perfume is Christian Dior hypnotic poison so this is a great alternative especially in summer.

This is one of those perfumes that has been compared to Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb many times (much like Pink Happiness Delicate moments-Revlon.)

I can't compare the two having never tried Flowerbomb.

La Vie Est Belle is a very strong, almost mid 90's type of perfume. Despite having gourmand notes, I do not find this similar to the majority of candy like perfumes currently on the market.

At times this does have a fairly synthetic type of smell. Overall though, I would describe this perfume as having a scent like burnt sugar-almost cloying, but somehow still pleasant.

This is a very elegant and soft fragrance, it has a subtle sweet scent. It is very similar to Flowerbomb, the only difference i find is that Flowerbomb has a much stronger floral scent compared to La Vie Est Belle which is more subtle and gentle in it's tone of floral scent. A great perfume to wear everyday, would make a great gift, or for that special occasion.

I really like this perfume! Think its a fab alternative to Viktor & Rolfs Flowerbomb.. Nice to have something different as everyone has V&R's perfume
