I am reviewing the Mango formulation of this lotion - the smell is amazing a perfumey take on Mango, but sadly the formula is unbearable for me, it feels nice going on but it stays tacky all day on my skin and drives me insane with the oily feeling residue which sticks to my clothing and makes me feel all itchy. A real shame as this is a lovely product otherwise, but the fact it doesn't ever sink in properly is a real deal breaker for me. It is also super cheap, readily available at your supermarket and comes in a nice big bottle.

I picked this lotion up from the warehouse, something new to try. I really liked the smell of it, and the size of the bottle was good, showing you get quite a lot of product, but I found it to be a bit greasy/oily on my skin, and I had to kind of sit and wait for it to dry up/absorb properly. I ended up giving mine away as there is others on the market that do a better job for me.
I suffer from quite dry skin, especially on my legs so I was looking for a nice thick moisturiser that would sink into my skin and keep it hydrated. I found this product to be very light and that instead of sinking into my skin it sat on the surface and took ages to absorb. It does have a really nice scent to it but not the type of moisturiser for me.
Tips: Apply and allow time for the skin to absorb it before getting dressed.
I tried the mango variety of this range. The positive points are that it's cheap, and smells great. The not-so-good part is how it just sits on the skin after application and doesn' t seem to absorb. I don't agree with the claim that it keeps your skin hydrated for seven days either. Overall, it's an average product, and I feel that there are more effective body moisturisers out there.
I didn't like them smell and it make my skin oily for a long time and i couldn't do anything after using it. Not the product for me as I'm always doing stuff
I really wanted this to work for my very dry patchy skin because the price excites me so does the size! The reality is it's just not that great for me.
I used the Shea Butter formula for dry skin and found it very hard to rub it in to my skin. It would leave white streaks of cream that my skin wouldn't absorb which made clothing hard to put on after use.
Usually Garnier products are my go to skin care products but this time it had me wondering why! I am sure that people with normal skin might find it well worth using but for me I just wasn't sold on the product.
The smell however was divine and I loved the fact that the smell lasted for a long time on my skin. The bottle is quite big for the price which is good because I love a good bargain when it comes to size for price like this.
The easy squeeze bottle is easy to use and gets the last drops out but I prefer pump bottles to minimize wasting product by squirting out too much at one time. I really don't have much to rave about other than that.
Tips: Probably better for a person with normal skin as an all over general body moisturizer not for targeting skin problems such as dry
I have the Mango one for dry skin and I have to admit that I only used this probably 3 or 4 times, it was an average moisturiser, wasn't anything special, dries quickly and leaves your skin looking well nourished but definitely does not moisturise for 7 days! I purchased a Dove moisturiser and put this one to the back of my bathroom cabinet.
The smell is always amazing with garnier products so its always a go to brand. But I could not love this moisturizer! I found it quite runny and hard to rub into your skin compared to the pots that soak in without heavily rubbing. The bottle is quite slim so when the bottle gets under half you need to give it a good shake to get the moisturizer to move. One of the frustrating things I did find with this was I was not able to leave it upside down to move the last of the bottle down as the lid is rounded and doesn't sit flat, also because its such a large bottle a cup doesn't support the weight. It is cheaper than the pots and good value for money but I would happily pay the extra bit more and get a product that I can get every bit out of without making a mess and having to spend a half my time getting ready moisturizing my legs.
I was drawn to this product as I have used many Garnier products in the past and it was on special and a generous 400 ml bottle. Also, its claim of hydrating dry skin over a period of seven days appealed as I especially find my hands are dry, both summer and winter. I used Garnier Intensive Shea Butter Lotion for Very Dry skin and found it a great consistency and absorbed quickly, meaning you could pt it on before going to bed without residue getting on the bed linen. After seven days I felt my hands hadn't really improved but the skin on my legs had. I have continued using this daily, using the whole bottle. I conclude that my older skin needs a more intensive moisturiser for my hands. I found getting the last out of the bottle difficult and reverted to cutting the bottle open, as it was hard to balance upside down.
I ran out of body lotion & this was on sale at the supermarket so thought why not get it well it was a wrong move. The bottle is a decent size & it also lured me into the purchase but upon the use I was disappointed I thought perhaps I need to give a good go so that I did I used it right up to the end of its bottle & was sadly dissapointed it never hydrated any part of my body. My legs & arms were still cracked still & because the bottle was a good size I was very excessive ( heavy handed) which made no difference zero nuddah ziltch. I wouldn't repurchase this it's like jist putting water on my skin and that's it.
