I must admit I was quite wary of trying this product as I have super sensitive skin that reacts to any active ingredients. The first night I tried this, I used a tiny amount, and the following day, my eyelids swelled up, as I expected. However, it only lasted a day, and then my skin calmed down.
On the box, it recommends using every other night in the first week to give your skin an opportunity to adjust to the retinol. Then by the second week, your skin will have adjusted. As my skin is so sensitive, I stuck with using it every other night for the duration of the trial and didn't have any further reactions.
Did I notice any major changes to my skin? No, not really. My skin didn't feel so dry, but I didn't notice any visible reduction in my fine lines or dark circles.
I will keep using up the cream, and I hope to see some more visible changes in my skin over time. As I was only using it every second night it may need some extra time to take effect. However, I am not sure yet if I will buy more when I have run out.
This is a good size bottle with pump. It's a nice consistency and easy to apply. I like the convenience of being a serum, moisturiser and eye cream in 1. Don't need to use much for the face. When I started to use this, my skin tingles. I saw on the bottle this happens when new to retinol. I had to ensure I used suncream everyday. While I like how my skin felt after applying, I did notice my skin was feeling drier than normal in the mornings.
Tips: Ensure you apply suncream daily due to retinol
