Very excited to try this shampoo. The first point of difference I noticed was you massage in and then leave for five minutes. Usually everything is two applications. The texture was thick and unctuous as it came out the tube. Great as you don't lose half off your hands in the shower. I think I overdosed on the first try as used less on my second wash later in the week. It went on easily and covered well as I have long hair and normally with shampoos I need a lot. So definitely a cost saving here. Rinsed off easily and left hair feeling soft and sleek. This was one of my favourite things as until conditioner goes in my hair feels like straw. My only complaint was the purple stained hands. It does say to wear gloves but really? Who really would bother in the shower washing your hair? Faded within a few hours.

Tips: Don't need to use a lot so just squeeze a 50c amount for long hair, less for shorter.
I only ever use purple shampoo as I want to keep my hair as blonde as possible with no brassy locks. So I was VERY excited to try the new purple shampoo from Fudge. First tick from me it is very purple, I liked the silky texture when I put some into my hand, it felt quite gentle on my hair while it also cleaned it nicely without feeling like it was stripped of any moisture it did add moisture. I absolutely loved it definitely dual product getting the toning and treatment from my shampoo! What I noticed was it was about the third time I was washing my hair that I could tell it feel like it was in better condition and there was less hair coming out onto my hands - what a bonus. Background info I have very long blonde hair which I also like to blow dry and straighten so I need to be very particular about the products I use in my hair and would recommend this new fudge shampoo to all the blondes out there.
Tips: Remember the purple can stain other things so make sure to clean it off any surface. I don’t wear gloves using these products- washing my hands thoroughly after with soap and water removes it well off my hands.
I will preface this review but stating, I have never used Fudge Purple Shampoo before, and had chosen to go with another brand due to reading reviews on Fudge Purple Shampoo. However I do use Fudge Headpaint Toners - which are amazing. Now that I have tried Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo, I am a convert! This stuff smells soooo good. It is highly pigmented violet toned. It does an amazing job with yellow/ gold tones, and gives a nice bright clean tone to blonde hair. I usually only use Purple Shampoo once a week as it can dry out and damage my hair. This stuff has left my hair so much healthier than before using it, and I've only used it twice! I can't begin to imagine how good my hair will look using this regularly. As a diy home blonde, this Product is a must have! Move over other brands, all I'm using from now on is Fudge!
Tips: Use once a week to brighten and remove yellow tones from Blonde. Follow with the Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Conditioner.
AMAZING . NEW FAVORITE HAIR PRODUCT :) I have tried a few different purple shampoos and none have ever given me that freshly toned look like you get from the salon. Well that was up until I tired this shampoo. I applied to my hair and left it in for a few minutes as per the directions. After rinsing it out it left my hair feeling clean and even with wet hair I could see the tone of my blonde looked more cool toned. After my hair had completely dried I was so amazed by the colour of my hair, it was so much cooler toned and perfect. The packaging is super user friendly in an easy to squeeze bottle. A little product goes along way and lathers nicely in my hair. I absolutely love this and definitely will be purchasing. So grateful to have been on the trial team, thanks so much BR xx
Tips: I Followed up after with the fudge clean blond damage rewind conditioner and it made my hair feel so soft and hydrated.
There is a reason why hairdressers no matter what brand of other shampoo their salons use still use this for blonde hair. It is without a doubt the best blonde toning shampoo around it so easily removes brassy-ness and returns a beautiful blonde. It also lathers and cleans well. My only negative would be it does leave a purple tone to the scalp but hey we can’t be perfect!
Tips: Rinse thoroughly so avoid scalp colouring. If you want a lush, natural blonde only use this every 4-6washes, if you want a silvery/grey/purple blonde use it every time.
Fudge is one of those brands that you see for sale at your local hair salon and wonder if it's just overpriced stuff they're trying to sell because they have a contract with them, but after trying this product out for myself, I'm extremely pleasantly surprised with how well it works for my hair! I've always struggled with brassy, damaged hair that damage repair shampoos couldn't tone and purple shampoos left more damaged - this shampoo is a fantastic product that does exactly what I need it to, it gets rid of all the brass and it strengthens and smoothes my hair. It smells really lush when you use it and it's pretty easy to apply and lather although the consistency is quite thin and liquidy - something that's quite common with purple shampoos though. After just one use of this product, I was amazed by the results so I would definitely recommend!
Tips: A little goes a long way so you don't need to use heaps. Given the thin consistency, the more you pump out, the more will just fall through your hands.
I love me a good purple shampoo. I particularly became addicted during lockdown when going to the hairdresser was a no-no and we were eeking out our colours as best we could. Fudge products are my preferred go to and the Clean Blonde Damage Rewind is up there. I like the look, consistency and feel and most importantly it does what it says it'll do. It'll lighten/tone blonde hair from the first wash to remove the yellow. I tend to use it more when my colour is fading but be warned if you use it too much you will get a violet tones to your hair :-)
Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo is a game-changer when it comes to blonde hair care. This shampoo is specially formulated to not only cleanse your hair but also repair and protect it from damage caused by environmental factors or heat styling tools.
One of the standout features of this shampoo is its violet pigments, which help to neutralize brassy tones and keep your blonde hair looking fresh and vibrant. The formula is also free from sulfates, which means it won't strip your hair of natural oils or leave it feeling dry and brittle.
Another notable feature of Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo is its ability to strengthen and nourish your hair with ingredients like keratin and guarana. These ingredients work together to repair damage and prevent future breakage, leaving your hair looking healthy and shiny.
Overall, if you're looking for a shampoo that will help you maintain your blonde hair and protect it from damage, Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo is definitely worth trying. It provides excellent results, smells great, and leaves your hair feeling soft, smooth, and healthy.
Tips: Wear gloves if you don't want mildly purple hands
Fudge Clean Blonde Damage Rewind Shampoo is an excellent product for those with blonde hair who want a shampoo that not only washes but also helps to maintain their hair color.
The shampoo has a special formula that contains violet pigments which help to remove any unwanted brassiness, leaving your blonde locks looking refreshed and revitalized.
I found it a bit tangling during use, but once I had the conditioner in my hair detangled well.
It is a bit messy! Be careful not to flick your hair around too much else you'll be scrubbing away at your shower after use!
Background: I have darker blonde hair that I bleach once every two months to go platinum. My hair tends to go brassy/yellow and has become quite dry, brittle, and falls out; so I was very excited to trial this product. Other purple products just don’t do it for me.

Packaging: comes in a 100% recyclable bottle (according to their website) Price: at $24 for 250ml from Chemist Warehouse, it’s on the pricier side for sure, but you have to pay for quality, I always say. Consistency: not unlike other shampoos. Fragrance: pleasant! I’ve had other products that smell of clay but this shampoo’s fragrance is lovely. Can’t put a finger on it, but it’s nice. Application and coverage: lathers really well for every coverage. Does stain the hands at first glance but over the course of the shower/bath that fades significantly. Results: this product really does work. From the first wash my hair was SMOOTHER, SOFTER, and has stopped falling out - which is a dream come true for me and the robot vacuum. The yellows/brassy parts of my hair were… no longer yellow. However, this product is STRONG. Due to my hair being platinum, I came out the shower with pastel purple accents. I think if I’d left the product on for less than recommended, I would not have had that result. I personally like the effect, and it does fade out without staining clothes or pillow cases. Just be careful and test the shampoo for shorter than the 5 minute’s recommended. Recommendation? Yeah, basically that. Depending on the lightness of your blonde hair, I would test the shampoo out for less time, and build that up over a course.
