Garnier Body Superfood Aloe Vera & Magnesium

Firstly wow what a massive tub!! Upon opening the massive lid it gives off a refreshing fragrance. Super easy to swipe some out and it spreads really well. Not too greasy and doesn't take long to absorb either. My only questions is how much magnesium? I was unable to find how much magnesium was actually in the product.

As soon as I opened the tub of Garnier Body Superfood Aloe Vera & Magnesium both my 9 year old son and my bf commented on how nice it smells & I agree. The fragrance is quite strong initially but softens once applied to the skin. Perfect for applying after a pre-bed (or anytime) shower or those times when you don’t want to wear perfume but still want to smell good. My skin felt lovely after using this fast absorbing lotion, no itching or reactions, just soft smooth skin & did I mention the fresh, clean fragrance? Body lotion in a tub has it’s pros & cons. Pros; no wastage, easy to get product out and you always know when you need to restock. Cons; the tub is a bit bulky & while there’s little risk of leaking it’s not an ideal travel companion as it takes up quite a bit of space both in a bag & in the bathroom. But since I love this body lotion it’s otherwise attractive packaging isn’t a deal breaker. I can’t say whether my skin was hydrated down to 10 layers but I did test the 48 hrs of moisturising & wasn’t disappointed. I even used it on my feet which are rough from going barefoot & was happy with the results. I love that Garnier’s Body Superfood Aloe & Magnesium is cruelty free, vegan & 96% natural origin. The fully recyclable packaging also states the origin of most ingredients which I liked. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. Though do shop around as prices range from $8 at Countdown supermarkets through to $25 from other suppliers. A body lotion has to be spectacular for me to pay $25 but $8 makes this body lotion great value for money. I will definitely purchase Garnier’s Body Superfood again & I will try other products in this range to suit seasonal skin changes-the Cocoa & Ceramide is next on my list.

Packaged in a BIG tub, this lotion packs quite a punch. I love the tub. It means I can get all of the product out, which is not the case with pump bottles. Those, I have to cut open and scoop about two weeks worth out into a small jar. This has a lotion style texture and a little goes a long way. I have been using it for about four days and cqn see it's going to last quite a long time. I didn't think this would be moisturising enough as it is promoted for normal to dry skin, and my skin leans more to the dry side...but I was pleasantly surprised. My skin is moisturised all day. I am not sure how it would do in the colder months, but it works just fine now. Although the packaging says that it penetrates 10 skin layers deep, I don't think this is possible, and I am not a fan of this type of hype speak. The scent reminds me of tinned peaches? Kind of fruity and fresh, but not sickly sweet. The scent doesn't linger too long, and doesn't interfere with my perfume. Would I purchase? Probably, the price point is a bit on the expensive side, but you get a lot of bang for those bucks, and I think this will last me all Summer.

I'm a big fan of the Garnier range and the moisturing cream didn't disappoint. This product is definitely a cream as opposed to a lotion. It is very thick and creamy, you only need small amount. It was easy to apply and mostly absorbs quickly. There is a light layer that stays on the skin to keep hydrated. There was no fragrance which was another plus for me. I would get this again.

I love the fragrance of this product, not over powering, but not too subtle. I love the feel of it going onto the skin and the fact you don't need a lot to cover an area. I used this on my skin that was scratched from gardening and it didn't sting and certainly helped soothe the area wonderfully. My skin feels lovely and definitely hydrated.

We already love the Superfood range of Garnier in this house, so I was excited to try the body moisturiser. It lived up to the reputation! It's a smooth, buttery cream that is readily absorbed by your skin. Love that it doesn't leave a greasy film, nor is it sticky or slimy. It's not a super thick cream, and a little goes quite some way. Definitely locks in moisture - my skin felt lovely for 24 hours. Absolutely gorgeous, fresh scent - not too overpowering but not so weak that it vanishes immediately. I had compliments on the smell so that's always a bonus! Love the pot - means you can lap up every last drop of this lovely cream. We suffer from eczema in this house and this cream didn't irritate us at all. I'm keen to try other variations to see if we react or not.

I have enjoyed using the Garnier Body Superfood Aloe Vera & Magnesium from the first application. My skin is dry, especially on my lower legs and forearms, and I have seen the results of this superfood right away.

The cream is lightly creamy and easy to apply. A little cream on the fingertips covers easily the lower leg and is quickly absorbed. It smells very refreshing, however not overpowering.

I apply the cream when I go to bed and can feel that my skin is hydrated when I wake up.

The 380ml jar is easy to open and will certainly last 2 to 3 months with a daily application. Its price is average and worth the money. The jar and its lid can be recycled. The lid is secure and can be stored upside down without leaking.

I confirm that Garnier Body Superfood Aloe Vera & Magnesium leaves the skin feeling instantly hydrated. I would recommend it to my friends.

Even though I knew this was going to be good, because I love Garnier products, especially their hair food, I am shook by just how amazing this moisturiser is!

I was gutted when I saw the "flavour" I was sent was the aloe vera and magnesium body superfood, however, as soon as I touched it I was so pleased I was. I probably wouldn't have tried this one if I hadn't been sent it and now I will continue to buy it all summer long (and then some likely!).

It has an almost gel-like feeling at first, cooling and smells like summer! It is thick and rich yet somehow also light. It literally glides onto the skin and sits for a minute before it magically absorbs. I was worried for a minute it was going to stay sticky, but fear not, it melts into the skin leaving you with the most luxuriously soft, smooth feeling and looking skin. It is like I've just come out from the spa after a full body treatment.

Furthermore, let's not forget how good it is for sunburn! Yes, I know, sunburn is bad. I use sunscreen on myself and my children daily, but our sun is so harsh and sometimes after a bit of gardening or sport, despite our best efforts to slip, slop, slap, we end up with the dreaded burn. Garnier Body Superfood Aloe Vera & Magnesium is a lifesaver! So cooling and moisturising, applying this before bed after a sunburn is the most relief I've had and helped me get off to sleep easily. My kids, daughter 16 and son 12, both love it too. I've also used it on my and my daughter's eczema when it needs soothing and it is perfect and doesn't sting or irritate, but leaves it super hydrated and relieved of itching and burning.

I'm looking forward to trying ALL of the others and will keep a supply of each for every type of skincare need I'll be back to share more on what the other types are good for.

I have been using this for the past week and I really really like it, the smell is so lovely and fresh & it’s a really nice moisturiser that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all! It’s part of my daily after shower routine it’s brilliant

I absolutely loved this. I was worried that it felt almost runny coming out of the pot, but it soaks in so we'll and left my skin smelling and feeling lush!!
