Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo Review

I have been bleach blonde for 5 years now, and this product is my go to shampoo! Ive tryed many others but this is far off the best purple shampoo. it takes away brassy tones and as some if us blondes know that if we stay in the swiming pool for to long the pool water makes our hair green! this works wounders.

it has a nice a smell and if used once a week it will not dry out your hair or give you that grey purple look you get from most purple shampoos

I recently Ombre'd my hair and I was in serious need of toning. So I bought this along with the conditioner and I was so stoked! It got rid of all of the brassy tones in my hair after one wash. I don't feel like it dried out my hair at all either, it did dye the skin on my head a little bit but I really didn't notice it that much. It smells really nice too! But the smell doesn't linger in my hair. It comes in quite a large bottle and mine has lasted me so long because you hardly need any at all. I also like using it all over my head, even though I have brown hair on the top. I find that it makes it brighter and shinier.

Have been using this product for over 4 years. Best purple shampoo I have ever used. If anybody really wanted a true review I would say don't look at any other purple shampoo this will do the trick and I am really picky on the products I use on my hair. Doesn't dry your hair hair out either replacement for my normal shampoo and then used normal conditioner afterwards

Having used a few purple shampoo products this would have to be my fave! Definitely took the brassiness out of my hair. It didn't dry my hair out like others I have tried and smells amazing, it also lasted a lot longer as you don't need to use much.

I purchased a pack for a few cents under $40 (carnt remember the exact price) it came with Clean blond shampoo & conditioner with a heat protectant mousse more value in the kit then buying individualy

when I tried it it didn't make a drastic change but as I used it regularly it made a difference so I swaped out my normal shampoo and conditioner for my clean blonde

it left my hair with minimal to no brassy yellow tinge and looking (as it says) with a clean blonde

The shampoo is an intense violet so if you don't want a tinge of purple on your hand wear glove the colour on your hand wash away after a few washes

Yes warmth in hair can be nice at times but when you're full on bronze/ginger you want it to go away and this toning shampoo does wonders! Recommended from the MakeUp Obsessives age, I gave it go. I had gone from Black to brown to Red then back to my natural blonde. Going from Red to Blonde was no easy feat but this shampoo helped me through the inbetween stages. I now use it every second shampoo to keep the brass away. Highly recommend.

This is the best blonde toning shampoo that I have used. The shampoo itself is really dark purple and it smells amazing. I usually lather this through my hair and leave for about 5 minutes and then wash it out. When I dyed my hair blonde using a "at home kit" my hair turned out ginger, this shampoo really helped get rid of the ginger brassy tones and turn my hair a nice light blonde. I would definitely recommend this product and I can always rely on it to work.

This shampoo is my absolute holy grail of shampoos. This stuff tones so well, and so quickly. The bottle says to leave on for 3 - 5 minutes, but honestly I never leave it on longer than 3. It is a super toner - consistently putting my highlights back to white - which I love! The shampoo itself is very shockingly purple, and the consistency quite runny - but that's okay, it just makes it easy to spread and rub in to the hair. It seems like its going to stain your hands - but it won't, hot water will get it off your hands, and your scalp! I have never had wanting for another purple shampoo after discovering this stuff, it is the absolute business!

I bought this shampoo based off the reviews below and friend recommendations. I checked out reviews for Lee Statford and John Frieda's purple shampoo's too as well as a few brands not on this site. Out of every review I looked at (and there were lots) this shampoo was the only one that had no negative reviews.

As a shampoo it doesn't tangle like other shampoo's are known to do and it does take out yellow tones, but it only lasts a day or two then I have to do it all over again.

Two things that a lot of people talk about is it turning your hair purple and the smell.

I think the smell is ok, but not amazing.

The purple hair however I have experimented with. I was very careful to only have the shampoo in for about 5 minutes when I first got the shampoo, but the effect didn't last long. So I have experimented with having the shampoo in for up to 4 hours. At 4 hours the whitest blond hairs get a very light lavender tinge, otherwise it stays blonde.

Because the cheapest I could find this shampoo for was $23, I think next time I would consider trying a cheaper shampoo in comparision, but this one does do the job.

So glad to have finally found this product! I was lucky enough to be given a 1L bottle for my birthday, and I was desperate to give it a try on my hair. I had DIY ombre'd my hair, with dark ash blonde roots to a nice platinum finish on the ends. Over time my ends became very brassy and yellow and ew. I applied this shampoo on my dry hair for the first application and left on for two minutes. I noticed quite a difference after this application, most of the ends of my hair had turned a beautiful platinum blonde but it was not consistant (I think this is due to my terrible patchy application ) lol. I have since used this shampoo about 5 times and my hair is gorgeous! No brassy tones to be seen and I look forward to being able to use this in the future to prevent my hair turning brassy :)
