This perfume i have used for years.. until i found another that suited me better later on... i loved the bottle.. the colour of the perfume inside and the fact that you could get the bottle refilled and pay less for your perfume than buying a whole new bottle and having to pay for the bottle all over again. The smell is sweet yet not too sweet.. has a wonderful smell and makes you want to smell it all day.. its a mix between a sweet and powdery smell i would say... i love it... and would suit those who go for the more extra feminine scents ... I would recommend to my friends for sure..

Tips: Dont ever rub the inside of your wrists together after spraying on perfume to test... as this destroys the smell and changes it a bit.. and leave it on one whole day to see how it reacts to you and if you like the smell.. perfume smells different on everyone because our skins have acids in them that make them react with perfumes..
Angel was the perfume that started the use of gourmand notes in perfumes. It has held its appeal over time as it does this better than other fragrances.
Other than being well blended and unique smelling, Angel has amazing longevity and sillage. These qualities give it a big tick in my book of what I look for in a scent.
It is a heavy scent, so it is more ideal for winter rather than warmer climates.
Tips: I have read mixed opinions of this online so would recommend testing this before investing in a larger bottle. 'Stitch Brand No 4', alternative to Angel, is a dead ringer for Angel. This doesn't have any lasting power though is a good tester if you want to know what to expect from Angel
This has got to be the most amazing perfume ever. I like that it has no floral notes to it. I've only used the eau de parfum as I really do like a heavy scent that lasts all day, and this is it. They also have a beautiful shower gel if you want to fragrance layer. Aside from the smell that packaging is so cute.
Tips: Try before you buy as I know a lot of my friends don't like Angel.
I was given a bottle of this fragrance about a year ago. I dont mind it as it is very plesant but it isn't my favorite fragrance. It is very strong so you only need one or two sprays for it to last all day. I could definitely see it as someones signature fragrance, kind of like Samsara or Opium. Would be great as a night fragrance, use it to make a statement.
I have been using this product for a few years now and I love it. The smell is delicious, I have had many comments, all positive whenever I wear this and I find the smell lasts most of the day. Although this is a little more on the pricey side, it's totally worth it.
Tips: If you pay the extra for a refillable bottle, once it's all gone, you can take it into places such as farmers to be refilled, and this works out much cheaper than buying a new bottle.
This perfume is honestly so amazing ( I hesitated before writing the review because that's how much I selfishly, love it) it is musky and unusual (definitely not for those who prefer lighter more floral perfumes). The bottle itself is just am added bonus.
I won a 100ml bottle of the Thierry Mugler Angel Eau de Parfum in a competition.
The bottle was a rather striking tall star shaped bottle with a large, easy to use spray nozzle on top.
I'm not an expert at describing perfume scents but this was quite a strong, spicy scent, certainly not subtle, but quite nice for what I would consider to be special occasions.
Unfortunately, within 30 mins of being on my skin it took on a chlorine smell which was really noticeable. It smelt like I'd been cleaning the bathroom or laundry - not really the scent I was going for. My skin does react like this to certain perfumes, and unfortunately this was one of them. I haven't been able to figure out which ingredient causes this reaction, but if you also find that certain perfumes react on your skin, then this may be one that you treat with caution.
Tips: Test this product on your skin for at least 30 mins and ask friends for an honest second opinion before buying it.
Fragrance is such a personal thing. This one usually falls into the love camp or the can't stand camp. I'm somewhere in between. I love stron fragrances but not of the overly sweet variety. Because Angel is so strong, sweet, almost chocolatey it takes on a life of its own if too much is used. If someone else is wearing this and they walk into a room it usually takes over. Definitely a statement fragrance and not for the faint hearted.
Tips: The shower gel and body lotion versions of these very strong fragrances can be a lighter, less overpowering option for those who like the general smell but don't want to be overpowered.
I tend to buy musky, spicy fragrances, but someone strongly recommended Angel, so I thought I'd try something different, to my expense! This is a very unique fragrance, unfortunately not for me. I think very few can carry it off. It is very strong and unlike any other fragrance I've ever smelt. So if you like to be different and have the right skin to compliment the scent, go for it. But I find it too sickly and overpowering.
Tips: As mentioned by other reviewers, test it first and get an honest opinion!
I am not a huge perfume wearer, I certainly don't wear it every day - but when I do put some one, Angel is my go-to scent, and the one that I receive the most compliments on. I love the way the spice and vanilla scents balance each other out.
