Loooove this product. Even my partner does he couldn't get over how smooth his skin was as he is an insulator so pink batts tend to get stuck in his skin. It leaves your skin feeling tight and silky (not an over exaggeration) and leaves you in disbelief. I know you can make your own but meh it's just easier to buy it. Love frank I will never go without him ever. The only con is is that I don't really like standing and waiting in the cold naked for half an hour before jumping in the shower but it is totally worth it.

I'm sorry this isn't the rave review that I have been waiting to write. This product just doesn't work for me.
I bought this product straight from the frank website (frankbody.com) for AUD $14.95 plus $4.50 for shipping although if you buy two or more shipping is free. I love the packaging, just a simple bag that lies really flat for shipping but sits up nicely on the shelf in my bathroom. It closes really well at the top so I haven't had any moisture get into it or any spillage problems.
The product itself smells amazing. It helps that I do love coffee itself and its scent too. There is also this fresh citrusy smell along with it which is amazing. My problem with the scent is that most of the time I shower in the evening so I don't really want to be perked up just as I am going to bed.
Now here is where my real problem starts, using the product. They advise that you step out of the shower for a bit to apply, and onto damp skin for it not to be so rough. Cool. So I get in the shower, get my skin wet (sorry to be a bit graphic here), then step out to apply the product. Now my bathroom isn't freezing, but I'm naked in the cool air and I'm getting a bit cold here. I apply the product which is ridiculously crumbly all over my skin, and all over the bath I'm standing in (argh for more cleaning). It's lovely. Smells good, a good scrub, but not to oily. Here is my problem, I am now expected to stand in my bath with this on for the next 5 to 10 minutes for it to dry and do its healing properties on my skin. I'm sorry, it is too cold and too boring to stand in my bath with this on for 10 minutes (or longer!!!!). So for that reason I can't really say whether it does help with stretch marks etc. But in its defence it does make your skin feel ridiculously soft, and moisturised but not oily.
So in some ways this is a winner, a reasonable price, a good scrub, and not to oily. But for me it is just too messy, too hard to apply, and the scent isn't good at night. I won't be repurchasing.
I got given this for christmas but have wanted it for agggges but couldn't justify spending $15 on something which I thought I could easily make at home. I was so wrong this is way better than anything from my pantry.
The scrub smells divine! I had the original and it made my whole bathroom smell of coffee as well as my skin for ages after I used it. I found it best to use on dry skin as wet skin makes it dissolve and its less likely to stick. Just grab a handful and rub it all over.
The waiting is the hardest part. Definitely recommend doing this on a hot day as you will need to stand butt naked for 10 minutes. And standing is necessary!! I decided to sit the first time and little granules of sugar and coffee left little dimple marks all over my butt - and it kinda hurt. I recommended taking your laptop into the bathroom and putting on a youtube video that goes for roughly ten minutes. Helps you time it and keeps you entertained :)
Then simply rinse of in the shower and voila you will now have the softest skin in the world! The fancy almond oils and orange essence are what raise this above the simple sugar/coffee scrubs I make at home and I reckon the other versions of frank would be amazing too.
Your skin is left super exfoliated but really nourished as well. As for the claims about stretch marks and cellulite, I am yet to see any results on that front but the way it makes my skin feel is glorious.
The only downfalls are the packaging and the fallout! The packaging is ridiculous, its so hard to get into and gets so wet in the shower. I think a tub would be way easier to use but thats just me. The fallout is the worst though it infuriates me seeing half the product go to waste as its more of a loose scrub than a wet one.
I think in the future I would repurchase but I really wish they'd work on making it less wasteful.
...I love this stuff! I received the original scrub as a gift from a friend who had already fallen in love with it and now I would definitely repurchase another one. There’s no mistaking the smell, it’s amazing! It makes your shower smell like a coffee percolator blew up in there :p Not so great then if you don’t like the smell of coffee...this probably isn’t for you. I follow the instructions by turning the water off, applying it, then leaving it to dry for five minutes or so before rinsing it off. Each time my skin has been the most smooth I’ve ever experienced thanks to all those natural oils, and it leaves a beautiful lasting scent too. I’ve found it especially useful this summer for targeting those extra dry spots around my elbows and knees which are especially troublesome for fake tan. It’s also great at helping remove fake tan and makes application a breeze after because of the increased quality of your skin. I’d definitely recommend trying this if you’re looking for a great scrub. The cacao and coconut ones are next on my list!
