I was at my friends for the holidays and she was bleaching my hair. I had dark brown hair so it went really orange, i used the fudge purple shampoo about 3 times while i was there and it was amazing. It toned all the brassy yellow/orange tones in my hair and left me with the perfect blonde that i wanted. It can tend to be really messy so be careful when using it, i also noticed it made my hair so knotty and we had to use heaps of conditioner afterwards but the pay off was well worth it. However when i went home my hairdressers were out of it and i noticed my hair slowly started fading into that brassy orange tone again, so you'll need to use regularly to keep it the colour you want. I'm not blonde anymore but if i ever go back i will defiantly make sure i purchase this first!

Tips: If you leave it in for too long you'll be left with purple streaks
I have recently dyed my chocolate brown hair blonde over the last three weeks. I would be lost without this shampoo. My hairdresser reccommended it and I would be hesitant to try anything else. I adore it. The only downside is that it can make your hair quite knotty. So it is vital that you use a hydrating and smoothing conditioner after use.
Tips: If your hair is quite brassy orange/yellow, leave on for the full 5 minutes and was it everyday for 3-5 days and you will definately notice a difference!
This is my go to shampoo! It always leaves my hair soft and shiny. My blonde is always golden and this leaves it nice and white. Also it smells so good.
Tips: For a better result leave in for a few minutes before washing out.
This violet shampoo is so pigmented that you really get the feeling you are putting pure paint on your hair! I would say it is the best shampoo for minimizing brassiness that I have ever come across. It needs to be used in accordance with your individual needs. If it is left too long on very light bonde you will go a pale violet shade. If this isn't the look you are after make sure to only leave it on for 30 seconds! I use mine maybe once or twice a week. It can be drying if used more often, but just counteract with conditioning treatments like kpak by joico.
This product is amazing! It gets rid of any gold/yellowy tones really quickly. Have used this for like 3 years eversince bein blonde and it works a treat.
Tips: I dampen my hair and paint it on the first couple of times after ive just had my hair rebleached and toned and it works just that little bit better. Dont get any on your forehead or scalp as it can stain.
This has lasted so long in my shower! It feels like it's never going to run out. It works so well on my hair; whenever it looks slightly brassy I just use this instead of shampoo and viola, fixed. Smells gorgeous too. They use this at the hairdressers so it must be good.
Tips: Make sure to watch out for purple flecks in the shower - it gets everywhere!
This stuff is amazing. Great price, gets rid of all yellow tones. This is one of the strongest I have tried and leaves my hair feeling soft.
Tips: Don't leave it in too long as it is strong. It also gets every where in the shower!
This is a very dark purple shampoo, its kinda scary when looking at it in your hand! BUT it is a must have if you have dyed blonde hair,as it normally goes brassy/yellow/gold tones. This shampoo used a couple of times a week with your regular shampoo and conditioner will help take those nasty yellow tones out of your hair! It isnt too expensive from your hair salon either, and a bottle lasts for ages! I have been using this for about 8years and I love it,and when i run out its a bit of a panic!
Tips: If your hair is in bad condition or a very white blonde, the purple colour may stay in your hair after washing it out-i have had this problem before-but i liked it!!
This pretty much does the trick. A very intense violet shampoo, it definitely does what it says it will do. I'm no stranger to these violet shampoos as my blonde can get brassy a few weeks after its been coloured.
This is NOT for the faint at heart. It packs a powerful punch. I've tried so, so many, Matrix, Pantene, L'oreal..you name it, I tried it. Nothing worked as well as this does. My hairdresser recommended this Fudge one, and sold me the 1litre pump bottle for just $30. This was over 2 years ago and im still getting through it.
Tips: Dont leave it on too long or you will get some purple highlights ;-)
Seeing that I have blonde highlighted hair I'm constantly trying to find ways to extend the blonde and hold of the brassiness. There are some toning shampoos that work better than others and the Fudge one is one of those. I didn't think that it was the best, as my hair did feel a little drier afterwards, but it did counter act the brass tones in my hair effectively. When paired with a good conditioner, I'm sure that it could become one of my staples.
Tips: Don't use it everyday, or every second day. I got wonderful pink streaks from "over" usage.
