Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Routine

Lovely combo! It feels like a premium product, and the packaging on both items are gorgeous. You really get an eco feel. The cleanser is light and foamy without an overpowering scent, but just enough to satisfy your sense of smell. It leaves your akin feeling squeaky clean. The serum is a great moisturiser, i tried it under makeup and found it wasnt as good as other products i have tried as a base as my makeup qas slipping by the end of the day, but it did leave me feeling really hydrated at the end of the day. As far as the brightening effects of both products - I am not sure about it as I didnt see much of a difference. But in saying that, I do feel as though if this combo was used for a month+ there would be some really nice results.

I think this is a great base routine for all skin types! These two products work great together and keep the skin glowing, balanced and protected. A fantastic routine for those who prefer to keep it simple or are short on time, as you’re essentially getting a moisturiser, serum, and SPF in one product and a lovely brightening gel cleanser to pair it with. I have normal skin that I like to keep well hydrated, and these products did just that for me. I loved not having to apply an extra product for SPF protection, my skin was perfectly hydrated and had a lovely healthy glow while using these. Despite usually being wary of gel cleansers due to them usually drying and stripping my skin, this cleanser gave me a really good cleanse while still keeping my skin happy and balanced, not drying even slightly! Both have pleasant, minimal scents and a little goes a long way with them both, so I really think these together make the perfect morning routine for those who want a budget and time friendly option without sacrificing bright and happy skin!

Together these products are a powerhouse of freshly scented goodness, making you feel energised and your skin does appear brighter! I took some before and after photos and the reduction in redness after just the cleanser let alone the serum as well were definitely noticeable enough to not attribute it to anything else. Separately they work well, together they're a powerhouse.

The serum is spf15, so there is a slight sunscreen scent to it though this is not overpowering in anyway as the pineapple helps cut through that.

Product design is minimal but effective, and both bottles suggest there will be minimal wastage of product which is always a good thing!

I have noticed an increase in pimples that were unexpected but cannot definitively say that is intrinsically linked to the use of these products as there are other factors at play as well.

Overall, a good combo that did what it said it would. Will leave you feeling fresh and ready for the day ahead and does allow for smooth make up application.

Both products have a lovely light scent that doesn't linger too long. I also love that both products are cruelty free and the packaging is taking steps in the right direction to be environmentally friendly. These products do compliment each other very well and are a wonderful refreshing way to begin the day. Both products individually left my skin refreshed however when used together my skin was so soft and smooth, I was constantly touching my own face. I only noticed the brightening effect as I have a dark eczema patch above my eyebrow which became less noticeable when using the cleanser and moisturiser together. As I much as I loved this routine though, I was disappointed to notice large blackheads in areas that I've never had blackheads before. While the cleanser and moisturiser did make my skin brighter as described, it seems it came at the sacrifice of clear skin. I would recommend this as a routine to anyone who needs a refreshing boost in the morning that doesn't need to worry about blackheads or clearing their skin.

I was really surprised by these products. The serum is beautifully creamy and apsorbed into my skin really easily with no greasy residue left like some serums do. Love love love that it has SPF as well! The cleanser left my face feeling fresh and clean without drying it out and kept my oily t-zone under control. I normally prefer foaming cleanser but I may be converted to gel after using this. Overall I'm really happy with the products, I would definitely repurchase as they're great value for money.

After just one week of using the Garnier cleansing gel and serum routine I am surprised to already see positive results in my skin. The cleansing gel is kind on my skin and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or red & the serum is smooth to put on and has a nice scent. My skin is already looking brighter, smoother and overall refreshed. I would definitely recommend this combination for anyones daily skin care routine - especially at this affordable price.

I love how two products have been able to replace a usual 5 step process.

Firstly I found the gel cleanser is gentle and soft yet provides a great clean feel. It's quite light but lathers nicely and easily on a damp face. Alot of other gel cleansers I've tried have been quite drying so was quite pleased I didn't experience this with Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser.

I also really liked the Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream, the fact it replaced 3 products in 1 already had me sold - not having to use serum, moisturiser and sunscreen has definitely made the morning routine alot quicker. It had a pleasant pineapple smell and a nice thickness that wasn't too light or too heavy which was refreshing given most products with sunscreen can be heavy/sticky.

I haven't noticed the Brightening benefits yet so hoping with time I might see it. In the meantime these two products are great as a simple everyday routine.

These two Garnier products claim to brighten your skin, effectively cleanse your skin, and be soft a gentle. I found these two products do work well together and it’s great for a basic skincare routine. The pineapple scent in these products is subtle and it is something a little different to what other products are offering. The serum is more beneficial for me as it contains sunblock so it’s likely I will be repurchasing this. I found these products are great for my sensitive skin but overall they aren’t more effective compared to other products similar on the market for sale.
