I was really excited to see this in the BBBE box and got Revive, pure essential oils of lime, grapefruit and orange. I love the packaging and the screw lid tin which means you can put it away or take it away with you. The citrus scent smelled divine and I was really excited to use it. But I was so very disappointed. Once the wick was lit though, there was no sign of the lovely fragrant smell that wafted when it was unlit. I waited and waited but all I got was a waxy smell and nothing more. So disappointed that it didn't live up to my expectations, I definitely won't be buying this again.

Ok this little candle is amazing, I received the Pohutukawa scented candle in the NZ brands BBBE, as much as I love beauty products I think this is an awesome addition to the beauty box.
This comes in a small silver tin with a screw top lid it has a red coloured label on it that matches in with the tin and red flowers from a Pohutukawa tree.
The scent reads citrus, berries and spice and this is exactly what it is, especially the berries and spice. It says on the tin 18 hours burn time. Well I have had this going 18 hours and I'm pretty sure I could easily squeeze another 5 hours out.
After an hour of burn time I get a berry and spice scent lingering in the kitchen. We have a rather large kitchen and dining area so it can take a while for a scented candle to come to life. The scent isn't overly strong or overpowering it's quite mellow, I do prefer stronger scents so this might be perfect if unlike me, you prefer the not so strong scents. I really do adore the scent but just wish it was a tad stronger. It lingers in the room for about 30 minutes after I stop burning it.
A lovely candle but unsure if I will repurchase.
I received one of these in the Best beauty box ever, I am a big candle fan so getting another candle to add to my collection makes me so happy! I received Revive which has a citrus scent of Orange, grapefruit and lime, combined they smell so refreshing and really open up your senses. The smell of this candle really boosts your mood!
It comes in a beautiful tin, which I have never seen before and a twist lid, I like the idea of being able to carry this in my bag and travel with this.
As much as I love the scent of this candle, when its lit, it doesn't travel very far. The fragrance is very light unless you're up close to the candle.
Overall I wont be purchasing this candle in the future unless the scent is made stronger.
I love the packaging. I like that the size is small enough to take with you but big enough to burn for a decent amount of time. The lid means you can keep the candle nice while in transit, but also means if you leave it out you can prevent dust from getting on he candle. I took mine away with me on holiday and it added a beautiful scent to the hotel room, I hardly got though much of it while I was away due to the slow burning nature of the candle- such great value. I wouldn't say the scent is amazing, however I would highly recommend this candle for the travel purpose :)
Tips: Take it on tour
Before I received this in our BRBB NZ brands, I never knew that this exsisted. So glad I know now! The scent I received is called Kitchen. It is a blend of Bergamot, lemongrass and rosemary. Such a fresh fragrance, fill my whole apartment.
The candle come in a gorgeous blue and white tin that fits with my decor. I sit the tin on a glass coaster and light it.
They say it will burn for 18 hours, I havent had it going for that long, but it seems that it will last that lenght of time. Good value for money.
These candles in a tin are available in a variety of different fragrances. I am keen to try more of these.
I've loved burning this candle, the packaging is so cute. It is a small candle in a cute tin. I have this in the scent pohutakawa, it smells very christmasy and spicy. I have this burning for a couple of hours at a time, as I find that is all I need for the scent to waft through our living area. I think it is a nice treat to use, but I am used to purchasing larger candles, which work out to be a bit more economical.
I received this as part of the NZ Brands Beauty Box. I have to admit I am not one for burning scented candles, I prefer incense.
The scent I received was Pohutukawa. Upon opening the cute little tin, with pink patterning, I could small the scent immediately. It is a sweet, subtle scent, and is not overpowering. It reminded me of pomegranate, which I like.
The candle burnt well, although the wick was a little short which made it a bit tricky to light. The flame was slow and steady, and there was plenty of candle left after an hour. The tin was warm, but certainly not too hot to handle while the candle was burning.
Tips: The scent given off was very subtle. You have to stick your nose quite close to the candle to detect the scent, which may make it too subtle for those seeking a stronger smelling candle.
This was such a neat addition to the New Zealand BBBE.
I got the Green/Blue labeled tin in 'Kitchen' which the scent was Lemongrass. And what an amazing smell this is! Very citrus.
Can we talk about how cute the tin is?! Really it's not very practical as the tin does get hot after it has been burning for and hour or two. Keep out of reach of kids. But the tin is such a cool idea, I really love it. Screw top lid.
The candle itself when lit doesn't fill the room with the scent but for a small candle it does release a pleasant scent in the area the candle is. Once you blow it out though I find the fragrance to be stronger.
This candle turns to liquid after half an hour of burning so it's not ideal to take it to another room once lit. I have this candle in my bedroom but it really would make the perfect addition to the kitchen or bathroom :)
I've been burning it for 2 hours everyday for 4 days now and have over half the candle left. For $18 I think it's value for your money.
I received the "Kitchen" candle in the NZ Brands beauty box, such a lovely surprise! I hadn't heard of Living Light beforehand.
First of all I love the packaging, it's different to your typical glass candle packaging and it's a decent size. The labelling is simple and adds a simple nice touch to your decor.
The scent is really good, when opening the lid you're hit with a lovely smell which is quite perfect for getting rid of unwanted smells in the kitchen which is what I have been using it for. While it is lit, it gives off the smell a little bit more & filled the room nicely...bearing in mind my kitchen is quite small.
I love using this candle for home use. To be honest, I wouldn't personally use this for travelling unless I knew I wasn't going to be lighting it a lot. The whole candle turns to liquid after being lit for about 10-20mins which 1: makes the tin a little hot to touch, and 2.I wouldnt trust that the liquid would not tip out of the tin. If you werent going to light it up much then it would be nice to travel with..just take the lid off and let the scent of the wax fill your room. Another little thing I found a little bit annoying...it takes longer to light second time around then even longer 3rd time around...the wick seems to turn into a black clump and doesnt light very easily.
I recieved this candle as part of the Best Beauty Box ever. I have purchased candles from living light before as they have some gorgeous scents in their range. This wee delight is no exception! I recieved the pohutakawa scent which is a mix of citrus, spice and berries. While it is a sweet scent it somehow avoids being cloying. It also has amazing longevity for such a cute wee candle!
Unfortunately I found with this candle (and other candles in this tin format) that the wax leaks out the base of the tin, which meant I got candle wax all over my table! I would suggest that you burn candles like these ones on top of a saucer or similar to avoid this.
Would definately recommend living light candles!
