Nicki Minaj Onika Review

this is definitely one of my favourite perfumes and i wear it almost every day. i love the sweet element and it is a nice subtle smell. i highly recommend! the only downfall is that it doesnt last very long on my skin and i feel that after about 3-4 hours i need to reapply

I. Love. This. Perfume.

I am yet to find another scent that is similar to this. I'm literally the worst at identifying scents but to me this is a deliciously sweet pear scent with hints of mandarin and musk. It screams summer to me. Don't let the fact that it's a celeb perfume put you off testing in store, this one is a much more mature/sultry scent than the others in her range.

As with all Nicki Minaj perfumes I've owned, the bottle tests my patience. It's such a top heavy bottle and is constantly falling over on my dresser when I put it back down, but it looks ugly without the lid, so I put up with it. Haha.

I didn't think I had a signature scent, but I've since realised it's this. It's what I wear to work and for occasions where I can't decide what else to wear, this is always a good fall back. It's one of the only scents I can still smell on myself at the end of the day, which I love. I've nearly finished up a 100ml bottle in 9 months, and that's with having numerous other perfumes that I alternate through, because I douse myself in it knowing it's not overly expensive :)

The best way I can describe the scent of this fragrance is Pure Seduction in a Bottle. Its that good.

When I first smelt it I fell in love. When I walked into Farmers I could smell so many different scents due to all the oil infusers and other perfumes that had been sprayed in the store but the scent of Onika really stuck out for me, so I searched and smelt every perfume in the store til I found it and when I did, I literally got all jelly in the knees haha.

Im not that good at describing what the scent is but it is definitely a more sultry scent compared to the other Perfumes by Nicki Minaj

Recently I walked into farmers and noticed the amazing smelling scents and i knew i had to buy a new perfume that day! I found this one and fell inlove but i had the sales consultant show me so many different one but they all did nothing for me. I keept finding myself drawn back to this. So i had to get it!

I find it super hard to descride sents but I think its quite fruity but not over powering at all.

I would definatly re purchase again, Im just a little bummed i only purchased the smaller bottle but i wanted to make sure i LOVED it before buying a big bottle

I picked this bottle up from a fragrance sale at Highbrook . Every quarterly they have a huge sale out there. It was there that I picked up this perfume. I’ve always been a fan of nicki minaj her fashion, music and incredible make up looks.

This bottle is so cute . It’s a small figure of nicki herself with her black hair on. I’ve had both the 30 ml and 50 ml bottle. This scent is fresh with a mix of florals and sweets well balanced .

Price wise it’s fair. One 50 ml bottle lasted about two years with daily usage. It lasts for ages as . If your into sweet scents with a floral twist this one is definitely for you. It’s great for any young person.

I have 3 of Nicki Minaj's perfumes and this one is by far my favourite. I love the bottle , i love the scent and i love how it lasts the whole day! The bottle has some sort of elegance compared to her other bottles, it is more classy with the black lob (long bob) and black and gold detail detailing on the top compared to her others bottles that have the crazy colours which i also like. This perfume is very wearable as its a not too out there smell and i like to wear this daily. I would 100% defiantly buy this again.

walk into Farmers with my list of high end designer perfumes I wanted to sniff. I’m on the hunt for a new perfume, and I’d taken down some suggestions from BR ladies. After walking around for literally 25 minutes sad, nauseated and confused as to why none of the scents were cutting it for me, there she was, like a gift from god himself, in the corner, lonely and neglected - Onika. Running over I picked up her head, pressed the nozzle up against my nose and took a good whiff...

….. WOW….

You know that moment where you experience something you’ve been waiting all your life to experience, and you get that rush of endorphins running all over your body and you get mad tingly all over and you cannot contain your excitement? I imagine it’s what it’s like holding your new born child for the first time… Yea that was my reaction to the scent of this perfume. I don’t even know where to begin!

It smells very similar to Pink Friday and Minajesty, so if you are a fan you will love this! But this scent is something else. It smells like hard candy!! Imagine sticking your head in a bag of Starbursts, that is the scent. It is very fruity, but also has a floral kick to it, as well as the tiniest hint of musk It’s so so so sweet, but not sickly even the slightest bit. It’s very pretty, very feminine, elegant, classy, sassy, sexy, fun, youthful, ugh I could go on all day. It’s just such a beautiful scent. It’s perfect for summer and spring and is very youthful.

It smells like pears, sugar, mandarin and bananas, apples and strawberries - although there are no strawberries, apples or bananas in it. Like I said - imagine a bag of starbursts.

It’s perfect for everyday, everywhere use. Whether you’re on a date, at the office, out to lunch it is perfect.

Then of course there is the bottle! This definitely has a more elegant, more sophisticated bottle then her previous perfumes. It’s more grown up, so fits the mature lover. I love the black which definitely stands out amongst the mainly yellow potion perfumes I own. And it definitely is an eye-catcher - people are more interested in seeing the bottle, than they are seeing me when they walk into my room.

I do have a bone to pick and that is that it doesn’t last on the skin at all. The maximum would be one hour. It does last on my shirt for a couple days but only if you purposely hold it to your nose and smell it. It makes me so so so sad because I love this! But I have to purchase roller balls to carry with me everywhere because staying power is POOR!

As soon as I opened the box, took the top off and smelt this fragrance, I was in love!

With notes of Pear, starfruit, mandarin, water lily, orchid, osmanthus, sugar cane, white musk and cedarwood, this perfume is super sweet without being sickly.

One of my new favourites, it's subtle, fresh and very, very sexy! Love it <3
