With great anticipation, I drew a nice hot bath and crumbled the macaron-esque bubbleroon under the tap. The citrus scent was lovely and refreshing and nicely scented the house. The bubbles on the other hand were nearly non existent! Bit of a let down after having such a great bath with the unicorn horn!

Tips: Some lush bubble bars I can use half of, this wouldn't be one I would try and split
Super stoked to receive this in the last vault opening a couple of months ago. I finally got to use it at a recent hotel stay. Easy to use. followed instructions to crumble it under running water. It didn't easily fall away as I would have expected. You really had to work at it like mixing butter into flour. It smelt beautiful citrusy and reviving. Looked gorgeous too, beautiful sunset colours. Orangle, yellow, pink gorgeous to look at and satisfying to soak in.
I didn't get any bubbles which I was a bit disappointed in but it looked so pretty I can't complain. Certainly a lovely way to soak away your stress and indulge a little.
I would definitely repurchase.
Tips: You will want to crumble this good, work through fingers to mix well with running water. If you can use both hands to crumble it, will make it easy work.
I grabbed this Lush Citrus are Doing it for Themselves Bubbleroon in one of the Beauty Review Vault hauls as I love having baths and Lush. It’s very fragrant of sweet citrus which smelt divine. The bubbleroon looked like a thick macaroon bathbomb, with a bright red colour.
I followed the instructions on the package, where I crumbled the bubbleroon in my hands in running water in the bathtub to get the bubbles going. It easily crumbled, and the bubbles started forming on the top and the water turned neon pink, it looked very pretty. Once I filled the bathtub, I hopped in relaxed. The scent relaxed me instantly, but the bubbles disappeared, and that was disappointing. I continued to stay in for the rest of bath time though because I enjoyed the scent. After I got out and dried myself, my skin felt supple and moisturised, which is what I expect from a Lush product.
I won’t use this Bubbleroon again and I won't recommend it to others, because it doesn’t bubble like it’s supposed to.
Tips: Exfoliate the body before getting for smooth and supple skin.
Ah Lush, how I love thee but sadly this one just missed the mark for me. Don't get me wrong it smell delicious as do almost all Lush products, those beautiful citrus notes filling my bathroom along with a wondrous pink hue to my tub water...but I was missing the bubbles in a big way. I followed the instructions of crumbling away under my running warm water, but the pay off was minimal. At least I had enough bubbles in one patch of my bath to be able to bring to my chest and cover the tops of my breasts. Certainly not the mouth watering array of bubbles I was expecting and hoping for. In saying all of this I did only use half of the bar as this is what I use (in fact even less sometimes) with other Lush bubble bars. I think for the price you pay I would expect to get more than just 1 bath out of the Bubbleroon, so for this reason I probably wont re-purchase often. I will say that the my skin felt fantastic afterwards, the Shea butter definitely came to the party and helped to redeem the disappointing bubbles. I felt lovely and silky smooth after my soak & it really did smell delightful.
Tips: Use the whole bar if you are wanting an actual bubble bath & not just a pretty smelling soak.
