This product is a good size, and comes in a fresh looking tube. It doesn't have a pump dispenser (which I am used to using in a cleanser), and it doesn't give you a recommended amount of product to use, means that it is hard to estimate how much product you should be using each time.
It has a really nice fresh scent, it smells of pineapple and lemongrass, which helps in leaving my face feeling refreshed and energised. It promises that it removes makeup and brightens skin. I would still use an oil cleanser first to remove eye makeup and heavier foundation, but this does an adequate job in removing the rest.
This product is not very viscous, and quite 'watery' in texture. This combined with lack of pump means that you can easily use a lot of this product each time.
Overall, a good choice and definitely worth trying if you want a lightweight, fresh feeling cleanser.
This cleanser is a clear gel with a runny consistency. It lathers lightly and has a slippery texture. It does have a significant pineapple fragrance (perfume) that I enjoy but others may find strong.
I can’t comment on its makeup removing abilities because I have not worn a full face of makeup in a while, but it does remove light concealer and brow powder easily. It didn’t sting my eyes and it rinses away leaving skin feeling fresh.
I have dry skin and didn’t feel like I had to rush to moisturise my skin straight after using this cleanser - it did not leave me with a stripped feeling (but definitely still need to moisturise).
I can’t tell if this cleanser has made my skin brighter at all - I haven’t been using it for long enough, and it’s unlikely that a cleanser would be able to have significant brightening effects due to the low concentration of actives and little time it is on the skin.
I do enjoy using it and don’t see anything wrong with it, but will probably purchase other cleansers over this when it runs out.
Tips: Follow with the serum cream from the same range!
