I was little worried and hesitated using this shampoo after seeing how rich the purple was, but I'm glad followed through and used it! It did a really great job at keeping away the brassy tones. It does tend make your hair feel like one big clump after washing (I found with having blonde hair that that usually happened anyway) so I would defiantly recommend using the conditioner. I no longer have blonde hair and have managed to go back my natural colour so I used it every now and then as my hair tends to have auburn/brassy type tones which my hairdresser recommended.
I had used a lot of purple shampoos while blonde and this was by far my favourite! I didn't use it everyday just every other it lasted me quiet awhile. Defintely worth a try.
This violet shampoo is so pigmented that you really get the feeling you are putting pure paint on your hair! I would say it is the best shampoo for minimizing brassiness that I have ever come across. It needs to be used in accordance with your individual needs. If it is left too long on very light bonde you will go a pale violet shade. If this isn't the look you are after make sure to only leave it on for 30 seconds! I use mine maybe once or twice a week. It can be drying if used more often, but just counteract with conditioning treatments like kpak by joico.
