I use the Shea Butter formula for Very Dry skin all over my body, particularly on my very dry feet! For a relatively thin lotion, it packs a lot of moisturisation and clears up dry skin and calluses on my feet within about a week of twice daily use. It rubs in easily, which is great and doesn't feel greasy after use. It has a nice and not overpowering fresh scent, so you smell clean but not like Nana! One of the products I keep coming back to because it actually works without costing the earth.

Tips: Use twice daily for ongoing results.
My skin can get really dry at times, I don't know whether it's the weather change, but Garnier seems to be the perfect lotion for my skin type! The smell is divine! And it keeps my skin soft and moisturised all day! Couldn't live without it
I really wanted this to work for my very dry patchy skin because the price excites me so does the size! The reality is it's just not that great for me.
I used the Shea Butter formula for dry skin and found it very hard to rub it in to my skin. It would leave white streaks of cream that my skin wouldn't absorb which made clothing hard to put on after use.
Usually Garnier products are my go to skin care products but this time it had me wondering why! I am sure that people with normal skin might find it well worth using but for me I just wasn't sold on the product.
The smell however was divine and I loved the fact that the smell lasted for a long time on my skin. The bottle is quite big for the price which is good because I love a good bargain when it comes to size for price like this.
The easy squeeze bottle is easy to use and gets the last drops out but I prefer pump bottles to minimize wasting product by squirting out too much at one time. I really don't have much to rave about other than that.
Tips: Probably better for a person with normal skin as an all over general body moisturizer not for targeting skin problems such as dry
i use my Aloe Vera Garnier Intensive lotion everyday mostly on my legs because after showering they most of the time end up being very dry. it just makes me feel refreshed and ready for the day not having to worry about having dry scaly legs.
Tips: it works best for me just out of the shower with patted dry legs.
I remember using this product years ago and the scent crossed my mind last time I came to buy a new moisturizer. I ended up purchasing it, thrilled that it's still sold and now I'm wondering why I ever stopped using it in the first place! I'm pretty lazy so just apply it after a shower before bed and it's great because ito absorbed quickly without leaving a horrible sticky feeling. It's easy to apply and in really noticing a difference it my skin.
Tips: Fast absorbing so great to apply at night before bed.
This is one of my favourite drugstore moisturiser. I had the shea butter one of something for dry skin and after a few days of using this I quickly saw improvements in my skin. You only need a little bit and its very moisturising and smells really nice. It feels super moisturising as soon as its applied to your skin and you have to wait a little bit for it to soak in but other than that its great especially for the price.
Tips: Put it on before you go to bed and you will wake up with super moisturised and soft skin.
I suffer from quite dry skin, especially on my legs so I was looking for a nice thick moisturiser that would sink into my skin and keep it hydrated. I found this product to be very light and that instead of sinking into my skin it sat on the surface and took ages to absorb. It does have a really nice scent to it but not the type of moisturiser for me.
Tips: Apply and allow time for the skin to absorb it before getting dressed.
This is one of those times when an unassuming supermarket product gets it *exactly* right. This lotion is capable of playing in the big league.
The bottles are generous and easy to hold/dispense from, with a pale green colour to them that (to me) screams 'soft'.
The lotion is a decent thickness, and the two scents I've tried (shea butter and mango) have both been tastefully scented and not overpowering.
The lotion spreads easily and absorbs readily into skin, leaving no residual oiliness, greasiness, or sheen.
Skin is left soft, lightly perfumed, and feeling and looking healthy.
The easy to open and close bottle is very generous for the small pricetag, and the lotion lasts and lasts.
A must for anyone who wants a cheaper lotion that packs a powerful punch!
I have used a few different ones from this range but my favourite is the Aloe Vera one as the scent isn't too strong making it nice for an every day moisturiser.
The product itself isn't too thick and is easily absorbed into the skin without leaving a residue or film. I love to use this product after I have fake tanned to prolong my colour.
It states 7 days of moisture after application but I still like to apply it every 1 - 2 days as I have drier skin. The price tag on this product for the size is definitely a plus and I will keep repurchasing as it is a good supermarket moisturiser!
I am reviewing the Mango formulation of this lotion - the smell is amazing a perfumey take on Mango, but sadly the formula is unbearable for me, it feels nice going on but it stays tacky all day on my skin and drives me insane with the oily feeling residue which sticks to my clothing and makes me feel all itchy. A real shame as this is a lovely product otherwise, but the fact it doesn't ever sink in properly is a real deal breaker for me. It is also super cheap, readily available at your supermarket and comes in a nice big bottle.
