I love love LOVE this shampoo bar! Like the hair good mask, I didn’t realise this was for fine hair until I’d used it 3-4 times, and by then I was sold on it. I love the volume it brings to my thick, heavy hair without being weighed down. The shampoo bar lathers nicely and has good coverage for a small amount of product. I wash my hair 3-4 times a week and have had the same shampoo bar for almost 2 months without having to buy a new one. Such a great product that I will definitely buy again!

I love the idea of no plastics, but the bar just doesn't work for me. Not enough bubbles without the squeaky hair. And the smell is very off putting.
I have fine thinning hair and this bar was perfect to find in the Christmas box to try. No haircare is perfect for me but I was drawn to this shampoo bar as it’s for fine hair and has no extra packaging.
I was really surprised how much it foamed up just by rubbing it on my wet hair and it felt squeaky clean after a double wash. My hair is a lot softer and is definitely volumising like the box says. The watermelon scent I find is subtle and this bar will probably last quite a few months even washing every 3 days. You just have to commit to making sure you keep the bar dry and cool. I’ll definitely be trying the conditioner in this range next.
I do find sometimes though that on day 3 before washing I’m a tad oilier on my roots but I just run some baby powder through (great hack instead of that spray stuff) and it looks better.
Tips: If you go on holiday like I did and leave it to go all gooey you can just put it in the fridge to firm up again.
To begin with I was confused as to how, what looked like a bar of soap, would generate enough foam to actually wash my hair. From first use I found I found this product great. It only takes a few wipes of the bar on your scalp to generate enough foam to be able to lather and wash your hair thoroughly. It was easy to rinse out and left a subtle but pleasant smell. My hair was soft and shiny after use and was gentle on my scalp (I have psoriasis) and found this did not irrate my scalp. I have since become a regular user and alternate between the banana and watermelon flavors.
I got this in the beauty box. I'm glad I got the watermelon one as I love melon scents. For starters, I like watermelon scents although I can smell the melon it seems to be melon and something else, like melon and some spice at the end. It would be better to just be melon. Now if you read its 94% plant origin, you'd assume it's sulfate-free but has sodium coco-sulfate. Compared to my usual shampoo brand the Garnier one really lathers up while the other brand bubbles up. I double shampoo my hair each wash and my scalp felt clean. I don't think I had more volume than I did with my normal shampoo bar. It did the job but I don't think I'd repurchase because I prefer my usual sulfate-free brand and I'd prefer if the scent was just watermelon but I will use this one up.
Tips: Store in a soap dish with a tray to drain the water so it can dry in-between uses that will make the bars last longer.
I am an absolute convert to shampoo bars. I just love them! The less waste we can produce is great for our planet and I applaud companies that are doing their bit to contribute to less waste. This shampoo bar comes in a small cardboard box that can be recycled. The actual bar comes in a cute pinky colour, like watermelon but I'm not too sure that the scent is the same, but I don't find it offensive. The bar is super easy to use and bubbles up nicely. It is easy ti rinse out and I find that my hair feels soft and looks great I'm not sure on how volumising it really is, my hair is fine and I havent really noticed much more fullness to it. That being said, I am still happy with the results.
Tips: You can purchase a tin that you can put your bar in and it will keep it dry in the shower when you are not using it.
I have been going to try this shampoo bar for a long time and finally decided to buy one and give it a go.I love the scent and it lathers up well which is a nice feeling.I am in a habit of shampooing twice so did the same and massaged well into my hair and scalp. My hair felt really nice afterwards and was very soft too. I have fine hair which can go lank but my hair did not sit flat as it usually does which did make it look a little fuller. Over all a good experience .I like the idea of reducing plastic and this is certainly a good way to start.I had purchased a different brand in RR which started me wanting to try others and I am very happy with them both.I like to use different shampoos and enjoy seeing the difference to my hair.
Tips: This would be great to take if you are traveling as no spillage and takes less space.
Now this product is handy, it last a while and you don't need to worry about broken lids or bottles falling over. Only thing I wish is that it smelt more like strawberries has more of a wheat like smell.
Tips: Get one of those wall soaps with the cover that sticks of the wall, keeps little hands away and keeps it dry when not in use
So I bought a bulk online and one of these came in it. I have just tried the banana shampoo bar so was interested to see this one. Unfortunately I think my bar although unopened is old it does not smell like watermelon it's not a nice scent. It looks very much the same tear drop type of shape as the banana and close in colour which is like an off yellow. Results were similar to the banana bar but not as pleasant. When I see one on the shelf in a store I'll give it a sniff because I think mine might be past it's best before given it's scent. I plan to melt it down with the banana one and add some fragrance oils and remould it for using. I've not tried the solid conditioner bars of this brand yet and I can say im not in a hurry to. I'm pleased I got this in a bulk and not paid full price. Results are clean hair and lathered okay in my hand - not as easily as the banana. I look forward to trying this again once I've blended it with other shampoo bars and my fragrance / essential oils for a nicer smell and more pretty to look at solid shampoo. On that note I really do like the bottle versions and hair food conditioner tubs of this line and have been using them for years
I've seen these around and was interested to try it. I love the idea of natural products with no plastic and no animal testing. Well it says it's approved by Cruelty free International, so I hope that means no animal testing.
The product is tear shaped and a pinky-brown (watermelon) color.
I really don't like the smell which is probably supposed to be watermelon but is just unpleasant.
It takes very little to foam the soap and you only need a little of it on your hair as it is very foamy. I don't like that my hair feels squeaky when it's wet, but it does feel soft and hydrated once it's dry, but in my case it also leaves my hair quite limp. I have fine hair so it is the recommended bar for my hair type.
I really wanted to love it but it sadly it isn't for me.
