Garnier BB Cream All-In-One Perfector Oil Free SPF 25 (vault shade: medium)

I’ve previously used an anti-ageing Garnier BB cream and found it way too thick and creamy for my combination skin but this one completely different and feels almost like the holy grail of BBs!

The tube is very eco-friendly in that it is cardboard integrated so it feels like it will biodegrade better at the end of its life and that’s a big plus for me.

You only need one squirt in place of your normal moisturiser and it glides on smoothly. My shade is medium which is perfect for my olive tones. I feel when I’m wearing this my skin is even and radiant and like I have a bit of colour on my face as a base. Yes I still have a wee bit of shine coming through with this formula but that’s easy to rectify with some setting powder. I do still blot with a tissue later in the day but that’s normal for me and there’s way less oil with this combination formula.

I’m definitely buying this one again and glad to see the SPF is 25 so I’m not worried about putting extra sunblock on.

I was looking forward to trying out this bb cream as I already use the other bb cream by Garnier however I find that to be too orange on me.

After trialing this I am happy to say that I absolutely love this product. The formula is incredible! It is the perfect consistency (not too thick, not too runny, just right). Its easy to blend in. I received the shade light and it matches my skin well. I am pleased that is has no fragrance in it, I find their other bb cream smells quite potent, so little to no smell was a tick for me with this bb cream.

It evens my skin tone out so well. I have issues with uneven skin tone and redness. I do use a tiny bit of concealer over my birthmark and the rest I just used bb cream and I find that it works so well to cover the redness. As for the finished look, It could pass as light coverage foundation.

I am also happy to say that it doesn't leave my face an oily mess like many other products do. Its a really good bb cream and has exceeded my expectations. It has replaced the other bb cream in my daily beauty routine and I will be repurchasing for sure!

I'm not really a bb cream user. I usually like a fuller coverage foundation and find bb creams to be a tad greasy for my liking. But I put my hand up to review this as I liked the fact that it was a matte. I did attempt to see if it could be layered for a bit more coverage but that didn't seem to work very well for me. I selected the shade medium which usually would be a great match for my skin tone. Unfortunately it was far too light and had pinky undertones (I'm a yellow undertone) and there was no way I could get away with wearing this shade in public. I'm not sure if this hot weather made me a shade or two darker or if the shade range is just way off. So I decided to try this on a day that I knew I would definitely be staying home. Initially I liked the scent of the foundation, it smelt fresh but the longer I kept it on, I actually felt sick from it. I will say it was definitely a matte finish after drying out but as the shade was so far off it was quite hard to tell if it met alot of the other claims. I will say, I had a quick dip in the pool with this at the end of a very hot day and there was still some signs of it still on my face although not too much. I also didn't get any burning on my face so love that the spa factor did its job.

I have been looking into getting a tinted moisturiser for a while now, after not using one for years! Although I have been using less makeup due to lockdown, I feel like my normal foundations are actually looking worse on my skin when I do apply them - flaking, clinging to dry skin and looking too heavy even when I would apply with a light touch. I was looking for something lighter that would give me the 'my skin but better' look, and remembered having some great experiences with tinted moisturisers/BB creams when I was younger so was very keen to try this.

When the product first arrived, I was impressed. I love that the tube itself is made with less plastic than other tubes (usually it's just the packaging that is more 'eco friendly'). The packaging also has lots of information on it, which I always love reading through.

The box says to 'spread your BB cream evenly on clean skin'. Even though my skin gets oily through the day, first thing in the morning it's dry so I definitely made sure to apply over a normal moisturiser. The good thing about the lighter formula was that I was able to skip primer, which I can't do with foundation. The cap is lighter (the box says this contributes to the packaging being more sustainable), but it is easy to open. The consistency isn't runny and it doesn't rush out of the packaging, so you never have too much come out when you squeeze the tube which is great and allows you to build up product gradually.

I just used my fingers to apply the product. It glides on nicely, there was no flaking or dry bits around my nose (unlike with my foundations at the moment). I did notice that my hairline and jawline would look a little orange to start with, but a bit of blending fixed that up. I stuck to one 'layer' and blended that all in, then added a second layer just to the centre parts of my face for a bit more coverage. I have a bit of pigmentation around my eyes that it didn't cover, but I didn't expect it to be full coverage - it gave me a nice uniform colour and I was happy with that.

