I really love this concept, of the serum, moisturiser and spf being infused together into one product. I dont normally like a SPF in my moisturiser as I dont like they way it sits and feels on my skin - but this cream was so nice! Its so silky, and light and has a really nice unisex smell. Its definitly a great day cream to use in the summer, I do perfer a thicker richer cream during the colder months. I would reccomend this cream/serum as I just love that the serum is infused into the moisturiser - such a time saver and I feel like my skin is getting that little bit extra. Love it

Reviews
I love how easy the Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Serum Cream SPF15 is! It really is genius to have a one step product that acts as a moisturiser, serum and sunscreen! I really enjoyed the fresh smell of this product and I am glad it wasn't too fruity. The consistency is nice and light, however I did find it a bit greasy, and it does leave a 'sunscreen shine' which I am not a huge fan of. In saying that, a little bit goes a long way so this product will last a while. I do think my face feels soft and looks brighter. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes, for the simple fact that it shortens my morning routine significantly and seems to be a great hybrid product.
This product was nice as a 3-in-1 treatment/moisturiser/sunscreen. It comes in a handy pump bottle that has a lockable pump so it’s good for travelling.
It is a white coloured medium-thickness cream that spreads and rubs in easily. It did not leave any white cast on my NC25 skin. The first thing I noticed was a pretty heavy “sunscreen” tropical scent, but after using the cleanser from the same range I realised it was just the pineapple fragrance that reminded me of sunscreen. The scent does linger for a while so it may not be suitable if you are sensitive to perfume.
This product left my normal/dry skin feeling hydrated and plump with a satin finish. It was not greasy or too watery. I did get a little shiny on the T-zone after a couple of hours.
I wish it was SPF30 but SPF15 is better than nothing. I cannot comment on its ability to fade dark spots as I haven’t used it for long enough but I feel that the combination of vitamin C and sunscreen has the potential to fade and prevent dark spots.
A little goes a long way with this product. I like the easy to use pump style. The bottle looks nice and it smells quite fresh. I made the mistake of rubbing my eyes before washing my hands so got the classic sunscreen in eyes feeling. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. I used it as a make up base on one of the days and didn't notice anything in terms of separating the foundation or the likes which is good. I noticed some evening out of my skintone but definitely noticed it appeared brighter after application.
When a product is promising that it has combined multiple products and benefits into one product - then I am intrigued! I love efficient and effective beauty products.
First off, the packaging - nice sage green is combined with white in a compact 72ml bottle. There is a pump lid which is super handy with managing how much product you are using. This can be twisted slightly to the side to 'lock' the pump, which makes it safer for transporting as there is no actual lid for the pump dispenser.
The consistency of the serum cream is relatively thick, and very white with a lovely fresh scent. I am a big fan of the scent of this product, it smells like pineapple and lemongrass, and leaves me feeling energised. The product tends to soak into my skin pretty quickly, so I feel as though I need to use 2 pumps to cover my face and neck effectively. It does feel like it has a thicker consistency, which I think may be influenced by the SPF factor (as it feels like its on the verge of being a lightweight sunscreen).
This product states that it offers broad range SPF 15 protection. I have relied on this solely a couple of times and have found it to be effective in keeping my face protected from the midday sun. Overall it is quite moisturising, leaving my face plump and hydrated for the day, but I am not sure how much 'brighter' it has made my skin.
I would definitely recommend the Garnier Brightening Serum Cream if you are short on time and want to combine a few beauty steps into one.
I have been using this products for Just under a week now, in conjunction with the cleanser in this range. overall it has been really nice to use, but more as a general moisturiser. after only a week I have not noticed any change to my skin. My skin does appear to be brighter or less dull. So I will need to continue to this product to see if I can see long term results.
My skin: I have combination oily skin, with redness and acne scars that I would like to brighten and reduce the appearance of. I was excited to try this product as is contains vitamin c which is good for brightening pigmentation.
Serum: the texture of the serum was light and absorbed quickly into your skin. I usually use a separate serum (or oil) followed by a moistures and SPF, and I found this serum gave my skin enough hydration. Ir felt more like a moisturiser though than a serum. It absorbed quickly and I had no issues with applying makeup on top of it. The packaging is nice and the pump is easy to use. I like how you can can lock the pump too. However, I have not seen any difference to the appearance of my skin as it’s too early to get results. But as a general face product and moisturiser I think it’s really good, so I hope to see some results soon.
I really like that this product is affordable and it’s also vegan!
I will continue to use this product to see if my skin brightens over time
I used this the way they suggest (in place of my regular serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen) AND applied two pumps and this blended in with no white cast visible. It was also super moisturizing but made my skin look and feel greasy. It initially had a nice finish. I also like how the pump locks. As for the fragrance. It’s vaguely pineapple but it smells like cheap sunscreen and is really strong, to the point where it lingers and I can taste it. It smells like really powdery perfume; not like pineapple at all, in my opinion. The other thing worth noting is that it takes a lot of rubbing in to get it to blend into the skin. Overall, this is something Ill continue to use on days where I need to rush out the door and dont have time for a separate serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen, but I wont be repurchasing because of the strength of the smell
Tips: Use a small amount then apply a second layer after a few minutes to get full protection.
The packaging is simple, a basic pump that dispenses the perfect application amount. It’s small nice size bottle that doesn’t take up much space or shout “look at me!” on my vanity; perfect. The product itself is a lovely lightweight cream, it absorbs beautifully into my skin without feeling greasy or leaving a cast of any sort. I’m not huge on the scent, it’s kind of artificial and chemical smelling, thankfully it dissipates fairly quickly once applied. Does it brighten? Honestly I haven’t noticed a difference though that could be because I haven’t used the product long enough to really see the brightening results. The SPF is a nice touch, I aim for somewhere between SPF30-50 so 15 is a little on the low side. I have continued to use a separate sunscreen so I can’t really speak to the effectiveness of the SPF aspect. I think this would be a pretty good product for someone who doesn’t have super sensitive skin or issues with scented products and is after a simple all in one morning product.
Tips: Even if you think you do a good job of avoiding getting product on your lips WIPE THEM. This stuff tastes bitter and the taste sticks for a while.
I was a little bit skeptical, I generally stay away from products like this for a few reasons:- a) they break me out b) I’m a pretty sensitive skin type so I often have reactions. But I gave it a tentative try- I was surprised that it didn’t break me out too badly, but I did have a slight reaction to it around the nose, it stung if putting on after a face cleanse. The sunscreen is good, always should be wearing a sunscreen but I had an issue where it would sort of travel during the day and end up in my eyes, which was stingy. Over all- I’ve definitely tried worse products. But I wouldn’t buy it for myself again. It mainly does what it says it will do, my skin did seem a little more evenly textured, but Weighing it up with the reaction I wouldn’t keep using it.
Tips: Any sensitive skin people out there may have the same reaction as me, and that’s not ideal.
I've been using this SPF moisturiser for about 2 and a half weeks now. When I first tested the moisturiser on the back of my hand I found that the SPF smell really stayed on the skin, and I couldn't smell the pineapple. Upon applying it to the face I was pleasantly surprised. The sunscreen smell didn't really bother me after I applied my foundation, and I could actually smell the pineapple. The product did leave a slight white cast, as do a-lot of other SPF products. There was nothing out of the ordinary around the "24 hour" moisture claim, my face wasn't more or less moisturised than normal. The product sat fairly well underneath my make up. I have not noticed any "brightening effects" as of yet, but I probably need to use it for 2-3 months before i see those results. Overall, decently good product. I would probably take this product away with me as i really enjoy the lockable pump, great feature!
