I'm not really a bb cream user. I usually like a fuller coverage foundation and find bb creams to be a tad greasy for my liking. But I put my hand up to review this as I liked the fact that it was a matte. I did attempt to see if it could be layered for a bit more coverage but that didn't seem to work very well for me. I selected the shade medium which usually would be a great match for my skin tone. Unfortunately it was far too light and had pinky undertones (I'm a yellow undertone) and there was no way I could get away with wearing this shade in public. I'm not sure if this hot weather made me a shade or two darker or if the shade range is just way off. So I decided to try this on a day that I knew I would definitely be staying home. Initially I liked the scent of the foundation, it smelt fresh but the longer I kept it on, I actually felt sick from it. I will say it was definitely a matte finish after drying out but as the shade was so far off it was quite hard to tell if it met alot of the other claims. I will say, I had a quick dip in the pool with this at the end of a very hot day and there was still some signs of it still on my face although not too much. I also didn't get any burning on my face so love that the spa factor did its job.

I used to be an everyday wearer of Garnier BB cream until the removed their product and replaced with their new formula/s. This bad boy was up for grabs in the beauty vault and I was doing a order so I thought why the heck not chuck it in the cart?!
It has the classic floral Garnier CC cream scent which I don't mind, way better than a chemical smell in my eyes! The scent lingers from when from the bottle until after you have applied it on your face too. It is very easy to apply, I just applied with my fingers. And the tube itself is easy to use and does not waste product at all. The product itself does not require heaps to get an okay coverage which is a bonus! Wearability is not as great as their old range and other BB/CC cream on the market. However this is easy to find and affordable so it would be worth giving it a go :)
I received the All-In-1 perfector BB cream for combination to oily skin in the shade light. Initially I had very high expectations for this product as it claims to even, correct, mattify and hydrate skin while providing SPF protection.
I really liked how eco-friendly the packaging of this product was. It was quite nice to see a big company like Garnier switching to more responsible and sustainable packaging.
I was very excited to try this product as it seemed perfect for summer road trips when you want that easy effortless look. I wouldn’t recommend this product on its own without an additional sunscreen base as SPF25 is not enough to protect our skin for summer. I did like how mattifying and blurring it was.
I expected the product to be very hydrating as it contains hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract but it was quite drying and it would cling to the dry patches on my cheeks. It was very light weight and had coverage. It was enough to even out my skin but the coverage was not buildable.
Unfortunately, this product broke me out so I don’t think I will be repurchasing. As it is a drugstore BB cream, I found that the undertone was quite pink and didn’t suit someone like me with a yellow undertone.
Overall, I really enjoyed trying out this product and I think it will be perfect for summer but would not recommend if you have sensitive skin.
Tips: Use a high SPF base for extra protection.
I was lucky enough to trial this product through BR. Firstly the packaging, the box is pretty stock standard but inside is a new type of tube made of cardboard and using less plastic than it's predecessor which is great. The tube is 50ml so standard size for a moisturiser. The cream itself is quite thin and has a quite strong scent, it's not unpleasant but it's not particularly nice either, just a very cosmetic smell, worth noting if you're sensitive to fragrance. Application is super quick and easy, I found using my fingers worked well but needed to wash my hands afterward. The coverage is very subtle, it really just helps to even things out but it's not going to hide anything. I have hyperpigmentation on my forehead and that was still very visible. I tried layering the product in problem areas but didn't have much success. It's perfect for just popping on to run a few errands but definitely not going to replace your favourite foundation. It's a nice fuss free option for getting out the door in a hurry or when a ni makeup look is on the cards.
Tips: If you have dry patches I'd recommend a moisturiser first as I found the pigment clung to the dry skin.
I was super pumped to try this product as I love BB creams and I love Garnier products so was convinced this would be a win for me! Unfortunately I wasn’t that impressed.
First impressions of the packaging, very impressed that they’ve managed to move away from the plastic tubes to recycled cardboard. Anything to help the environment without sacrificing product quality is a win for me! The tube is very solid, I threw it in my handbag and not only did it not bend, but the lid also didn’t pop open and let product out everywhere. Such a win!
The product itself is very easy to apply, but like any standard BB cream doesn’t give great coverage unless you apply a couple of layers. I got the light shade, however it came out of the tube looking super orange! It eventually blended into my face but I felt like I could still see some orange tinges which is definitely a no from me. It had a weird fragrance to it which I felt was quite overpowering.
The ultimate test for me was trying to cover up a face full of sunburn. The BB cream took a little bit of the red away, but not much else. I think the formula is a little too thin to provide much coverage without building up heaps of layers.
I found this gave me a few more breakouts than I would have liked, which was disappointing given it’s got hyaluronic acid. I found I was having to wash my face more which also aggravated it more and meant I had to use more BB cream. A bit of a vicious cycle!
Overall, I don’t think this BB cream was for me. The formula was a bit thin and orange for my liking. I personally would benefit from a thicker formula.
Tips: Apply your first layer sparingly, a little goes a long way if only doing one layer! Helps to use a bit more product if trying to build up coverage.
The BB cream gives me a nice little undertone glow which is nice if you are going to apply foundation and other products over. On its own it doesn’t really do the job for me
I really like the regular Garnier BB cream and have used it a lot in the past however it doesn't always help with the oil issue so I was excited to receive this product and see the results!
I found the consistency a lot more watery/runny than the original one and didn't seem to blend in as well as the original. I had the light color yet found this was not a good match to my skin and made it look somewhat orange.
It lasted a few hours which was good and did help with the excess oil I can get at times so that was good however I would like a better match to my skin which this did not deliver on.
It does leave the skin feeling nice and light and not the caked on feeling that foundation can do.
I probably wouldn't buy this again and just stick to the original formula.
Price range is reasonable and this would last quiet awhile before having to get a new one.
Tips: Don't squeeze it too hard a lot can come out and you end up wasting it as don't need too much.
I was really excited about this product as I have really oily skin and have been trying to get in the habit of wearing spf every morning - but I also hate looking sunscreen shiny!
I really liked the look of the neutral packaging. It's also quite a nice size, easy to use and small enough to keep in your handbag. I didn't notice any fragrance which I good because I can have quite a sensitive nose.
The product itself is smooth and creamy. Application is easy as the lid only allows a small amount of product to come out at a time which is all you need - a little goes a long way. The product goes on smoothly and blends in easily using your fingertips. It mattifies quickly giving you nice easy coverage.
However I found that as the day went on, the mattified look that I started with disappeared into the shiny oily slick - to the point where if I was going out in the evening I would wash it off and redo my morning routine as my fresh face looked nicer than a shiny one, even though it had a little coverage. I also found that throughout the day I would rub the product off as I accidentally touched my face - so it wasn't particularly longwearing on me.
I should note though, that it has been a particularly humid over the week or so that I trialed this product, so maybe under normal conditions the product would cope a bit better!
Tips: Go for a lighter tone than you think you need - I'm glad I got light because medium would have been too dark, even though I'm quite tanned.
I like it initially meaning when you first put it on but give it 30 minutes... It's WAY too oily for my liking ... coverage is probably the best part of this product. Also Medium is quite an orange color lol.
Tips: Use a powder over top ? Or don't moisturize before you wear this product..
This product gave me a lovely coverage, but unfortunately the fragrance (that no other foundations have had) made my eyes water and made me sneeze.. which is a pitty cause apart from that it was lovely
