I really didn't enjoy this mask at all. I found it way too slipper and the mask didn't fit my face at all. There was way too much product in the packet and when i opened it it spilled out everywhere. I left the mask on my face for the fifteen minutes it says to and i was annoyed by it the whole time by the ill-fit and slimy feeling. Once i took the mask off i waited a bit and then massaged the residue into my skin. It didn't absorb into my skin and was just sitting on top of it. The smell of it wasn't pleasant either. After i washed the residue off with a face-cloth my skin did feel softer for a while but i didn't really notice any real difference.

Tips: Open the packet over a wipe-able surface.
I have recently returned from a 2 week holiday in New York. New York was hot and the flights were long and even with moisturising my face twice a day and drinking liters of water my skin was looking less than it's best. As a result my skin really needed a mask such as this.
I have always been a sheet lover fan and normally purchase Korean beauty masks. This my my first time using one not from a Korean beauty brand.
My first thoughts after taking the mask out of the package was how moist it was. They really have not skimped on product!! I applied it to my face as per the directions and went to remove the blue layer. Trying to remove the blue layer while it was on my face caused the whole mask to fall off my face. So i had to remove the blue layer and then put the mask back on my face. It was pretty easy to do it this way so I did not mind.
After the 15 min recommended for this mark to stay on my face I removed the mask and was left with a lot of product still sitting on to of my skin. I patted this in but it did take awhile as this really is the most moist mask I have ever used.
Directly afterwards my skin looked plump but felt a bit sticky. 12 hours later my skin had retained it's plumpness and my skin felt very smooth.
Overall I was happy with this experiance.
Tips: Take the blue layer off before placing it on your face.
On first impressions the mask looks like it does a lot. L'Oréal state that this mask will rehydrate, clear and balance my combination, dehydrated complexion. The packet has clear, step by step instructions, with pictures on the back to help all those first time sheet mask users that may have any doubts about how to apply this. The mask has a lot of product on, so feels quite heavy when you take out of the packet. You have to make sure you place it on with the protective blue cover facing outwards, then peel off which I found easy enough to do. Then reposition to fit your face as best you can and wait 15 minutes. I found the holes did not fit my face exactly and were a little on the small side, but this is to be expected with a generic mask. When the mask was on it felt quite cooling on my skin which I think is a nice effect. Once removed after the 15 minutes time advised, I smoothed the remaining product into my skin; there was quite a bit remaining. I think overall my skin feels a lot more refreshed. It feels less tight and does look brighter with less shine. I am undecided on the pore tightening and would have to use again to say if there was any improvement. For the price and ease of use at home I think it is good value.
Tips: Do it with a mirror handy. Have some tissues to wipe your hands on.
I thought this mask was good, not great but not bad either. They have a second, peel-able, layer on top of the actual mask, I'm assuming for ease of application, however I found it probably wasn't that necessary and if anything made it more difficult to apply (especially in regards to avoiding the eyes/eye area). I used this before bed and my skin definitely felt soft and smooth- almost slight dewy, for awhile after use and my skin tone also looked better - probably due to the hydration. I didn't feel that this product gave me a whole lot of lasting hydration in general though as when I woke up the next day my skin was fairly well how it was prior to using the mask. The mask didn't break me out though which was good and it definitely felt nice to use at the time. I would totally use it as a pamper product or a extra treat to add to the shopping since you can buy the masks at the supermarket... but I don't think I would reach for it as something to actually help with my skin and any specific issues I am looking to address.
I love sheet masks and try to do one at least once a week. They're the best value treat you can have! I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, so was looking forward to trying the The Garnier Green Tea Tissue Mask, which helps to moisturise the dry bits and mattify the oily bits. The fragrance was a bit off-putting at first. It has that musty tea smell but there was also a real chemical odour like nail-polish, which thankfully faded after a while. The tissue needed to be stretched and patted into place - the eye holes were quite small and not widely placed enough and the nose bit was very long so I had to do a bit of manipulation before the mask was comfortable enough to wear. A cooling sensation came on very quickly and felt quite tingly and refreshing. After 15 minutes or so, I removed the mask. Usually I'd rinse off the goop and then moisturise, but the instructions said I could massage in the excess and leave it, so I did. It left a slight tackiness on my skin but I was going to bed anyway, so it didn't really matter. The next morning I rinsed my face and was quite pleasantly surprised at how soft and clear my skin was! I'm usually quite oily in the mornings but my skin had a definite matte appearance without being dry. It was pretty good! Probably the only things that let this mask down for me was the shape of the mask and the odour. But the results were good!
Tips: Only leave the excess on your skin if you're not going anywhere - otherwise rinse off!
A single facemask you can buy with your groceries for about $4, genius! Has a lot of product on it, I mean a LOT. The mask itself is huge and you really need to be lying down otherwise it just slips off. Skin felt great after using it and I'd happily buy it again esp on special, but more for the relaxation of using a facemask, I don't know how hydrating it really was.
Tips: Tie your hair back.
