This was in a recent beauty subscription box and I hadn't rushed into trying it as I hardly ever get headaches so it sat on my dresser for a few weeks, I was almost asking for a headache just so I could try it! Well as the say there is a first and a last time for somethings and this is one.
The frosted brown glass jar is nice. Simple but nice. The top of the jar is big enough to get a small scoop out. (For me the end of a teaspoon I hate fingers in pots/jars) it's a very thick cream almost hard.
So I scoop a reasonable amount out I had a bit of a cold so thought I would rub some around my sinus area and on my temples. Wow wow wow that intense peppermint scent followed by that cooling sensation reminds me exactly like that anti inflammatory that comes in the purple tub.
Wowzers it's a bit too much for my face and made my eyes water slightly even though I tried not to get it too close to my eyes. I had to get a face cloth and wipe it away. As for it working nope still had a slight headache and blocked sinus.
I won't be using it on my face again and will use the rest on my partners back and shoulders.
I picked this up in my recent Healthpost order. I suffer from migraines and will give anything a try to see if it can help.
It comes in a 20ml glass pot with a screw on lid. It is a thick white cream and smells very strong of peppermint.
It says to rub on your temples, neck etc or anywhere you feel tension. You only need a tiny amount with this. I've been using it on the back of my neck and my temples.
It is so strong it makes my skin tingle and burn. It is far too strong for me and it is definitely uncomfortable instead of soothing like it should be.
It doesn't lessen my migraines or headaches at all and I will not continue using it.
