On first impressions the mask looks like it does a lot. L'Oréal state that this mask will rehydrate, clear and balance my combination, dehydrated complexion. The packet has clear, step by step instructions, with pictures on the back to help all those first time sheet mask users that may have any doubts about how to apply this. The mask has a lot of product on, so feels quite heavy when you take out of the packet. You have to make sure you place it on with the protective blue cover facing outwards, then peel off which I found easy enough to do. Then reposition to fit your face as best you can and wait 15 minutes. I found the holes did not fit my face exactly and were a little on the small side, but this is to be expected with a generic mask. When the mask was on it felt quite cooling on my skin which I think is a nice effect. Once removed after the 15 minutes time advised, I smoothed the remaining product into my skin; there was quite a bit remaining. I think overall my skin feels a lot more refreshed. It feels less tight and does look brighter with less shine. I am undecided on the pore tightening and would have to use again to say if there was any improvement. For the price and ease of use at home I think it is good value.

Tips: Do it with a mirror handy. Have some tissues to wipe your hands on.
I have recently returned from a 2 week holiday in New York. New York was hot and the flights were long and even with moisturising my face twice a day and drinking liters of water my skin was looking less than it's best. As a result my skin really needed a mask such as this.
I have always been a sheet lover fan and normally purchase Korean beauty masks. This my my first time using one not from a Korean beauty brand.
My first thoughts after taking the mask out of the package was how moist it was. They really have not skimped on product!! I applied it to my face as per the directions and went to remove the blue layer. Trying to remove the blue layer while it was on my face caused the whole mask to fall off my face. So i had to remove the blue layer and then put the mask back on my face. It was pretty easy to do it this way so I did not mind.
After the 15 min recommended for this mark to stay on my face I removed the mask and was left with a lot of product still sitting on to of my skin. I patted this in but it did take awhile as this really is the most moist mask I have ever used.
Directly afterwards my skin looked plump but felt a bit sticky. 12 hours later my skin had retained it's plumpness and my skin felt very smooth.
Overall I was happy with this experiance.
Tips: Take the blue layer off before placing it on your face.
I was a little skeptical seeing that it claimed for really long lasting hydration, usually masks for me feel hydrating until I wake up the next morning. It was very slimy as all masks are and the blue film was helpful when putting it on. I put it on before bed and after the 15 minutes rubbed it in with a cotton pad to remove the excess gel.It felt really nice but the real test was to see how long it lasted. To my surprise when I woke up and do my usual water on face to wake me up, my face felt very slimy almost. This was the water reacting with the mask that was still there. It felt really good! My face was still so hydrated and I popped my makeup on for the day. It really helped eliminate flakiness on my skin when putting on foundation.
I received this product to trial and was very excited when it arrived. It was much bigger on the outside which I didn't expect and really quite substantial on the inside too. I loved the freshness both in look and feel. It was definitely not the easiest to apply but it did feel lush and decadent once I worked it out. I liked the smell and feel which felt like a real treat and I think it would be fabulous on a hot day to indulge with. The mask was a bit fiddly for me but I am not used to masks that cover the whole face, I usually use ones you rub on. There was also lots left over on my skin.
I loved the result and would definitely try again now I sort of know how it all works.
Tips: Don't use when it's cold It is a bit messy so take your time
I was excited to give this mask a go, my skin is a mix of oily and dry so I was excited to see what this could do for me! First observation was there is so much liquid in the mask, all the better for hydrating! It comes folded in quarter, after gently unfolding it it’s time to put it on. I found it fit a little funny as I tried to get it in place, the holes were quite narrow around the eyes and mouth but fit well enough, it was also quite long for my face. However, once you peel the protective layer off it’s very easy to mold the mask into a comfortable fit. I found it quite difficult to get the protective layer off, once I managed to get it lifting, it lifted the whole mask off my face as I peeled it off so I very gently had to maneuver it all back into place. After 15mins it was time to come off, I like that given how much moisture was in the mask, it doesn’t dry out and stick to your skin it’s just slides right off leaving a layer of moisture goodness on your skin. It suggests either rubbing this left over product in or removing it with a clean cotton pad. I chose to rub it in since I was just heading to bed anyway but I did find it left a sort of sticky layer on my face, which felt a little jelly like when I washed my face the following morning, so I would probably use a cotton pad next time if I weren’t heading straight to bed. My skin felt so good, and not just after doing the mask, it felt great the next day, and even more amazing after applying moisturizer the following few days, it just soaked up all the moisture and felt super soft and smooth. I’m not convinced it reduced visible pores or anything but maybe I just need to do a few more! All in all, this was a really lovely mask, it definitely deserves the name hydra bomb! My skin felt great for days following.
