This product works really well to reduce frizz and condition considering it’s also super affordable. Obviously it’s not going to be salon quality, but I find it effective. I use it as a sort of mask, I wet my hair slightly and apply it generously for about 10 mins before I wash my hair, then shampoo and condition (leave in for about 5 mins). This leaves my hair less frizzy and more manageable. It doesn’t repair damage but it works as a preventative, and I use it about once or twice a week so that I don’t use up my more expensive products too quickly. The scent is really nice without being overpowering and it works well with other shampoos or hair oils.

Tips: Leave it in for at least 5 minutes to get better results.
I have about 3 of these and I use them after every shower while my hair is wet and it makes my hair so soft and shiny and leaves the best scent. I personally like this flavour the most. It is a really nice scent and just leaves my hair looking flawless every time
Probably the worst treatment I have used. Tried it in all ways as per directions. My partner & I have totally different hair types & it made our hair ridiculously dry & knotty. After 2 tries each I have thrown it....one of the worst products I've ever bought.
Tips: Don't buy
Backstory: I have VERY dry hair AND skin, so anything that claims to help is an instant “let’s try it” from me. I do dye my hair often, so that’s going to affect things a bit. This product is one of my favourites when it comes to conditioner. It comes in a sizeable pot, lots of instructions on the packaging and recyclable. The consistency is good, you don’t need a whole lot for just-below-shoulder length hair. A pot like this will last me a month, whereas a bottle lasts me usually two weeks or so. I love, love, LOVE that you can use it 3 ways. Conditioner, mask, or leave in* but read packaging for info on that. The product smells good, not unpleasant, but not overpowering. As for results, as previously mentioned, I have very dry hair and do dye my own hair once every two months or so, so I’m not surprised that I still suffer some dryness after using. That being said, there was an improvement for sure. I noticed more shine, more volume, and less frizz. It wasn’t a fix-all, but it would have to be an absolute miracle at this point. I would use again and again and again.
Was recommended this product by a friend and I am never ever turning back. It’s given my hair moisture, life, shine, softness and bounce. For someone that bleaches and bleaches their hair to the point that it’s completely damaged I honestly thought my hair was beyond repair until I tried this product. A+++ thank you so much Garnier. Such an under rated product
I love that it is a mask, conditioner AND a leave in. I prefer the aloe version as this one is quite heavy, but I found that it did what it says it does.
Tips: I have heard that if you have high porosity hair you should use the banana one as it has a lot more butter in it. But the Aloe has the most hydrating ingredients and no protein, so if your hair is on protein overload, that's probably the best one.
Doesn't stand up to others I've tried vut I do love how it's multi-tasking. It's good but not great. Worth the price though. Thought I'd atleast give it a go. 8ll be using it up but probably not going to but this again
I decided to try this as I enjoyed trialling the banana mask. This is equally conditioning and leaves your hair feeling soft. The scent has a nutty smell to it almost exotic but isn't overpowering. Wash and condition your hair first thus allowing the conditioner to work leaving your hair soft and bouncy.
You can use this three ways as a leave in, a mask or a quick conditioner but I find doing my hair first in the shower is adequate.
Tips: Buy while on special and try others in the range.
I love how Garnier seems committed to using natural ingredients and recyclable packing but I’m afraid I can’t love this product.
It’s a huge tub of warm nutty smelling goodness but it’s done nothing really to help my fluffy and frizzy flyaways. I have long thin hair and I was expecting more of a dense cream than this is. The tub says you can use it wet and dry which is a bonus so you don’t need two products and it can even be used as a mask. I tried all three ways but still the same lack lustre result. New supermarket hair buys for me tend to be more miss than hit, I should go back to Elvive oil-in-cream which never fails.
So what to do now with this big tub? My eleven year old with curly locks will probably have to use this tub up. Shame as it’s very economical for the size and would have enjoyed using it over probably a good year judging by the size.
I use this as a deep conditioning mask once a week and it leaves my hair feeling really soft and detangles easily afterward. The hairfood feels very thick and rich, like high end deep conditioning treatments i have tried. Also, it smells amazing!
Tips: Leave on for at least 5 mins and upto an hour. Rinse well.
