Even when used with the shampoo it makes my hair very oily and dirty looking I would never use it again

I picked this up in my weekly shopping for a couple of dollars. My hair is thick and frizzy . My hair is hard to manage . I’m always on the hunt for a hair conditioner that softens my hair and makes it feel smooth.
This bottle comes in a bright green bottle . Has the garnier labelling . The consistency is fluid like running hand soap . It has a coconut scent .
Upon application I wet my hair . Lather this through. During that time my hair feels soft . Afterwards my hair feels soft . Still wild and big but feels clean .
Overall I think this is reasonably priced . I can see myself using this again in the near future.
I use this as my daily conditioner. I have found my hair is softer and smells amazing! I do notice that it is a bit more dry than usual. All in all used with an extra hair mask would work well.
Tips: Use a generous amount
This milky white conditioner doesn’t have much of a scent.. or maybe because it’s so subtle that I couldn’t smell it? The consistency felt nice and creamy... It’s easy to apply and massage onto your hair. Upon rinsing, I already felt the silky smoothness of my hair.
After drying my hair.. i can say wow! My hair not only looked nice and glossy... It really felt soft and silky smooth... I couldn’t stop running my fingers through it again and again. It felt as if my hair has finally regained its natural shine again. It’s a lovely conditioner...
The day after.. it didn’t feel as silky as it initially felt. but my hair still felt soft and healthy. My hair near the scalp also felt nice and happy.
I totally recommend using this conditioner together with it’s shampoo pair.
Didn’t rate it higher as i hoped that silkiness feel would have remained longer. I will try leaving it on for longer next time and see.
I love the bright green bottles and the fresh coconut smell the first time I always leave my conditioner in for ages while I’m in the shower.
My hair felt silky after the first couple of times but then I gave up on it and passed it on to the kids.
It is a really good price on the upside
I went away on holiday and realised I forgot to bring my conditioner, when I got to the store this was the cheapest one I found that wasn’t budget or home brand. I was pleasantly supprised when I used it it left my hair feeling silky smooth and soft. I have very thick hair and I find it hard to get conditioners that make my hair this nice and silky. Over all it’s a good product for a great price
I bought the Garnier Coconut Water range a few weeks ago. I usually dislike Garnier Fructis shampoos and conditioners but this one definitely made me change my tune a bit, or a lot! It matches the shampoo in the same duo which I love matching things so yay. It is a darker more vibrant green than the boring old garnier fuctis that I have seen before these.
The bottle sits with the opening on the down side so that it makes it easier to get the product out. The conditioner is very rich and creamy to the touch and as described by my bebe Shana it smells like fruit juice. I was never a fan of all the sweet fruity shampoos that Garnier make but this baby has me loving the smell.
After I have shampooed I follow with this conditioner to give it the best results. I use the equivalent to two fifty cent coins to make sure I get full coverage. I smooth it through concentrating mostly on the lengths of my hair because that is where all the moisture is needed as opposed to the roots. My hair is colour damaged so needs a lot of TLC so I wasn't holding out much hope that it would feel amazing. After only smoothing it through my hair becomes tangle free (massive feat with curly hair) and like I have just walked out of a salon feeling. This was after just one wash!!
After towel drying my hair, the magic was evident! I ran a hairbrush through it with no problems. Usually I have a fight with the hairbrush to go through and undo matted knots. This time I am able to brush my hair no sweat with but maybe two knots compared to my usual 15-20. If this is what happened after the first wash I couldn't wait to find out more.
It has now been around 4-5 weeks since I purchased this. My hair is far more manageable and soft. The colour damage is still there but is way less obvious to the eye unless you're inspecting it up close. It shines and in turn allows my red hair to shine and look as healthy as it can be. So in summary, I am coconutty on this stuff!!
Tips: Use the Garnier Fructis Coconut Water shampoo before you use the conditioner for best results.
My hair can be a bit funny. I tend to use less conditioner than shampoo as conditioner for me can often make my hair too slippery and then it goes limp.
Firstly I love the smell of this conditioner that's really important to me, that sensory experience when i'm washing my hair. Secondly I loved the sensation after i'd applied the product and combed it through, when the water hit it washing it out and it felt all sleek!
But the crunch time came at dry and style time? Would it be too limp? Could I leave the house?
I'm pleased to say that this did exactly what it said on the can. It conditioned my hair and didn't weigh it down. I was able to style it and it felt just right for me. I loved it.
Tips: Said it with my other two reviews. You can pick this product up on special for $2.50 at Countdown. Just do it! Do it! It's a great buy.
The packaging is a nice bright green, stands out well on the supermarket shelf. I like the nice fruity scent, it's not too overpowering.
I wasn't entirely sold on the shampoo, but I felt the conditioner worked well. When my hair wasn't oily the shampoo worked well and the two together left my hair feeling really smooth.
The conditioner works well with my other shampoo as well. The length feels hydrated without weighing down the roots. I found I needed less conditioner than I normally do with other ones, which is great because my conditioner always runs out a lot faster than the shampoo.
I'm pretty sure I will buy this one again, I like that it doesn't feel heavy and it adds a nice lingering scent.
I use this along with the matching conditioner and I am impressed! Seems to tame my thick, oily hair well. I like the subtle coconut smell too, it's nice to get a whiff of it when my hair is floating around my face. Only issue I have found is sometimes if I leave the conditioner sitting on my scalp too long it seems to make it more oily. I have now started avoiding my roots when conditioning and this seems to work.
