Fudge Clean Blonde Violet Toning Shampoo Review

I have used so many purple toning shampoos I have been blonde for years but none of them have done the job as well as fudge does. The bottle lasts me almost a year! Tones really well I use it pretty much every time I wash my hair as I like the silver blonde colour. Highly recommend this to anyone with brassy highlights

I love this product, it keeps my blonde hair looking fresh and healthy. It removes that brassy yuck look instantly. I use mine once a week. It has a pleasant fragrance and leaves my hair soft and manageable. A little goes a long way, you don't have to use very much at all, I have long hair and it is very good value for money, lasts for ages. Every now and then to be a little different, I leave it in longer than suggested just to get that purple streaky effect. It washes out after a couple of normal washes. I highly recommend this to everyone

I had high expectations for this violet shampoo after spending a bit of time researching other options and finally deciding on this one due to rave reviews.

The lengths of my hair were a sandy golden yellowy blonde prior to using this toning shampoo. This color the result of using the L'oreal ombre highlights kit twice first the kit for brown hair on my natural/ uncolored mousy brown hair, then I used the kit for blonde hair about two months later. What I was hoping to acheive with this shampoo was a more natural looking medium honey blonde and that's what I got.

The first thing I notice about this shampoo when I go to use for the first time is it's VERY violet! The color of it is so intensely rich it temporarily stains the palms of my hands, although the staining is lifted by the time i've handled cleanser and body wash.

I massage a generous amount of the shampoo through the lengths of my hair and leave for around 5 minutes before rinsing out, I don't use conditioner afterwards as I wanted to see how the product performs alone. I couldn't see any difference while my hair was still wet but once it had dried completely it was noticeably lighter but not in a really obvious way, most of that yellow tone had been removed and the color looked a lot more natural.

What really impressed me was the total lack of need for conditioner after washing with this shampoo!Usually if I don't use conditioner my hair is going to be a rough texture, frizzy and a damn nightmare to get a brush a through, not with this kick ass shampoo! This shampoo is highly conditioning for bleached hair making it soft & shiney, and I found I had better results using the shampoo alone as opposed to conditioning afterwards.

After 2-3 washes with this shampoo all of the yellow tone is gone I noticed improvement with every wash until washing for a 4th & 5th time (In a row), by this stage I think it had done the job it's supposed to do.

This is a very effective product, couldn't be happier with the job it did and I can see it becoming a good friend of mine over the coming months as I gradually lighten my hair further. Highly recommend this shampoo to any blonde, there is a matching violet conditioner to go with shampoo I'll probably pick up at some stage also.

I love this Shampoo. I use it once a week in my blond ombre hair and it makes it look awesome. before i started using it my ombre had gone a copper colour, after using it for as few washes it was nearly back to the colour i had. I have used a few different types fo purble shampoo but come back to this one everytime

The best shampoo i have ever used. After having yellow blonde hair it transformed the colour. I have since gone brunette and was told by my hairdresser to still use it which I have been and it helps to keep my colour rich and doesn't fade as quick. Love love love this shampoo. Will never use another one!

This has to be the best purple shampoo I've ever used.

I use it every other wash to keep my blonde clean, leave it on for about 5 minutes. My blonde never goes brassy and I think that's why I can get away with extra time in between my colours.

I find it doesn't dry my hair out at all, I just switch out my shampoos and continue with my usual hair care routine.

I have used this product for well over 2 years, once a week. It's fantastic! The purple is dark and tones out those yellow colours after one wash.

I don't find that it is overly drying but i do use a treatment conditioner afterwards. I figure 5 minutes of the purple shampoo followed by a 5 minute treatment for brilliant hair is a small price to pay!

Go no where else. This is the only Blue shampoo that kicks the yellow out of your hair. In my hometown only two places sell it so it is highly sought after and a bit of a secret, so I am surprised so many reviews are on here! SO agreeing with the rest: moisturing, cleansing like a great shampoo does, leave it in longer leaving those blue pigments, bringing a more ashy blonde. It does wash out with more washes dont panic if you leave it too long! Love this product . (conditioner now available too!)