When I first tried this BB cream with no power on top, my skin was pretty oily about 2 hours after applying the product. However, I found that applying a setting powder at the time of applying the BB cream allowed my skin to stay relatively shine free for about 6 hours. If I was just popping out to quickly run errands, I would apply for the BB cream only for a nice glow (and I wouldn't look overly shiny by the end of my trip). If I was going out for the day or night, I would just apply some powder on top. I wouldn't say it mattifies, but it doesn't contribute to making my skin oiler so that's good.

I really like this BB cream. I think this amount (50ml) will last me a decent amount of time, and I am definitely happy to purchase it when I run out. It was exactly what I was looking for, and it's especially nice to have it as an alternative to foundation during Summer.

I am using the light colour, and this is just right for my pale winter skin!

I found the coverage to be quite good - no streaks or orange looking skin.

I have a few oily patches and found that this BB cream covered them nicely with no adverse looking reaction!

A bonus is the SPF25.

I was concerned about the tube being made of integrated cardboard - but have not had any mishaps!

I’m not sure that the photo on their packaging is a good idea, as I couldn’t see any difference between the before and after!

I still moisturised before applying the BB cream, that could just be habit.

I really like Garnier BB Creams - I've tried a few, they're reliable, light and so easy to use. The new formulation of the oil-free is no different!

Firstly I LOVE the new cardboard mix packaging - every little helps and this is a huge environmental step. I also love that Garnier are cruelty-free.

The formula of this BB cream is a pleasant mix between cream and lotion, it's not too runny, but equally liquid enough to easily apply and blend.

I was concerned it was quite orange based coming out of the tube, but once applied and blended it's a very natural, even base. Your skin but better.

It's very hydrating and your skin feels lovely when it's on and equally smooth when it has been removed.

I have very oily skin, by T-Zone is an oil-slick by early afternoon - not with this on! It keeps my oil fields matte and shine-free until the end of the day. WINNING!

I was really excited about this product as I have really oily skin and have been trying to get in the habit of wearing spf every morning - but I also hate looking sunscreen shiny!

I really liked the look of the neutral packaging. It's also quite a nice size, easy to use and small enough to keep in your handbag. I didn't notice any fragrance which I good because I can have quite a sensitive nose.

The product itself is smooth and creamy. Application is easy as the lid only allows a small amount of product to come out at a time which is all you need - a little goes a long way. The product goes on smoothly and blends in easily using your fingertips. It mattifies quickly giving you nice easy coverage.

However I found that as the day went on, the mattified look that I started with disappeared into the shiny oily slick - to the point where if I was going out in the evening I would wash it off and redo my morning routine as my fresh face looked nicer than a shiny one, even though it had a little coverage. I also found that throughout the day I would rub the product off as I accidentally touched my face - so it wasn't particularly longwearing on me.

I should note though, that it has been a particularly humid over the week or so that I trialed this product, so maybe under normal conditions the product would cope a bit better!

I really liked the sound of this product initially due to - this product being a BB cream therefore meaning quite light. - having hyaluronic acid in it. - being for combination to oily skin types - having SPF in the product. I found this product to do what it said it will do, I had a glow while maintains some ’mattness’ and I did not get sunburnt after being in the sun for prioress if the day. However the product oxidised pretty much straight away after putting it on the face, meaning you have to be super careful to ensure you were rubbing it in fully. I would use this product again, it is well priced and gives my skin a break from heavier foundations and products.

When you're in your 30s and suffer from hormonal breakouts, the last thing you want is to smother your face in foundation. So finding a breathable lightweight option for those breakouts is a must for me. I hate feeling weighed down by foundations, so I made the switch to bb creams. I thought I found a good one. That was until I tried Garniers BB Cream All-In-One Perfector. It smells nice, and goes on so smoothly. It feels light weight, like my skin can actually breathe. It gives me enough coverage for day to day wear. And better yet, it helps even out my skintone. I am honestly super impressed by this Bb cream.

I found this BB cream to quite pretty on the skin. The colour was perfect. The coverage was good for what I wanted it for. Evened out my skin but didn't cake my face. It did react weirdly with my setting spray so I just didn't use that and it was great. Spf an added bonus
