Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Classic SPF 15

I love me a good bb cream, and this one does just what anyone would want it to do. It gives your natural skin a little pick me up without looking like you are wearing any makeup. It isn't full coverage but I don't expect that from a bb cream but you can easily apply more to get more coverage.

It blends your skin and dulls any blemishes without drying out your skin. Having spf in it is also amazing especially if you are like me and sometimes are in a rush to get the kids out the door and forget to apply your own sunscreen.

It applies really nicely and may seem a little darker for your skin tone when you first apply it but it blends in perfectly once you spread it out a bit.

Perfect for those days where you don't want makeup but need a little something, leaves a dewy look so if you aren't into dewy a little powder on top would help that out. Seems to last pretty much all day. And hasn't broken me out which I sometimes find these products can do. Overall this is a product I will be buying again.

I received the medium BB Cream All-In-One Perfector to trial. Before even using the product, the new packaging caught my eye. The cardboard tube is made with 49% less plastic and a 100% recyclable cardboard box. It is so awesome to see Garnier making their BB Cream packaging more environmentally sustainable.

The product itself is similar in texture compared to the previous Garnier BB cream however, I found that this has more coverage. Your skin still looks like skin, but I found that this has better coverage on my acne scars. It is hydrating and makes my skin feel soft. It lasts all day and there is little transfer when I wear my face mask. The formula is super lightweight and it does not feel like you are wearing anything on your skin.

The medium shade matches me perfectly in the summertime however, this would be too dark on me in the winter and the light shade would not match me either. My only downfall with this product is that there are not currently a variety of shades that match all skin tones.

First off, I’m not a daily foundation, BB cream wearer. The packaging on this cream is made using 49% less plastic than previous versions (woohoo!) and the tube itself is cardboard. But don’t let that fool you, it feels sturdy enough to last the duration of the product. There is a light scent from the product, not overpowering or offensive, just a light sort of floral scent. I found this cream incredibly easy to apply, just apply as you would mosturiser and it just glides on. It was silky smooth and gave a good, light, even coverage. It did not feel at all heavy throughout the day nor did I feel it was ‘slipping’. Light and invisible all day. I also required less product than I had expected, so the tube will last a good while. Another big seller for me was the SPF15, anything with an SPF base is getting extra points from me. I have tried the Combination/Oily skin version of this product and found that around 3pm my skin was starting to feel a bit dry, I did not get that with this Classic version. I did start to get a couple of breakouts after a few days of use, but given my skin is not used to having any sort of coverage, this is not surprising. I will definitely continue to use this product, I was very happy with the amount of coverage it provided without weighing me down.

I was really excited to trial this product as I haven't been a regular BB cream wearer since high school. This product is super smooth to apply and spreads well while still maintaining good coverage. It doesn't dry out my skin the way more traditional makeup does and it gives a healthy looking glow - an essential summer product in my books! I have not noticed any creasing and the product seems to last all day. The scent is pleasant and not too overpowering.

I do think the "eco" packaging is a bit deceiving - it's great that it uses less plastic, but by combining plastic with cardboard it means it cannot be recycled, like tubes made only of plastic generally can. And although any SPF is better than none, higher than SPF 15 would be better for the NZ sun.

I would recommend this product to anyone like me who doesn't usually have the time to put makeup on everyday - it evens your skin tone and gives a nice glow in under a minute. It is also an ideal product for a day at the beach - this BB cream actually goes on fine over a layer sunblock. I will definitely buying this product again myself if I run out before the end of summer!

I am a big fan of BB creams and similar products for those "no makeup" days where you just need something to even out your skin tone. Without foundation, my face is much paler than my body with a lot of redness so I'm sometimes a bit too shy to go completely naked.

I received this product in Classic Light. I would actually say this is more of a light-medium. I applied it with a damp beauty sponge as I would with foundation (I dont like applying anything with colour using my hands - too messy!). It was easy to apply and buildable so I could add an extra few dabs to my redness. The finish was radiant and natural looking and it lasts well for a BB cream - I found it lasted well for the days errands.

There were only 2 letdowns for me: 1. The shades - I have a wee google and it appears to only come in light and medium. From experience, I know the light is actually not that light so for our fairer and deeper toned friends - this probably wont work for them. 2. The fragrance - I found this too be quite strong and whilst not unpleasant, I generally don't like heavily fragranced makeup products.

This product is smooth and easy to apply. My skin is fair so the light colour worked really well to even out my skintone without looking cakey or heavy. Really blends well into my coloring without looking like I have any makeup on. The fragrance takes a bit to get used too, I'd prefer no fragrance at all. A little goes a long way, I would recommend about at $1 coin size amount to do whole face. For a little more coverage reapply another layer once finished first application. Try buildable coverage on cheeks or any areas with redness for higher cover. Hyaluronic Acid helps keep skin moisturised while providing even skin colour.

I quite like how this cream is light and easy to spread and gives a nice coverage. I am using this as day hydrating cream, after cleansing and my face would glow! I think this is perfect if you are looking for a light coverage, it won't feel dry like other creams. When using this, it lasted all day, didn't rub off and easy to clean at the end of the day. Thank you for this opportunity to try this! I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

First thing I noticed upon opening the box was the packaging of the tube, it felt different and is actually made from cardboard which is great for the environment! Opened the flip top lid and squeezed some out. At first I thought the "light" would be a wrong colour match, but it actually was spot on. This BB cream has a beautiful fragrance and a lightweight creamy texture. I applied it with my fingertips firstly and I just had to make sure to blend it in a little more than my normal moisturiser. It had a light coverage but evened out my skin tone and even hid a couple of healing spots! The fact it has a SPF 15 is an added benefit. It stayed on all day, although I had noticed a little separation on my chin and nose, but it was a 28 degree day! This product has hyaluronic acid in it for extra hydration, so great for a typically dry skin like mine. I've also applied this with a brush like a foundation and put a little powder over top, just for a light makeup and this seemed to work quite well. I would definitely recommend this product, for young and old. Great for a starting point for teenagers and great for older ladies not wanting a cakey look but still wanting some luminosity. Great for beach days when a little coverage is wanted but not a full face of makeup. Would definitely purchase this again.

I use BB Creams a lot and was excited to try this one especially as it has Hyaluronic Acid and SPF added. Those are two things I love in a moisturiser or BB Cream. I used Medium shade which was perfect and a little goes a long way. I love the feel of it on my skin, it’s silky and really hydrating, my skin was really glowing! It smells nice and isn’t overpowering. I found it sits nicely on my skin and doesn’t roll or flake like many others. This Garnier Active All-In-1 Perfector Classic BB Cream is really great for daily wear, you can add more for extra coverage and you don’t have to wear sunblock or anything else with it. Overall, I enjoyed using this BB Cream and love how my skin is so much more smooth, glowing and even. I would definitely use it again and would recommend if you’d like a hydrating silky natural BB Cream.