Tips: Be super gentle when peeling the protective layer off or you’ll lift the mask back off!
This little packet of wonderful came out to me to review last week. On receiving, I had a good look at the instructions and waited for a fairly quiet evening when I could crack it open. As I have pretty sensitive skin, I was skeptical straight off that it would do anything but was also excited to see how it would go. Taking it out of the sachet is a bit tricky but if you dont mind getting a bit of gloop on your fingers then you are all good. Un-folding it was pretty good, probably due to the blue film that is on the mask I would say, and this helped to get it un-folded without any tears, yay! Next, I put it on my face and smoothed it out before removing the blue film. It felt lovely, cool and refreshing, a nice surprise. Setting my timer for 15 mins, I sat back with a cuppa and waited... When the timer went off, I really felt like I didnt want to remove it as it still felt nice and cool. Removing was not a problem and I rubbed as much into my face, neck, hands as possible before finishing off with a cotton round to mop up any residue. My face definitely felt refreshed and hydrated and really smooth. I'd be keen as to get a couple more to try out over a week or so to see if it made more difference to my pores as one application I think is too soon to tell. Overall, it did a lovely refreshing, relaxing job which I was pretty pleased about, especially at this time of year when your face is extra dry and needs some hydration help. Lovely product and I will be looking out for it at my local supermarket for sure! PS.. a great price too!
Tips: Use any residual product on your hands and/or neck as an extra treatment...Lovely!
I was having a bad day, and so in a grumpy mood I picked this up from the supermarket to cheer me up. It was on special for $3.50 which was a nice bonus.
The one thing I dislike about tissue masks is the wastage. The amount of product left in the packet and in the mask itself after you've finished applying it makes me feel a bit ripped off. So I always squeeze out the excess onto my decollatage.
The scent of this mask was super refreshing and light. I felt instantly calmer as I applied the cool mask to my face. The shape and size of the mask was a bit too small around the eyes and mouth, so I had to concentrate really hard to not get any product in my eyes or mouth. But this is probably the case with most tissue masks.
After initially removing the product I dabbed the excess into my skin and instantly noticed how plump and hydrated my skin felt.
The next morning was where I was really impressed. My skin still felt super hydrated and I felt naturally radiant. I wouldn't say that it mattified my skin, but I wasn't fussed about that.
The hydration certainly lasted 24 hours, leaving me one happy customer! I will definitely repurchase next time I need a little pick-me-up.
I'm a big fan of the Garnier tissue masks as an on-budget treat and was excited to try this one. It wasn't too soppy but I appreciated the blue protective film which adds a bit of stability when applying the thin tissue mask to your face. The green tea is a really nice, natural scent and it was lovely to take 15 minutes to relax with the mask on. Afterwards I massaged the excess product into my face and neck per the instructions and it more or less absorbed without stickiness. My skin definitely looked and felt like it had a hydration boost immediately afterwards but I'm not convinced that it lasted an entire 24 hours - probably just until I showered the following morning!
I love sheet masks and try to do one at least once a week. They're the best value treat you can have! I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, so was looking forward to trying the The Garnier Green Tea Tissue Mask, which helps to moisturise the dry bits and mattify the oily bits. The fragrance was a bit off-putting at first. It has that musty tea smell but there was also a real chemical odour like nail-polish, which thankfully faded after a while. The tissue needed to be stretched and patted into place - the eye holes were quite small and not widely placed enough and the nose bit was very long so I had to do a bit of manipulation before the mask was comfortable enough to wear. A cooling sensation came on very quickly and felt quite tingly and refreshing. After 15 minutes or so, I removed the mask. Usually I'd rinse off the goop and then moisturise, but the instructions said I could massage in the excess and leave it, so I did. It left a slight tackiness on my skin but I was going to bed anyway, so it didn't really matter. The next morning I rinsed my face and was quite pleasantly surprised at how soft and clear my skin was! I'm usually quite oily in the mornings but my skin had a definite matte appearance without being dry. It was pretty good! Probably the only things that let this mask down for me was the shape of the mask and the odour. But the results were good!
Tips: Only leave the excess on your skin if you're not going anywhere - otherwise rinse off!
The packaging for the product was very nice. It was well labelled. The pictures of the leaves on there were very nice. It makes me feel like it's very hydrating with the liquid on the packaging. It's great that it lasts for 24 hours. The mask looked great, a nice white colour and it was very easy to apply to my skin. After use my skin felt great! It was also very easy to take out of the pouch. A great product!
