This hair treatment was the last perfect match with the fudge shampoo and conditioner. It smoothed my hair, and left it hydrated after blow drying and straightening. It toned the hair nicely and gave it the best ashy cool tone, without having to leave it on for a long period of time.

Tips: Semi towel dry hair and leave on for 5 minutes
I use this alongside the damage rewind shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it. As soon as I apply it to my hair it feels soft and silky and stays that way until the next wash. I didn’t think it was as pigmented as the shampoo so I leave it in my hair for 10-15 minutes to get that ashy tone without any staining. The formula is pretty runny but I thought that just made it easier to apply. The smell is a bit off putting though, has quite a weird chemical smell to it. However it doesn’t last long so not too sure how good the fragrance technology that it’s supposed to use actually is! For around $30 it’s definitely worth the price.
Tips: Towel dry your hair for a better result as applying it to super wet hair seems to wash it out straight away!
I love this product. I have been using it for years. I use it once a week or fortnight to take the brassy tones out if my beach streaked hair. It leaves my hair such a pretty colour and also leaves it feeling amazing!
Tips: Use it with the matching conditioner
I was excited to try this fudge range as I have used purple toning products on my lightened hair before but found it left something to be desired - what would this range bring?
For starters I really like the packaging - bold colour choices of purple and silver with bits of orange and white stand out. You will never get this product confused with something else. I love the bottle stands on it's cap, meaning that the product always comes out easily.
The product itself is super purple and quite runny - easy to spill all over the place if you aren't careful leaving your shower looking like you murdered the flying purple people eater. The product does sit well in wet hair though and felt very smooth and silky. The packaging warns that the product may stain but I never found it stained my skin or the shower walls if rinsed well.
One thing I did find odd though was in the small print on the back was the claim that the product is developed with FrangraceFuse technology hat infuses each strand of hair with an explosion of fragrance that lasts for 24hours. This isn't mentioned on the front of the packaging and I'm not sure many people look for a treatment to intentionally give their hair a strong smell. And while I don't find the scent unpleasant, I feel like it could clash with other fragrances you might want to use so seems to be an interesting choice. I wonder if this might put some people off?
The results were pretty awesome overall. I was a bit skeptical about the instantly removes damage from hair claims on the packaging as I have long thin hair prone to breakage and split ends, but even from the first use I did see a difference. I had less hair fall in the shower or brushing, my split ends seemed to mostly disappear and my lightened hair colour looked more natural and blended with my natural hair that I'm growing out. My hair also feels smoother and softer, compared to the drying out I have experienced with other purple toning products.
While the price point is definitely more than I would normally spend, having used this along with the rest of the range I would definitely say it's worth it and will be buying again when I run out. Highly recommend!
Tips: Maybe use the day before any big gig so that you aren't worried about clashing fragrances.
