This is indeed a lovely fragrance but turned out a bit powerful for my own personal tastes, (maybe i put too much on) but I'd still buy it for a friend who was more inclined to the spiciness of this one, I guess I'm just more of an Angel girl. It has a very strong, spicy oriental musk to it and is definitely not for the faint of heart. The great thing about it is that it lasts and lasts and lasts. There is very little fading with this one it just keeps coming back at you a few hours later.

Tips: Use very little as this packs a punch and you can overdo it quite easily and theres nothing worse than putting people off due to perfume so maybe keep this one for a special occasion rather than day to day wear, but the good thing is it lasts for ages

A winter fragrance
I have this fragrance but can only wear it in the winter as its heavy and sweet. To over powering in the warmer weather, but totaly delicious in the cooler months. It lasts all day and the body cream is divine!

Sleek
This bottle is quite unique, not like many I have seen before. But is very user friendly. Due to no lid as such it makes for super easy use. it holds well in the hand and is easy to take on those one-two night trips away. The smell is sweet. When I first got this I was in love however have found it doesn't last long on my skin, thus I apply it more often than I probably should be. I not long ago ran out and find it a bit of a bother as the bottle itself is refillable however there are only limited places that refill them and none near me. In my mind if refilling is an option then buying another bottle because its closer isn't justifiable. If it was more easily accessible as a refill then it would have improved my review

I like the small, but I don't really think the smell is for me, I think its for more older people, I really like the colour of the bottle and been able to hold it nicely

Different
I blind bought this untested as I am a fan of Thierry Mugler's Angel, and had high hopes for anything from Thierry Mugler. I can't say I am huge fan of this though.
The most dominant note in Alien is an overpowering jasmine. It's difficult to tell what natural jasmine smells like, having never smelt the actual flower, though there is something very synthetic about this scent. It almost smells like a cheap scent you would purchase for $20 at a pharmacy.
Alien is a very strong perfume, so you have to use it sparingly to avoid giving yourself a headache.
The bottle itself is very original and looks like a work of art. That alone is the only reason I have held on to my bottle of this and not given it away.
Tips: The positives of this are: -It's has good lasting power -It's different to a lot of other scents on the market. - If you are a fan of Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Aura, you might like this as they are very similar - The price is too high for it to be a blind buy, so I would suggest trying a sample first

Synthetic jasmine metallic mess
Metallic synthetic jasmine bathroom spray is all I get from this. Just horrendous it's honestly like one of those jasmine scented loo blocks. I constantly smell it on others too.

Not the best Angel perfume that Mugler has produced, was really disappointed with it. The smell kinda went a bit off after awhile, the original Angel is still the best.

Got it as a gift
perfume as a gift is so risky! as everyones taste is differen.t I got given this but its just not my thing. Its quite woody which is my least favorite scent. I tried to learn to love it but i ended up giving it away. But other than that the lasting power of it was amazing!

After Angel, this is pretty interesting... has a sweet but mysterious kind of smell.. i liked it alot... Although i think they should have stuck with the original Angel.. the baby blue and the star bottle were alot more appealing... but saying that, i think alot of people would like this. if you prefer a very feminine smell with a bit of a woody undertone... i would say you have a winner in this one... Not bad at all but not a smell i would want people to remember me by...
Tips: Always trial a perfume on you for a day before buying... you will only know what it will smell like on you at the end of the day...perfume settles and mixes with your own bodies chemicals which is why the same perfume can smell different on everyone..
