Miss Dior Cherie Eau de Parfum Review

Just to let you all know that this is my first perfume review so I will try and be as informative as possible for you all :) Lets begin...

This is my current perfume of the moment and Im happy to say that Im not dissappointed with it!! My perfume prior to this was the Flora by Gucci (I have not written up a review for this perfume as I cant remember exactly what it smelt like to give a good, honest review but I will say it is one that I will repurchase!) but once this had run out I was just curious to see what else was out there on the market. I picked up this one (in eau de parfum) as I thought the packaging was quite cute but mainly because my mum's signature scent is the Ja'dore by Dior and she just wore that so well so I thought to give this one a go. A lot of people said to me that this is a nice younger version of the range, they were right! I find that this perfume has a nice, young, elegant yet individual scent.

I only wear this when Im going out ie for a special occasion, I do only spray this once but everytime I wear this I always get compliments and throughout the night I can still smell the odd hint of it here and there. So the longevity of this perfume I think it is well worth the money, especially considering Dior has been around for sometime now so I beleive that they know what they are doing and will only deliver top quality!

When I try a perfume in a store I honestly can not sit there and tell you what the top notes and the base notes are. I believe you do have to be trained in this but if you are someone who is wanting a perfume that is simply elegant but subtle with a bit of a difference than this is for you! It actually wasnt until I read the info about this perfume on this page that I have begun to understand why I love this perfume soo much! It has a slight sweet scent, but is not sickly and its only got a very gentle hint of spice. If you like unique flavours such as Patchouli, Tangerine, Wild Strawberry and Pink Jasmine than what are you waiting for? In my eyes you wont be dissappointed!

Go Dior, you still have it after all these years, from one generation to another ;)

I was in the perfume section searching for a new fragrance. My fiance told me he wished I would buy the new Miss Dior parfum so he could pretend he was waking up to Natalie Portman in the morning. Let's just say I was offended and reluctantly walked around with the scent. However hours later I ended up liking this new scent over the other ones I had tried. I ended up buying this perfume and still remind my now husband the reason I have this perfume on my dresser. I have had many compliments on this scent and find the smaller bottle doesn't weigh my hand bag down. This perfume is not my current perfume anymore but I occasionally wear this if I go out for great memories and a gorgeous scent.

This is absolutely my most favourite scent of all time. It's light, sweet, almost floral, feminine and delicious. I've never been one for super girlie smells, but this is my go-to perfume (when I have it... Which right now I don't).

I got this perfume in a sample size from an airport duty free along with other samples of perfume, but this was definitely my favourite smelling one

This is also a fave of mine and one i will go back and buy super girly and feminine again great for someone in her 20's 30's its such a cute bottle too and its best worn layered up with the body wash, body lotion and perfume the smell lasts all day and is a head turning fragrance.

This is such a girly scent. Is such a cute bottle with the bow. Made me feel very feminine and girly when I wore it. While not exactly being 'mature' scent it made me feel quite fancy! I only have a few spritz left in my bottle sadly!

Dior has a lot of lovely scents. Miss Dior Cherie is a beautiful sweet scent that i enjoy wearing throughout the day as its not too overpowering but it gives off a big enough scent that when you walk into a room others notice! It also is in a gorgeous bottle that looks delightful on your perfume shelf!

I have to mention this review is for the 2005 formula (the original). Why does it matter? Well, Dior has decided in their infinite wisdom to reformulate this many, many times to the point that there are now multiple online guides to work out which edition of the perfume you are buying!

Review:This has an amazing sweet smell, that is distinct from all the other scents on the market. The 2005 version has caramel popcorn notes that lend it a fun, youthful feel. The other key notes are orange essential oils; and patchouli.

Quite often, this perfume is compared to Chanel Mademoiselle. I don't find the similarity that close personally but then again, I have only tried testers of the latter.

If perfume was a drug, This perfume would be my habit.

Let's get the most important factor out of the way, you have to love a sweet smell to love this perfume. Those strawberry and caramel notes are deliciously sweet and linger throughout the wear. Its sweet without being too young. I.freggin.love.this.perfume.

My only complaint is that it costs me roughly the price of a kidney to fulfill my wearing needs. Im a heavy handed sprayer but its never too much for this scent.
