I'm the type where if an original comes out I tend to stick to it. When my sister gave this to me I recall making a face as if to say "you're kidding me right"? I'm so glad she ignored my facials because I really enjoy this fragrance.
To me, this is a lighter and more floral version of Tresor but I would even go as far as to say that they're still quite different where you wouldn't really know they're from the same family unless you know both fragrances inside out. The fragrance projects just enough sweetness, musk and floral notes to leave a beautiful scent on the skin.
Tresor in Love is great for those who find Tresor too strong or too mature though personally I think Tresor is flat out sophisticated. I love the packaging for the Tresor line - seriously they've got it right - well almost. Tresor in Love is a tall timeless glass bottle with a black fabric rose just beneath the lid. I'd really like to know why companies insist on plastic lids!? It looks like glass but alas it's just a weighted piece of plastic.
The dry down is perfect - true to the first spritz and even though it has a gentle caress on the skin it still packs enough punch to let the person next to you know that you put on one of your best perfumes today. I had the 50ml EDP which lasted me over 6 months with almost daily use (note: I'm a happy spritzer) - my sister had bought it from Life Pharmacy for over $140. I feel that there's room for both Tresor and Tresor in Love in anyone's collection.
I usually do not like powdery perfumes, they give me a headache. But this one is different, it’s a gorgeous peach scent with a hint of a powdery note to it but not over powering at all. It’s so feminine and pretty. Would be a lovely scent to wear around the office or work in general. Love it so much!!