Tips: Shipping is free if you buy two from their website.
I ordered a bag of the original Frank when I had some spare cash in my PayPal account, not expecting the world, but thought it may just make me at least feel a bit better about myself. I was shocked when it arrived by the amazing smell and couldn't wait to jump in the shower and have a scrub. This product is very loose and crumbly, so you have to be careful not to lose half of it to the shower floor, but it IS a dry scrub, so that was to be expected. As I started scrubbing it into my skin (all over including my face), focusing on my thighs, chest and upper back, I could feel my skin getting smoother. I turned on my music and sang along for the 10 minute wait then cleaned the product off. Just standing under the water rinsed it so I didn't have to actually rub it off everywhere. I can't begin to describe how the almond oil leaves your skin feeling, so soft and moisturized. Also a bonus for my boyfriend afterwards too, I smell like coffee and orange :)
Tips: Use on dry skin for a more intense scrub, or add a small amount of water to make more of a paste for a softer scrub.
I have been using this product for months and I have loved all of the flavours they have brought out - especially the coconut and grape seed!
Frank comes in a cute little sachet which gives you a good few uses out of, I try to scrub once a week and I find a packet to last around 3 months.
It leaves skin feeling super soft, hydrated and smooth which is the reason I have kept purchasing it. However, after continued use I have not noticed any difference in the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks that it claims to target. It is also a super messy application, you'll find the scrub all over your shower.
It is reasonably priced with the editions ranging from $15-$18 Australian dollars plus $5 for postage to New Zealand. If you purchase two or more Frank's you receive free postage. I have found mine get delivered within 7 working days of placing the order.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone wanting an exfoliator as it leaves the skin feeling so lovely, the coffee smell is divine too!
Uncle Frank has come into my life just more than a month ago and shower-times have now been turned into dirty fun times! :)
I have stretch-marks on the sides of my butt, lots of cellulite (luckily not dimples) on my thighs and some acne scarring on my back so I was pretty keen to jump on the Frank band-wagon because I have a good deal of fixing up needed, but what sold me was seeing the most amazing before and after photos of acne clearing! Get me some Frank now!
I use Frank head to toe, on my face right down to the souls of feet. I like to give myself a quick washup with just ordinary shower gel to remove the dirt of the day from my body, rinse off, and then its time to play with Frank.
I use about a teaspoon size (maybe even less) for my face and scrub gently concentrating on the most prominent acne areas and then down my neck. A little trully goes a long way when using Frank. I use about half a hand full for the rest of my body and like to specifically concentrate on my thighs and lower back. I give those area a good 1 minute rub, then just a few seconds on the rest of my body. I wait 5 mins (I know you're suppose to wait 15 mins but its winter so no can do!) then rinse myself and oh my stars my skin is soft as a babies bum.
Using it the first time was al ittle scary to have these coffee granules scraping away my skin and the salty, orangey, coffee taste (when it gets on your lips) is something to get use but quite pleasant. I'm quite impressed that a little goes a long way because after a month and using it twice a week I havent even finished half of the bag. That to me is great value for money!
After using it for more than a month I can see a difference in the intensity of my stretch marks as my skin doesnt have those ripples anymore just the white lines, and my cellulite and is not as bad when I squeeze the skin on my thighs.
I'm so happy with the results I have thus far and definitely recommend Frank if you have body issues you would like corrected, or even just for a refreshing skin experience.
Tips: Take photos on your body before using Frank so you can keep track of the transformation of your skin. Its a slow process so having the before photos will motivate you that its working slowly.
I only use it every 4 days because using it every day will strip the natural oils and moisture out of your skin, so be wise on how often you use this.
Loved using this to scrub and exfoliate, especially before/after putting tan on! Great for getting rid of dry flaky skin. Unfortunately I think this blocked our drains so I can’t keep using it! Had to use some pretty strong drain cleaner to get rid of it!
