A nice gentle cleanser in an easy to use pump bottle. This cleanser has a creamy, silky texture that glides on the skin easily, going a long way. Only 2 small pumps were needed to do my entire face. It has a light scent reminiscent of fresh greenery. It left my face feeling clean and hydrated, not at all dry as some cleansers can do and removed my mascara no issues. Price for this cleanser seem to vary widely between retailers, so it can be found for a very reasonable price if you hunt around, but even at the highest price I found, it was still perfectly affordable.

Reviews
I like this cream cleanser a lot, very sleek packaging, easy to use pump and just a straightforward face cleanser. It doesn’t have a scent, so would be good for sensitive skin types too and it hasn’t irritated my skin at all, but my skin is pretty good with most stuff I put on it anyway. It removes makeup quite well by itself, but I like using it as a second cleanser after a balm or oil cleanser to get leftover residue off, otherwise I need a lot of pumps of this to take all makeup and dirt off with just this cleanser. In the mornings I just use half the amount to freshen up my face and it works great. The only thing I don’t like about this is how it doesn’t go a long way, doesn’t spread that well and I have to use 4-5 pumps as a second cleanse at night and 2-3 pumps in the morning., my bottle is about half empty now and cleansers usually last a little longer for me, but it just doesn’t cover a lot of skin, kinda sticks and doesn’t move around enough to comfortably massage it in and wash it off, unless I use lots of pumps, so I’ve taken some points off for that. Price point is still great, although prices are going higher and higher lately, garnier used to be one of the most affordable brands and now they’re going in a different direction with more natural and cruelty free products and with that come the price hikes, of course, but I’m not mad about it, I happily pay a little more for brands that don’t test on animals for example.
I was excited to be picked to review this as I haven’t been doing any skincare lately and wanted to get back into it. The “super soothing” branding also appealed as I do have sensitive skin.
The cleanser packaging just being plastic isn’t quite as nice as the serum cream. But that is just an observation rather than a criticism. With cleanser I do like them to be on the cheaper side as they don’t sit on your skin for as long. Also I cleanse in the shower so I don’t mind the simpler packaging sitting in the shower. The pump works ready well also.
I liked the product too (which is really the most important part). There is a slight scent to it but I really had to stick my nose right up into it to smell it. I love a cream as it doesn’t leave my dry skin feeling gross. This one is really nice and leaves my skin feeling lovely and not dry at all. I can’t speak about how it removes makeup as I haven’t used makeup in a while. I haven’t had any bad effects on my skin through using this and I appreciate how gentle it is if using with the retinol serum cream as well.
I haven’t always been Garniers’ biggest fan for skincare - but at an affordable price this actually really appeals I will consider repurchasing this when I need a new cleanser.
Liked nice thin bottle as it fits on the cluttered shelf in my shower. Liked attempt at sustainability and advertising that fact they are are trying to be sustainable as I do worry about all the plastic bottle usage, though saying factory that produces it uses 60% renewable electricity doesn’t mean much in NZ where 90% plus of our electricity is renewable. The product itself was good. It felt a little thin the first time I used it but I was happy with how it took off makeup and grim, and my skin felt fresh but not stripped of all moisture afterwards. Didn’t like smell of it but smell didn’t linger once it was washed off. I think given how little you need to use for each wash you’d get good value from this product and it is definitely one I’ll buy again, partly for the product and partly for the sustainability.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
I'm very impressed with this cleanser. It's just the right consistency - not too watery it goes everywhere, but not too thick that you need to spend ages spreading it round. It's very easy to use, although I do wonder how well the pump will work when it get closer to the bottom, I suspect I might be tipping it upside down and decanting at some point. It says it's fragrance free, but to me it definitely has a smell - but it's not unpleasant. A little goes a long way. I only really wear mascara daily so a couple of little pumps is more than enough to clean that off and give my whole face a good clean, so given this, it seems it will last quite a while (I can see it going down, but not that quickly). This seems to be priced between $10 and $15 which is a good price for a quality product - I'd definitely buy it at that price. The packaging isn't that eye catching - but I'm not drawn to products with flashy packaging, I'd rather it works! After using my skin feels clean, but not tight or dry (I have used it and then left it while before using the serum). Would I recommend this to a friend - I already have!
Tips: Don't use too much!
I've always preferred a cream cleanser over anything as, so great to see this Ultra Soothing Cream Amino Super Berry Blend cleanser in Garnier's Green Labs range as a more affordable cream cleanser choice. Claims are cleans and nourish without stripping skin, on all skin types and tones, including sensitive skin.
The packaging is green and white in colour with Garnier's typical informational style, with a green colour cream cleanser, in a 150ml recyclable pump bottle with no lid.
With a wet face and hands, a small amount does a good job of cleansing well, with a silky, creamy texture similar to a higher end product. Skin felt nourished, not at all dry like with some cleansers, and the product cleansed skin well. Will definitely use again.
I like the pump dispenser of this cleanser bottle as it ensures you get enough product without wasting any. The bottle is attractive and sturdy.
While the cleanser does not lather a great deal, it provides good coverage of the face without needing to use excess product, and did a good job of clearing away the days makeup. There is little to no odour which makes for a pleasant experience.
I started using this cleanser when my skin was at its worst, with breakouts, redness and dryness. The product was not only super gentle on my skin, it noticeably soothed it within a very short period of time.
Combined with the retinol-berry serum, I will definitely continue to use this cleanser!
Tips: Gently massage into wet skin before rinsing clean. Follow up with the retinol-berry serum for the ultimate pamper experience!
I really enjoyed this! I switched this with my normal cleanser to ensure I was able to give this a proper review :). The scent is lovely, nice and subtle. The texture is what I really loved, on the thicker side so it wont run off your hands. It's creamy and feels so lovely on your skin. It is very moisturising which is great considering it is aimed at people with dry/sensitive skin. I would re-purchase this for sure!!!
Tips: Not really but when I was using it I used two pumps and that was more than enough :)
Wow another lovely product. I've really enjoyed trialing The Amino-Berry Ultra Soothing Creme Cleanser by Garnier I love the texture of this product, it's a cream not foaming which I love as it is so silky on the skin it just glides over your skins surface. 2 pumps is more than enough ( I've always been a generous helping ) type of girl. Fragrance free so lovely. I used the product at night and it left no makeup or oil on my skin, and having never liked using cleansers because they left my skin feeling stripped and tight this didn't instead it left my skin feeling nourished, refreshed and silky. I've found the product very economical I've been using it for about 10 days and hardly made a dint in the bottle. At under $20.00 a bottle this seems ridiculously good value for such a lovely product.
Love this cleaning cream!! Have been using it for nearly two weeks and it’s beautiful on the face. It has a neutral smell but lovely coverage. After washing it left my face makeup free not even a trace left. My face didn’t feel dried out and felt really clean. Didn’t really feel any micro beads that are present in the cream rather it feels creamy and smooth and yes quite nourishing.
Tips: Use every night
