Frank Body Scrub

I had been umming and arring over this product for months. I tried a homemade coffee scrub and wasn't impressed. I am so glad I finally gave it a go. First impressions of actual scrub I struggled with as it didn't foam or have creamy base however i persevered.

This stuff makes my skin beyond baby skin soft, reduces pores and leaves my skin G L O W I NG. Its like a facial but way cheaper, its my twice weekly luxury whilst having a bath.

There are a few cons but I am happy to put up with because this stuff works

Cons The well known mess! Smell: I love the smell of coffee but the aftermath smells very much like stale coffee grounds. Only available online ex Australia, however despite this it arrives super quick (around five days). In true Frank style super trendy packaging.

Packaging: Scrub comes in foil lined snap lock paper bag. I find it very hard to close when my hands are wet and covered in product. Also can't keep it in shower.

We have all heard the hype around this product, and personally, i think Frank led the way when it came to coffee scrubs, and many brands have since followed suit. Lets face it, this brand is populour, and it must be for a reason.

Well, firstly the packaging is simple and understated. It comes in what looks like a brown paper bag, with not much on the front except a pink frank sticker. The back of the bag has all the other bits and pieces such as the ingredients. One thing i do like about frank, is how they word their text. Its creative, and i love it. The bag is lined with a foil seal, which of course keeps the product fresh, and keeps it from seeping through. It also has a resealable opening which again, helps with keeping the scrub fresh.

The scrub, might not be exactly what you would expect. Firstly, it smells amazing. Like coffee with a sweet citrus hint. Yum! I don't drink coffee, but i love the smell of it. The scrub is actually quite loose and dry. Don't get me wrong, its is packed full of oils and things, but its not a wet mix which i think would surprise some people.

Because of this dry mix, this scrub does make a mess in the shower because there is a lot of fall out. So the best technique is to apply a little bit at a time. I find this wastes less too.

I love how this scrub makes my skin feel. It feel so smooth, but you can also feel a slight (ever so slight) oil residue which once dried off, leaves y skin feel ah-mazing. I can't believe how much i have fallen for Frank.

The only negative thing i have to say is i have noticed any change in my lumps and bumps, but honestly i think the only thing that can change that is diet and exercise, so im not surprised.

I am in love with Frank; Frank and I shower together regularly... and my boyfriend showers with him too! I love how the brand has chosen to market themselves by giving their scrub a male persona named "Frank", and let's me frank... he's quite the charmer!

I love how Frank is made using natural and naturally derived ingredients and as he puts it "I only test on babes". The Brand itself has really grown since I first purchased and now Frank features a full range of caffeinated skin care!

Frank promises to scrub away dry, flaky skin and target pesky skin conditions like cellulite, stretch marks, eczema. He wasn't lying! I suffer a lot from contact dermatitis due to the nature of my work, and I was already prone to eczema since childhood; I was so impressed that even after just one scrub my redness was reduced! I noticed a change in my stretch marks also as they became a lot less noticeable. All in all my skin was left looking brighter and cleaner, and after regular use I also began to notice a reduction in pesky breakouts.

The scrub is messy to use; but that's normal for any coffee scrub. It doesn't taste the best if you accidentally get a little in your mouth. All the scrubs smell amazing and are consistently of the same high standard (I am currently onto my third order and of course will be placing more!). I have tried other brands as featured in recent Goodie and Violet Boxes; but neither I feel have even compared to Frank, nor have left my skin feeling as smooth and imperfection free as the Frank Body Scrub.

I am a coffee lover through and through so this is really a product that appeals to me. The product itself is really nice and works well which I love, but I do have some issues with the packaging. Opening this packaging the scent is so delish, I have purchased a couple of the flavours and have enjoyed them all, bit of a fan of the original though. The product looks exactly like coffee grounds when you use it but when its on your body it leaves a oil behind that is really nice and hydrating. The scrub is relatively coarse and works well to buff off the rough bits and the oil is subtle which I like as I don't like feeling that it's going to transfer all over my towels once i use them. All in all this product itself is really nice and works well. I do have a couple of con's with the product however, but I feel that they don't outweigh the pros. The packaging isn't great, it looks cute but the functionality of it all isn't that good. The packaging is like a water resistant paper pouch with a snap lock top which I always find awkward to use in the shower, like I don't want to get it too wet so you can't put it down and its difficult to open with wet hands. Errrg! Also when using the product I feel like it does all over the show because its loose texture if you try slap t on your legs lots ends up on the ground which isn't ideal. I usually mix it with a little water to make it more of a paste to try transfer it to my body without it flicking everywhere. I mean Ive still repurchased this many many times so there clearly don't bother me too much, but with noting

I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin on my legs and body. I can generally give everything a good scrub with no issues.

But after massaging the Frank Body scrub into my legs for a few seconds I noticed the redness. I washed the product off but the redness remained. My skin stayed splotchy and itchy for the next 24 hours.

I didn’t use it again for about couple weeks, but thought let’s give it another go. Unfortunately the same thing happened.

I tried Frank Scrub after seeing it on a blog and purchased on a whim.... well it is as amazing as everyone says it is! It smells delicious (if you love coffee lol) and makes your skin feel super amazing, and moisturised afterwards almost oily feeling. You don't need to moisturise afterwards but you can for softer skin.

This product is my absolute favourite! It is a exfoliate that leaves your skin so soft and hydrated, it feels rough when you rub it in but once washed away your skin is nothing but glowing and supple.. My partner actually told me my skin felt like a barbie doll after I used it. I seriously can't live without this scrub! They have released a limited edition coconut and grape seed one too which I plan on trying tonight! I've heard it's smell of coffee isn't as strong. I like to use this scrub the night before I fake tan too. It's great at removing old fake tan. I love their marketing, so cheeky! I find it does target cellulite, my problem area is the back of my thighs and after Frank it's so much more smoother and firmer. I can guarantee you will love this scrub!

I tried Frank the other night with my friend and it was amazing! We covered ourselves in it and wait for 5-10 minutes, When i washed it off my skin felt so soft and radiant. I did the scrub to target my pimples and some of them have defiantly healed! I also used it to target cellulite but i think i would have to use the Frank scrub more then once for a big result.

There's so much hype about this product and it really does live up to what it promises to do! It's quite a strong scent, and it feels a bit weird being that 'dirty' but my skin is always left so smooth and glowing!
