Garnier Hyaluronic Acid Firming Ampoule Face Sheet Mask

I was sooooo looking forward to the summery, watermelon scent! Only to find that it smells more like dishwashing liquid.. So that was disappointing..

However, I love that they're using less packaging and have made it smaller. It's also much better for storing. Especially if you're like me and hoard face masks :') I also like that you only need to use it for 5 minutes. Most others are 10-20 minutes. Great if you're short on time. It felt like any other face mask while it was on. I like that the eye holes seemed to be a bit bigger. I have wide-set eyes and the tiny eye holes on other masks are my biggest gripe.

After taking it off, it did leave a sticky residue that hung around for a while. Usually the stickiness wears off in a couple of minutes but i still have tacky patches an hour later. That's not the end of the world though, some people like it! I've just always had an issue with having anything sticky on my hands or face, ever since I was a kid haha.

My skin is a lot shinier. I'm not sure if I would call it a glowy shine. It does look hydrated though, so I would say it meets that claim.

Overall, it's an ok mask. Scents are a very individual taste, so others might love it. It's quick, easy and does make your skin appear hydrated. This particular one might not be for me, but I would still be keen to try others in the range.

It's like $6 at Farmers so no harm in trying it out!

End of the week and relaxing with a face mask to start the weekend is always fun. I grabbed this mask from the beauty vault. Overall this mask just felt kinda sticky. It wasn’t a bad mask but I’ve used better. I like that the packaging is small but the mask was tricky to unfold and tore a little bit. I’m not likely to repurchase this.

I was excited to try this face mask as I haven't tried many before, and never a sheet mask like this.

It comes in a nice small packet and easy to open. Faced my first problem when removing mask from pocket and trying to unfold the sheet. It was folded so many time and was so slimy it was hard to find the next layer to unfold.

I then placed it over my face. Overall it is a pretty decent size. However it kept sliding down my face. It has a nice subtle smell, not overpowering.

I followed the clear simple instructions and when it was time to remove it was easy to peel off. My face felt nice and plump.

The instructions were not to wash off but use a cotton pad or similar to remove excess. Then it says you can apply your make up. I followed these steps. Worst idea ever! The makeup wouldn't sit well on my face and even though I removed the excess the makeup seemed to clump little bits together. I would not put makeup on any after using this.

Overall it didn't seem to do to much except plump my skin for a short time. So not sure I'd be in a hurry to use this again.

I initially really liked this but my skin felt super tight afterwards, and when I looked in a mirror it was pink and irritated. It's a shame because it was actually hydrating, but not worth the reaction for me personally. My skin isn't usually sensitive and I never react to other sheet masks, not sure what was in this that made me react.

Unfortunately this product was not one for me. Maybe I'm not a face sheet mask person - I found the sheet mask awkward to get out of the packaging, quite hard to unfold to get the mask ready to apply, and really messy as there was soooo much thick gel like product on it. The mask however once applied was easy to stay put - and i must say it applied to the contour of my face well when it was in place with decent eye holes.

The mask did have a nice light scent to it, a nice fresh scent - which will be from the watermelon, it wasnt overpowering.

There was alot of product on the mask, it felt super dewy ad thick, so i thought it would leave my skin extremely hydrated (i applied it at night before bed), however when i removed the face mask i was left with alot of sticky residue, and my face was extremely sticky to touch, so i had to rinse my face. I was hoping to wake up with smooth soft and plump skin, but unfortunately i didn't notice any difference to my skin when i woke up, and it still had some dry patches.

On a good note though, this ,mask did not cause my skin to break out and it did not irritate my skin when it was applied, which is a plus!

Unfortunately, I don't have a great review on this product. It goes on well, just like any other mask. It mentions on the packet that the serum might be slightly sticky and to just wipe the excess off with a cotton pad after removal of the mask.

However, that was an understatement. My face was so incredibly sticky, that even after I wiped it off with a cotton pad, my skin felt horrible. I ended up having to wipe my face thoroughly with micellar water to try and get rid of the serum.

If I'd noticed great benefits from the mask, I would use it again, despite the stickiness, but unfortunately, I didn't see or feel a difference in term of smoothing or plumping my skin.

I really hate giving negative reviews, but I would definitely not buy this again and if someone asked for my opinion, I would tell them to try something else.

I picked up this Garnier Hyaluronic Acid Firming Ampoule Face Sheet Mask in the Countdown discount aisle paying little more than $1.50. I've tried and loved many a Garnier sheet mask. This is the first I would not repurchase.

The watermelon smell is quite artificial and the mask was particularly slippery to get out of the packet. I almost dropped it twice! It was also not as easy to unfold but is certainly a good fit.

The suggested application time for these ampoule sheet masks is only 5 minutes rather than the 15-20 for many tissue masks. I did leave it on a few minutes longer than this just to get bang for my buck and found my skin really soaked it up, so it is certainly hydrating and plumping.

After removing the mask I smoothed the excess product into my face and neck but found it to be very sticky. My skin did feel tighter but this is due to the sticky product! I ended up removing it with micellar water before applying serum and moisturiser.
