This conditioner has a beautiful fragrance, which does in fact smell a lot like watermelon but sweeter. It was also pretty moisturising on my hair. Unfortunately, it didn’t improve the volume of my hair at all, which was kinda why I chose it. My hair looked pretty limp after I used it. It is cheap, and a decent conditioner, but if your looking for extra volume this isn’t a good option, despite what the bottle says.

I use this for my daughter who is 13 yrs old and never had a haircut due to cultural reasons so it is important it have something natural this is over 90% natural, smells like you could eat it, does everything it's meant to and is cruelty free so even better.
I was very excited to get a hold of this along with the shampoo. It seems to be sold out in supermarkets and the warehouse stores that I have visited recently. I think it is because it is a new flavour / scent from the Garnier hair food line and they did so well with the others. I bought this from the beauty review vault. What I have noticed with the conditioner is in comparison with the papaya one this watermelon one is thick. I was a bit put off from the papaya as it seemed like a watered down version of the hair food in the round tubs. (I have tried the round tubs of hair food in all the flavours except the watermelon) what I have noticed is the watermelon scent doesn't linger in my hair as long as the others do. As I have said with the hair food conditioners if you're new to using silicone / diamenthicone free conditioners you might feel like this doesn't smooth your hair enough and that you need alot. That is because silicone diamenthicone free conditioners are missing that silly slippery smooth soft additive in them which gives those feelings to the hair when wet. They build up in your hair long term, can dry hair out and prevent dye from good absorption into the hair. They do give an impression of healthy hair because it masks damage by disguise - putting a coating on the hair and smoothing. It's a costume though it's not actually nourishing or hydrating. Anyway I like this product and I'm going to mix it into temporary hair colour in the future and use as a mask to try make the scent linger longer. I don't think this is my favourite of them all but I'm so glad I have finally got to try it. Didn't notice extra volume though but the shampoo made my hair clean and the conditioner left my hair feeling soft and not all weighed down.
I'm obsessed with anything watermelon scented or flavoured so was very excited to try this out. It smells great, but I wish the scent hung around a little longer once rinsed... once washed and dried the scent disappears from my hair completely. The conditioner overall is ok. Very thick consistency so able to get a nice lather through my lengths. I have very fine hair and I didn't find it boosted any volume or added bounce but I did not use in conjunction with the shampoo so it may be user error.
