First impression: standard squeeze tube that sits up and is easy to you. Light gel consistency not thick or gluggy. The scent is fresh but I bit soapy.
Application: a little goes a long way with this gel cleanser, I use a pea size amount on an already wet face and it does my face and neck. It glides on as the gel is light in texture and is very refreshing, perfect for the morning. It is easy to wash off and did not sting over my sensitive, dry patches.
Result: after patting my skin dry I felt rejuvenated and clean. I noticed that it made my face feel dry. Not dry to touch, but felt like I needed hydration so I moisturised straight away after using the cleanser. I have combination skin with dryness on my nose / Cupid’s bow and I noticed that my small, dry patches stood out more after using this product as slight flaking would appear around the patches. The flakes could easily be brushed away so it wasn’t cracking or super drying but still accentuated those areas on my face. Overall I did notice a brightening in my skin, enjoyed the application but not the affect it had on my dry patches. I won’t be purchasing this product, but feel it would suit someone with more normal/oily skin and it’s more environmentally friendly.
The smell of this cleanser is frankly way too strong (although I am very sensitive to smells so YMMV). To me it has a strong chemical smell with hints of pineapple. However it does work well as a cleanser and removes makeup with no issue. It also had no adverse effect on my sensitive skin, though I would refrain from using it more than once a day at most. I don't know how effective the vitamin C and pineapple extract would be in a cleanser since it only contacts the skin for a minute or so before being washed away, but they are still nice additions. Overall I would recommend if strong smells aren't an issue
Tips: Avoid if sensitive to strong smells
